As an absolute beginner who finds coding extremely challenging ,this course was a life saver.I did enjoy the lessons especially as i got to code and see result immediately .This course was fun,challenging and at the same time worth doing.I did like to appreciate Matt for his patience while teaching,taking into consideration those who have never coded before. I got a lot of help from the slack community ,amazing coursemate willing to help each time i got stuck.
As someone who had tried and failed to learn coding on my own, this course was such a huge help. I was able to follow along, rewind the parts I was confused about, reach out for help, and felt like I was accomplishing things I had never understood before. Not only does Matt Delac challenge you to experiment, but he shows you how to code in a way that truly helps the concepts make sense.
The course was well structured and so much fun! Matt's step-by-step explanations make the lessons very easy to follow and enjoyable. The challenges and homework tasks were a great opportunity to practise what I've learnt and further deepen my knowledge. I'd definitely recommend this course!

Matt takes the time to show you step by step how to build your project. He also takes the time to explain why things work the way they do. He corrects his own project from video to video when he finds a better solution or understands a mistake he did. It is a very human and interactive way to teach. The challenges can be very frustrating and test your patience but once you find a solution and your project work it is very exciting and gives a Christmas-like feeling🥳 ! Really enjoyed the whole workshop.

I love the way the course was built. Not only you get code snippets and demos, there are also videos with Matt explaining on every topic. The course is really engaging, you get a lot of practise due to the homeworks. What an awesome way of learning code, every challenge is intended to help you grow and learn code step by step, i would recommend this course to everyone as it is detailed, structured and focuses on syntax based in Javascript, HTML and CSS. I learnt so much information but it was not overwhelming as a summary is done to help you progress in each step. Matt is an amazing teacher and i can't wait to get to the next phase.

Matt is amazing, his voice is very nice and make me very interested in everything. Also the lenght of the classes are perfect to me, and I have ADHD and that makes very hard to focus with boring classes. Everything is thought to make code more interesting and colorful, since the amazing teacher to the bright colours to the small challenges at every little new thing we learn make everything very easy and appealing. thank you so much. the Basic is perfect to start with HTML, CSS and JavaScript esssencials. I will be back to do the other workshops because I really enjoyed this course I always gave up on-line courses or take years to finish! this was really a blast.

I did always run away from JS. but this time I think I learn how to use it. of course, there are tons of video out there that talks about JS but it always generalizes the whole concept and not the specific step for someone who just wants to become a front-end developer. and seeing all those codes and not knowing actually where to use them was scary. but, Matt points out what was important at each step and made it easier to understand the whole process. thank you so much.

Before SheCodes, I found coding extremely boring! But Matt and SheCodes team changed that forever. I did it again!! Learning a new skill can be difficult but rewarding. I was hard on myself during these past 8 weeks, trying to push myself to the point I was lacking food and sleep. I had to remind myself that it's okay to take a break, refresh and start again, especially when my code has errors. By clearing my head I was able to take another approach and found the solution. So, it's okay to take a break but giving up is not an option for me. Thanks to Matt and his team for providing so much support during this time.

Really enjoyed this course - it is fairly hard, and doing some extra Youtube or Free Code Camp alongside really helps the learning - it took me a bit longer than normal, but Matt re-covers things we had done in the past which was really helpful. Personally, I think it would be great if Matt added in how to handle the temp change, just so we know how to do it in the most efficient way possible
I'm beyond thrilled with Matt and the entire SheCodes Team! Due to the Slack Community I never felt alone and I'm impressed with the amount of support I had at my fingertips! The small homework assignments kept me engaged and looking forward to learning more. 10/10 would recommend this course for any woman trying to learn Web Development skills.

I have a bit of background in coding but I learned more here in SheCodes than when I was doing this professionally. The lessons are very well paced and the explanations are not lengthy - the Instructor, Matt, goes straight to the point, which I really appreciate. He also does it in a way that's easily understandable. I also like how the exercises are not super serious where it can get intimidating. Rather, it's fun and there's a whole community out there that's willing to help you if you're stuck.

I was surprised by the amount I was able to learn in such a short time! Matt's instruction was clear, easy to follow and fun. I am proud of my final project. No one is kidding about React, it IS hard work, BUT...Matt takes the time to show you step by step how to build it and explains why it works the way it does. He even shows you possible incorrect solutions and why they are not the best choice. It will test your patience but it feels so exciting when you figure the puzzle out! As long as you follow your coding right along his teachings, you WILL succeed :D
