Great course for those looking to get more familiar with coding and front end development. Matt was excellent at explaining each aspect of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The additional resources like Slack were also so helpful when I was stuck!

Matt's advice was solid. He provided valuable insights on job hunting, helping me take the time to explore job leads tailored to my skills. Moreover, the workshop offered a dedicated space to craft a compelling portfolio, which I honestly believe will come in handy in the future.

Rebuilding the weather app in Python this time has been great for consolidating my learning, and building my confidence. Matt's approach makes the learning and challenges so much easier to understand than other ways I've tried to learn to code.

Similar to other final weeks of the Add-on series, Matt walks you through all the steps needed to launch the next project. It reinforces a lot of material we once learned (i.e. html, css, javascript, api integration and ai) without taking a lot of time explaining everything. This greatly improves the 'user experience' (iykyk) as a learner and lets you glide through the information as your memory recalls gets fired up! Glad I completed this course!

Using the knowledge I acquired about responsive websites to build a landing page was incredibly productive. Once again, I saw the project come to life right before my eyes and enjoyed every part of the process. Thank you once more, Matt!

I highly recommend this Python module for beginners to coding as well as programmers/students that have a good grip on front-end web development. I had an incredible amount of fun working with this module and it felt super easy. The lessons are well designed, bite-sized bits of straightforward information. The challenges were an excellent way of practicing each new bit of information learned. Matt's explanation was easy to follow, engaging and encouraging. SheCodes technical assistants on Slack are of great help.

As I continue coding with She Codes, I’ve been able to dive deeper into JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Some topics were a bit challenging, but Matt always broke things down in a way that made them easier to understand. The workshop helped me better grasp the core concepts of web development.

This project was very challenging. I wanted to create my component names, so I wasn't just copying the code directly from Matt's source code to fully understand it. I relied on Athena AI, Claude.ai, and Netlify to debug and fix some of my code. This was helpful when completing the project because I gained a better understanding of some of the components and their interrelated elements.

This is the third course I’ve taken with SheCodes, and I can honestly say I’ve learned so much. The content is clear and easy to follow, and Matt does a great job explaining things step by step, especially when it comes to connecting to an API and understanding the logic behind it. What I really value is that the course doesn’t just give you answers, it encourages you to stay curious and explore different ways of solving things. Like the SheCodes team says, they propose some solutions, but they’re not the only ones. You’re free to go beyond what’s taught, or take it at your own pace and both are totally valid. This course covers a tremendous amount of information. It continues to build on previous information from the Python Basics course. It helped me to take notes as I progressed through the weekly sessions so I could refer to them as I completed the challenges. I think what is most reassuring is that Matt continually emphasizes that it is impossible to remember all the different codes as he walks us through each new learning. He demonstrates 'the process of searching' for ways to solve your coding issue which for a first-time python-learner is essential.

This one's a little bit harder than the basics but it is also more enjoyable. I also noticed that in this course, I have internalized Matt's approach to coding - analyse, do, check, improve, repeat, edit.

What a quick yet informative add-on workshop. I really liked that Matt coded along for the project yet he taught what was happening and why. I really like how there in not just one solution to go about solving the problem and that also helps with not trying to box yourself into coding exactly as shown, but to also find a solution that works for you.

For this workshop I came really confident with my html, css and JavaScript, all thanks to our instructor Matt. I was confident enough to do everything by myself and show off my creativity. I might have gone a little overboard with the styling but I had so much fun building with AI API. I will always be grateful of this great opportunity and I really can't thank SheCodes enough. I am so glad I took 'SheCodes Plus' prior to learning Python. I was familiar with so many of the core functions, thanks to stumbling through JavaScript the previous lesson. Matt often made the mistake of saying JS 'arrays' when referring to PY 'lists'. This was an unintentional blessing because it was hammering in previously learned concepts without trying! Python has a much easier flow than JS, so I enjoyed the ease in that. However, it is its own language, so it requires you to focus. I strongly recommend using the Pomodoro Technique to get through this workshop. Happy coding :)

I have just completed my second week of coding workshops. It has been very interesting and I've learnt so much. Thank you Matt for all the lessons and for making it so easy to understand.

The React Add-on module was another information-packed, fun React module to work with. Matt delivered comprehendible, well structured lessons as always.
