I graduated from my SheCodes Basic last year and today it feels amazing to be finish the SheCodes Plus. The project incorporated many of the skills required to build an actual website for a client. It was extremely helpful to watch the instructor, Matt, break down the project into smaller pieces. That in itself is a valuable skill when working on larger projects. It was rewarding to see that the website was responsive on multiple devices. Now I need to go back and make my earlier projects responsive!

As an older learner, I began this course with some trepidation as I remember a time before the internet! Fortunately, Matt's excellent step by step instructions helped me to understand how a page is built, what works and why. I am eager to learn more now that I comprehend the basics.

I loved SheCodes Basics. The short learning videos are almost always accompanied by a practical exercise so it makes it really hands on. I liked that the videos are to-the-point, concise and don't go in too much details. It's not a 3-hour long lecture : after 15min, you're actually getting your hands dirty and learning actionable stuff! For me, it was the reassuring phrases from Matt like "don't worry, nothing's going to explode, it's just not good practice to do it like this" or "this might be confusing but do it like this for now and it'll all come together in the next video" or "ok, this is a hard exercise but you can do it and don't forget the community and tools that can help you" and of course : "Happy coding!".
Joining SheCodes was one the best decisions I have made this year. Matt makes learning the concepts of coding super easy. I had a lot of fun doing the assignments, got stuck several times but the excitement that comes with getting it right is so real, I will highly recommend this for female friends. Thanks

What an incredible adventure and accomplishment! I set out to complete the entire SheCodes Max program in under 90 days and did it in about 82 days! I currently work full-time as a high school Spanish teacher, so I dedicated nights, weekends, and holidays to my SheCodes training. I have learned an incredible amount of information, gained skills, and created a project portfolio to share with prospective employers. I can confidently say that these technologies have transformed the way I create and design websites. Also SheCodes made it easy for having things like palettes and gradients,CSS brings life to the visuals although it requires A little more Practice because that was literally most of my struggle especially because I love good designs, and JavaScript OH MY WORD: it's literally the coolest even though I am so used to Java Annotations I managed to juggle around it from knowing an equal sign to being == to === Interesting. Also for years and years I have been using my laptop however I never knew the short cuts of using emojis , I will sure abuse it for days now, well That's just me But on the Reals now, HTML is pretty much straight forward the trick comes to making your visuals more Fascinating by using CSS...but Overall Matt Delac makes it easy and fun These technologies are the cornerstone of modern web development, and I look forward to exploring their endless possibilities in future projects.

SheCodesBasics is a great introduction to programming. Matt makes it easy to understand and makes sure you develop stage by stage. His material is easy to understand and there is always help whenever you get stuck. This has been a very exciting and educating 3weeks.
