Matt is a natural at walking people through coding fundamentals. The intro course is a great way to get your feet wet in HTML and CSS. The videos are engaging and the concepts are presented in a way that makes them easy to grasp.

I'm enjoying learning this new skill set from Matt and the SheCodes team, there are definitely times where it is frustrating and complicated but Matt's videos are pretty detailed and the team is available to help on Slack. I never would have thought I would have been able to build a "weather app."

Out of all the online course to learn coding, this has helped me the most. The way Matt explains things without necessarily using technical jargon straight away has helped me understanding things more than I thought I would. In actual fact, I didn't think I would get this far or be able to code at all!
It is always requires a lot of courage to make a step towards your dreams. For me, IT was always a broad concept associated with excessive amount of terms and rules and you need to know which one to choose from millions of them to implement into functionable project. Seemed pretty difficult until I decided not to judge the book by its cover. I am pretty excited that I made a decision to start coding with SheCodes. Since the very start the team led by instructor Matt was super supportive. Matt has this ability to put it straight to the core making the process of learning fun and efficient.

Embarking on SheCodes Basics program was fun and educating but, I experienced difficulty because I didn't have a laptop of my own. I had to write the code on my phone, copy it and send it to my flash so I can use a friend's laptop. All the same I graduated... I strongly believe in the quote "I can do anything I put my mind to 💯" Thanks to Matt Delac and his amazing team!!!

I really enjoyed this coding workshop. When I began my coding journey with Delac Foundation for women, I had zero coding background and now I can confidently say I have a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .I am excited to learn more about coding and tackle more advanced coding challenges. I absolutely loved learning how to make my website responsive, especially since I mostly browse the internet on my phone! I have to go back now and apply this knowledge to all my past projects. Matt was, again, a very thorough teacher and the lessons were paced perfectly.

Before taking the SheCodes Responsive course, I had a basic understanding of HTML and CSS, but my websites looked clunky on different devices. This course completely changed that! I learned the fundamentals of responsive design in a clear and engaging way, with plenty of hands-on practice through small challenges and a final project. The instructor, Matt Delac, explained complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way, using real-world examples and humor to keep things engaging. The course wasn't just theory. We practiced our skills with weekly challenges and built a multi-page responsive website as our final project. This helped me solidify my understanding and gain real-world experience. If you're interested in learning responsive design, I highly recommend the SheCodes Responsive course!

Matthew explains React very simply and fluently so that anyone who is not familiar with any framework can easily understand it. But this course is far from the complete topics of React and maybe only 20% of React was discussed. I suggest that after completing this course, look for learning more about React
Delac Foundation was among my answered prayers as of last year 2023 and an incredible learning experience! it was challenging and fun all together that I cant even think of giving up but rather stick to being productive and learning new skills, which i never thought in 3 weeks time I'd acquire as much as I do now when it comes to coding. Thanks to my amazing teacher "Matt" for his efforts and thoughts towards this industry, 5 star rate (highly recommend).
I must admit, I was very intimidated coming into this field knowing nothing. Matt has really helped break everything down and build the confidence you need. SheCodes is truly for everybody.
I have been studying coding for a while now with another platform for the paste 9months and it became tiring and vhim killing to learn. The tutorial was bad until a friend recommended shecodes. Within 2 weeks on just basics i've understood and can do what i couldn't do before studying for 9months. Matt is a blessing. I am determined to finish through with good understanding.
I am glad to announce my final completion of this advanced stage. Despite being challenging and demanding it was a lot of fun and i learnt a whole lot. While going through this stage, getting error message and correcting them was my biggest thrill and what kept me going. i am grateful to the crew of SheCodes and the instructor Matt for taking his time and explain specifically and respectively. My favorite thing about this coding workshop is that it provides homework and challenges along the way to make sure I understand and that I actively engage with the content for the best learning experience. WOW SheCodes Plus has been one hell of a journey 😅 I'm so proud of my weather app! 🌈 There were times I thought I might throw my laptop out the window but then I would find the bug causing the problem and honestly, this is the most satisfying feeling. It's funny how convinced you can get that the whole thing is just wrong and it'll literally be ONE semi-colon or something equally tiny that's missing that breaks the whole thing. Anyway, thanks again Matt, your ability to deliver complex information in bitesize chunks is great and being able to see our project get upgraded more and more as we apply what we're learning is a great way to see our skillset grow. I'm still challenged by a lot of the JS stuff but the repetition involved has gotten me to a point I didn't think I would ever get to when I first started SheCodes Plus.

Great workshop! Learning React was both challenging and inspiring. There were many moments that could have easily overwhelmed me (and sometimes did!), but as Matt says, "Take a breath and slow it down." Really enjoyed this workshop, can feel lots of the things I have learnt coming together. I find that I'm recognising errors in my code quicker, working out where mistakes are by methodically going back through the code or recognising that something changed or ammended resulted in the code not working and something that has been replying that Matt said about it being trial and error felt somewhat comforting when I was stuck on a problem and had tried a number of ways to fix it before finding the solution... As always everyone is very supportive in the Slack community, and for the sometimes intense mental challlenge this took out of me, I have a great project at the end that was fin to create.
