SheCodes Responsive has been such an amazing experience. I have learnt so much and I am so happy and surprised by the knowledge I have acquired and have retained. Matt is such a great instructor.

This portion of my journey has really taught me patience, sometimes we just have to step back if there is a set back take a breather and try again. This experience has taught me to never quit and to keep on trying even when it gets frustrating. Overall i really enjoyed creating this project and it was so much fun doing it step by step with Matt.

I really liked the responsive content and creating the website was fun! Alot of detail but with Matt's easy to follow step by step guides, I was able to create it quicker than on my own and with less headaches!

This was a nice easy-to-follow course in bite-size pieces, with which you slowly but surely build up the different skills needed to put together a page at the end of each week. You then put everything that you have learnt in the course in a final project at the end, which is very satisfying. Matt is a good teacher too, nice voice with clear instructions and very encouraging.

It has been a journey, a challenging one but a journey that is worth it. I have learnt so much in a short space of time, thank you to Matt and the community that he has created for us women that constantly and consistently provides guidance throughout . What a remarkable experience! While completing this Basics AddOn course was challenging, the sense of progress and the vibrancy of the project I created made it all worthwhile. Python is such a useful language to know. I've always really enjoyed learning from Matt and how he has SheCodes set up with videos and challenges. I wish more had been explained in certain areas. After exclaiming that scope and functions are one of the hardest concepts, I feel like it wasn't explained super thoroughly.

I signed up for the Free Coding Class and, because of it, decided to start with the Basics. The structure of SheCodes Basics is well thought and engaging. Free coding tools are provided as well as plenty study material alongside Matt's clear and concise lessons. I confess to have lost track of time quite often during the final project but it was time worth spending - and it was fun! I am definitely up for a Challenge next. And you? 🙂

The step by step structure of the courses make it easy to follow and digest. The week deadlines allow for flexibility so you can learn at whatever pace you find comfortable and Matt is a great teacher who explains each section thoroughly.

This was the most challenging course so far but Matt takes us step by step through Python. It was great!

Python Advanced was a real challenge by far but I was able to follow along with the steps Matt gave in each lesson. Definitely a workshop you have to take your time with to try to understand how Python works. This workshop was a great starter to learning python, certainly learned a few things that will help me in continuing my learning of Python.

SheCodes Basics workshop is a very fun way to learn the basics on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This was my first contact with coding and I absolutely loved it! I have learned a lot with Matt's precious tips, and the challenges and final project were very useful to put the learning into practice, while also stimulating our creativity.

Great lessons from Matt. Rather than crafting the perfect scenarios for the online lessons, Matt highlight common mistakes when going through the codes and thereby teaches bug fixes to overcome those issues.

I'm so proud of myself for being able to complete the basic workshop and now much more excited for the next ones! Professor Matt has excellent teaching skills, he is not long-winded, he explains what is necessary and gives us space to discover things and not just copy the content. Before taking the SheCodes Basics workshop, I used to think coding was a technical and boring activity jampacked with weird looking symbols and random numbers, and that only computer science nerds could understand and do it. But in less than 1 month, I learned how to create an interactive website FROM SCRATCH! I got to behold the beauty of CSS properties 🌈 and learn all about the interesting interactions that can be created using Javascript Logical Operators 🤯. Trust me, those concepts are not nearly as scary or hard to learn as they sound, especially when you have the SheCodes Instructor, Monsieur Matthieu, as your guide. He is highly skilled at breaking down the concepts, providing lots of examples and relating coding concepts to everyday things that you'll find yourself mastering the topics in no time at all REGARDLESS of your background/previous field. If you've always wanted to learn to code in an environment that doesn't make it feel like rocket science, rather fun and engaging, SheCodes is your best bet! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
