So far, I'm loving the SheCodes workshops. I find it very easy to follow along with Matt and the format makes learning these new concepts and languages really easy!

For almost a few years now, I have been wanting to learn coding, but I have struggled to find the time and motivation to do so. Furthermore, I was unaware of any organized courses for self-learning, and I found the idea of coding to be burdensome and difficult. However, I was fortunate enough to discover SheCodes, which has completely transformed my perspective on coding. Matt Delac's teaching method is exceptional, and he makes coding seem both enjoyable and easy to learn. I am amazed at how much I now enjoy coding, something I never thought possible. Previously, I had viewed coding as dull and boring compared to the colorful world of design, but SheCodes has completely changed my mind. I can't wait to learn more!
These add-on courses are just enriching my knowledge of front end development. I am thoroughly enjoying learning all the little extras I didn't learn in the main courses. The Basics course was absolutely amazing. Matt explains everything in a clear and comprehensible way even for absolute beginners. If you are wondering if you can learn to code around a busy schedule such as juggling a full-time job and attending children's school and sport activities, the answer is YES, you can! Lessons are divided into bite-size pieces. The instructor's micro-learning structure enables students to learn a little at a time and at their own pace. Lessons include tutorial videos and support along the way. When I began my course a couple of weeks ago, I was uncertain if I could really be successful. I am so grateful I stretched my comfort zone and gave it a try! It was so rewarding to see my finished product. Even better, was the look on my children's faces when they saw what I was able to accomplish in a short timeframe! Thanks to Matt, the instructor, and the SheCodes team, I feel empowered to continue learning to code. I just wanted to share a quick note about She Codes and let everyone know that this is one of the best programs/workshop I have ever joined. I'm glad I have decided to work overtime to pay for this workshop certificates because it is worth every penny. I have learned a lot in the SheCodes Plus course. I've been surprised at how quickly I picked up the API integration, this goes to show what a fantastic teacher Matt is. Using SheCodes own API resources has allowed me the choice to challenge myself further than what is shown in the learning section. This opportunity has given me a lot more confidence in my abilities. I'd like to thank Matt and his team at SheCodes for the support that they provide to their students throughout their learning experience. I have had some personal trials throughout this course, as we all do at times, which have caused me to make use of the postponement feature, however, still having that accountability that SheCodes provides with the courses has made a difference for myself to continue my coding journey.
SheCodes Plus is very challenging I must attest but it is best to follow and code along from Week 7 - Week 8 because if you just watch and decide to code it later, you will not know where to start. It has been a difficult but rewarding experience. No matter your current level, just keep moving and don't quit. Thank you Matt and SheCodes Team for an amazing Workshop, I love every session.
This experience has been one of the most challenging, interesting, and mentally training I have ever had. I have not only gained coding knowledge, but I have acquired a lot more confidence, time management, and concentration. Another incredible SheCodes workshop where I am shocked by how much I've learned and how amazing coding is! Great experience. Thanks to SheCodes, I was able to expand my programming skills and create my own weather website. The SheCodes Basics Workshop was my very first contact with coding in my entire life. I used to believe that learning to code from scratch was impossible. SheCodes basic course was very easy to understand. We can start doing the basic coding on the spot. Matt was very good in his explanations. These lessons have been more helpful than 2 years of college. Matt helped me to understand the bases of coding and to learn why and what I'm doing anytime. The fact that, in every lesson, you could practice whatever you were learning was helpful as well as seeing the different uses of that code. Now I'm more motivated than before to keep learning to code better every day.

I really enjoyed the Basic SheCodes Workshop. It taught me a lot of concepts and the challenges were a really great way to build confidence. The one thing that really stood out for me was how compact yet sufficient the material was for the workshop. Matt taught exactly the things which were required at basics level and made things very easy to understand.
Another excellent workshop. I designed and produced a fun, responsive project that continues to add to my portfolio. Matt's approach to teaching never fails to engage me in the lesson and provides the answers to all the questions I can come up with.

Creating a functional weather app was very challenging at times yet Matt made it as easy to understand as possible. I'm honestly in awe at how much i've learnt and what I've been able to do in such little time. 100% recommend!
This was my fifth workshop from SheCodes and I loved it. Finally I liked one of my designs although it was really simply and experimental. Matt is a great instructor to show you the tools you need to build something of your own. I'm looking forward to the next workshop and everything I will build from scratch. As someone who had absolutely no prior IT experience, the course was not as tough as I thought. Our instructor, Matt thoroughly explained each and every step which made it so much easier for me. I just love how SheCodes is a safe space for women and I definitely recommended it for every woman wanting to break into the tech industry.
Imagine, within 8 weeks, you can learn how to code your very own weather application? With SheCodes, I was able to do so! All the topics were covered. Different tips and tricks when it comes to coding were also shared, and Matt is a very effective instructor. He explains the concepts in the simplest ways possible. The SheCodes Plus workshop was challenging at first but as time passed I understood more of what I was doing. Matt makes coding easy as the content is explained in a manner where one can understand all the concepts and how they are applied in real life🤗.

I've loved learning again at my age, it's been fascinating working behind the scenes after being a graphic designer since the late 80s. I am super impressed with the set up of SheCodes and the very clear way in which the fantastic tutor, Matt, is able to explain the most seemingly confusing new language of numbers, letters and punctuation marks. I highly recommend this course, not just for those seeking a new career in coding but to widen your knowledge and have a better understanding of what your web designers do all day!
I was really nervous starting out at the workshop and I thought it would difficult for me but it has actually been the opposite. Before this course I could not have opened html and known what I was looking at. Now I can comfortably navigate and make a single page with interactions. This course means so much to me. So grateful that Matt and his team cared for those of us that don't have any other way of learning these skills at this price. I can't wait to keep learning and build on this knowledge foundation.
