SheCodes Plus Responsive was great fun and I learned a lot! Matt's videos are great and he demonstrates everything in a clear and easy to follow manner. Building the portfolio website was challenging at times, but it was great to put the learning into practice and really rewarding to have the end product. I enjoyed having the freedom to get creative and put my own spin on Matt's design. Highly recommend giving the Responsive workshop a try!
I would highly recommend She Codes to anyone whether or not you are a beginner in coding or have some experience. Although I had experience in Java and Python, I decided to enroll in She Codes because I'm always looking to improve my coding skills and also wanted to gain skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Matt is also a great instructor and his teaching skills are very great making the course super easy to follow. The She Codes team was always available for help with homework if needed as well. Overall, I would highly recommend She Codes!

I learned so much so quickly on this course! There was a lot to cover, and I really liked the fact that there were 2 projects, so by the time I completed the dictionary project I felt that I had a very good understanding of the basics (and plenty of the more complex concepts too). Wow, what an amazing course! I enjoyed it from start to finish, which I'm surprised to say, given that tech wasn't something I ever thought I'd be interested in or good at. I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed by how straightforward and simple each workshop was, everything was really easy to digest, and I never felt overwhelmed by the subject matter. I'm so happy with SheCodes that I'm going to explore signing up to SheCodes Plus or React in the near future. I can't recommend this course enough -- if you're hesitant about it, or think coding wouldn't be right for you, please give the Basics one a try at the very least, as I don't think you'll regret it!

Prior to starting SheCodes, I had no coding experience nor knew if it was something I'd enjoy, but Matt's videos are fun and super easy to follow. The challenges in between lessons are a perfect test of what was just learned. Even if I didn't grasp a concept initially, I could always go back and watch the lessons; even from previous modules. What I really enjoyed is I could watch the videos and do my homework from anywhere in the world, on my own time. I am also grateful for the amazing SheCodes team who were quick, kind and patient when answering questions. Thanks!!

Another great workshop! It was interesting to not only learn how to rebuild my vanilla JS weather project using the new skills that we learned for React, but to be able to build a whole other Dictionary project as well. As always, Matt's lessons were easy to follow along, and made learning the advanced concepts less intimidating.

I had always thought that coding and programming languages were so difficult and totally unlearnable, but only 3 weeks in my coding journey and I can't believe I am totally killing it! SheCodes Basic was such a fantastic course and a really affordable way to find out if coding is right for you. I never thought it would be right for me, but after taking the free 1 hour workshop Matt offers, I understood the basics of coding, for the first time ever! He is such a great teacher and really makes difficult concepts seem so easy and he gives lots of amazing tips. I also love the mix of bite-size lessons and hands-on activities which really helped consolidate my understanding. Would 100% recommend it!!

Honestly I had no idea how to code prior to SheCodes academy. It was like a really complex foreign language (I'm talking about you, Deutsch), but turns out I can make a website of my own and a nice looking one. The lessons are no longer than 20 minutes, so you won't get tired, and you can either watch the lesson and then get to coding or you can practice step by step with Matt. Super convenient 👌 Thank you so much, Matt and SheCodes team!

SheCodes Plus was much challenging as compared to SheCodes Basic. Even then, the advantage of SheCodes courses is that we can re-watch the videos, and we are able to get great help from the SheCodes Team on the Slack channel, who answer our questions ever so patiently and promptly. It is also great that Matt will explain the rationale behind certain concepts and some good practices, rather than just step-by-step theory. It is a sense of achievement and joy when we see the codes work properly! Lastly, it is inspiring and fun to browse the projects of other students! Thank you SheCodes Team!
I enjoyed taking this workshop. Matt explains everything in much detail and he is easy to follow. I was able to work at my own pace and received much help from classmates and SheCodes staff through Slack. All reference material was accessible at the press of a button if I ever found myself stuck in any particular section of my projects. This workshop was easy to follow, easy to complete, fun, informative, innovative, and encouraging.

I loved my learning experience with SheCodes! Matt is a great instructor, you can tell he has led the course already by the way he explains areas where students typically have questions or get hung up, which I really appreciated. He was able to anticipate confusion which shows that Matt and the team are in touch with students and where common struggles are happening. The Slack channel came in handy when I needed to see other people's work to compare to my own when I was getting stuck. I love how organized the content was and how thorough each lesson was given. I hope SheCodes continues to create new courses and offer additional learning opportunities as the industry evolves!
