Thanks to Matt and the whole SheCodes team who created detailed and well-explanatory courses and were available to help at any moment along the way, I have gained a solid understanding of coding with JavaScript and React. Within the framework of the workshops, I have built my own portfolio containing various projects. Sometimes it was challenging but always very rewarding! Thank you SheCodes for the knowledge and the great time learning about Front-end Development! Even if this journey has come to an end, I will continue coding with confidence and excitement! Highly recommended to women who want to challenge themselves and start a new career path.

Amazing class. I always though coming from a non-tech background, learning to code will be extremely difficult but going through the basic class at SheCodes helped me to learn easily and also practice with some degree of confidence. I can first hand 100% recommend Shecodes to anyone looking forward to be a great developer but has no prior knowledge. I have been to several online coding programs but have not succeeded in completing any and this is because they’re not beginners’ friendly like most of them usually claim. I cannot stress enough how helpful Shecodes has helped me to explore something that I always thought I wasn’t smart enough to do. Thanks to our instructor, Matt Delac, for being so passionate about what he’s doing and being so willing to share his knowledge, in a way that is really fun to learn and very accessible. I've been curious about coding for quite some time but was too afraid to try it because a lot of the online boot camps offered online can be quite pricey. Although there are some that offer you the option of paying after getting a job, the price will usually still be in the upper thousands. I found SheCodes which has different workshop options and even offer discounts. I decided to take the risk and try it. So far, it's been very fun and enjoyable! The instructor, Matt, does a great job at teaching!
This is the perfect addition after learning the basics! I enjoyed learning about transform and how to make a light/dark theme webpage. This workshop has also inspired some new ideas that I'd like to add to my previous projects. As always, thank you Matt ⚡Looking forward to learning more!
This has been one of my favorites! Always challenging but loved being able to practice the things I've learned in the previous workshops and learn new things guided by Matt.
There is nothing more important than the basics! I was happy to learn about these topics with Matt, and I enjoyed the exercises. In addition, I found the resources and links super valuable for each lesson.
This last workshop (React) was a tough one. But when you get the hang of it, it becomes a lot of fun. I would definetly recommend SheCodes, because it gives you a great roadmap to learn pretty advanced techniques. I have learned a lot and had fun while doing it. Thanks Matt and the team, the support was also very helpful and supportive!

Personally, I find SheCodes React was the most challenging lesson especially the Dictionary App Project. But, the beauty in this is that there's always a room for learning and improving your skills. I always feel motivated to find the solutions for each challenges given in the lessons and aim to provide a creative and user-friendly app . I studied computer science in college about two years ago but eventually dropped the classes because I felt I couldn't understand or keep up with the materials. I must say that the Basic's coding workshop is extremely beginner friendly, efficient, and affordable. Before I almost gave up completely with being able to learn how to code and move forward into tech but now, I have my confidence back! Such a great experience! React is not easy, it's very challenging and difficult to understand, But Matt Delac breaks it into small components, and it is easier to understand! Thank you on SheCodes Team as well been always there for us with all the bugs, compiling errors, or even just on a wrong directory! So much fun, challenges, and most import good time coding!
This has been a very challenging project. This is a great introduction to the world of coding, I had to get used to the disappointment of the code I wrote not always working and to asking for help. I wouldn't say that if I had to do it all over again I would be able to, without the help of tech support and Matt's videos. At the same time I have definitely learned a lot about APIs, Github, Sandbox, and everything else introduced in this workshop.
This is my third workshop with Matt, and I have really enjoyed it. I have learned so much and i also appreciate the format the workshops are in. Highly recommended!

I've learnt programming in university but I've always struggled with it and never felt comfortable doing projects. I recognize my weaknesses so I decided to sign up for the SheCodes Basics course and at first I was a little apprehensive but as the classes progressed I realized that the way Matt explains the theory is quite intuitive, which makes the process a lot easier. The challenges that are also proposed at the end of all classes are essential to consolidate the knowledge I acquired. I really enjoyed the course and will certainly sign up for the next one. It is with great pleasure that I can say that after this course I learned to like programming and it no longer scares me!!

This was my final SheCodes course, and probably the one I enjoyed the most. I had fun learning React and solving problems while working on my two projects. If I were to look back to when I started, I can appreciate how far I got and while my coding journey doesn't end with SheCodes, I'm happy it was a big part of my development into the world of coding. 👩🏻💻 Matt explained the concepts clearly and I would definitely recommend the React course if you already enjoyed vanilla JS.

SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I was a little hesitant at first, as I learnt to code in a statistical software during my masters, but I unfortunately did not enjoy the experience. Nonetheless SheCodes has been an amazing experience. The lessons are very interactive and Matt does an amazing job of breaking down the concepts related to HTML, CSS and Java Script. I loved the fact that staff & students were readily available to support with any questions that I may have regarding my code or certain topics. Iv always been passionate about learning to code as I find it challenging and interesting especially whilst working closely with developers. I just couldn't find the right course however, when heard about 'SheCodes' thought id give it a try. Enrolling was the best thing I did I have already learnt how to code using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and Editor which is great achievement for me. I like the way the course is broken down to small weekly workshops, lessons and homework all of which was easy to grasp.
