I have actually managed to create my own Weather App, fully functional and everything! Learning API calling and integration was the most fun of all. Matt's videos are so impressively thought through in that he helps you build code one piece at a time and make connections between functions in the same way the mind tries to see patterns. It was my second course after SheCodes Basic. Generally, I like it. Matt's video are rather simple and clear. If you have problems with homework (students have them always 😅) you can always to get help from tech.assistants in Slack. Thanks to all SheCodes team! I like coding more and more, course by course 😀. I will continue to learn how to code definitely. It's fascinating 😋

I had a blast learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript throughout the Basics course. Matt did an excellent job explaining things, showing alternative ways to do something, and reminding us that it is okay if things get challenging. I really enjoyed using the developer tools to check my work, as this was something I wasn't even aware of. I also liked the exercise where we had to figure out how many people were on the SheCodes website. Everything was very user friendly and accessible. Thank you and I am excited to take more courses!

Loved Plus! It was great making a functional website that generates real time weather data using an API. Matthieu's instructional style is great, the staff on Slack are so helpful and patient. I really enjoyed learning from Matt. He made the concepts easy and fun to learn. I love all the emojis everywhere too haha! 😂 Each lesson was a good length, and the challenges were rewarding to figure out and complete. Every time I sat down to go through some lessons and challenges, I just kept going and going, getting through more than I thought I could in one sitting. I liked listening to SheCodes Radio while coding too. I think my brain really loved learning to code; I got to be creative and logical at the same time! SheCodes has blown all of my expectations out of the water! As someone who has never coded a day in her life, I found the lessons to be straightforward and easy to follow along. It was useful and interesting. Creating something from a scratch was a great experience. Matt is amazing, I like how easy and clearly he can explain difficult topics.
SheCodes Plus pushed me to my limit and further! There were quite a few times where I wanted to give up but I went back and rewatched Matt's videos as many times as it took until the concept stuck and I could replicate or make changes on my own. Seeing my fully functioning weather app after only a few weeks of lessons and knowing I can add or change anything I want is such an amazing feeling! I can't wait to move onto Responsive and see what comes next.
I loved taking this course! I am excited to continue learning with SheCodes. The instructor, Matt, made learning the material fun. I really appreciated how each challenge continues to re-expose you to the previous skills and build on them. Learning each concept in chunks and getting practice with the challenges really helped me retain the information.
Definitely in love with the course and an opportunity to learn coding. This JS course was challenging and hard but worth all the efforts. You are learning to build an app step by step and also at the end you can see how Matt created the project from scratch and it really helps to see your mistakes and to improve your code. I've been self-teaching front end development for the past 2 years, and realised the need for a really good program that would take me from "knowing nothing" to actually understanding what I was learning and build my skills. After searching for a good, structured, international and flexible coding program that made learning engaging and fun with a good support system for almost just as long, I happened to come across SheCodes. I love that it's for women, and the Customer Success team was very helpful in answering all my questions before I decided to signup. Matt is great with giving bite-sized lessons without the information being overwhelming, and the Technical Team has been really helpful whenever I get stuck with the challenges. I'm looking forward to completing the other workshops!

A very useful course for those who have zero knowledge in this area. Matt explains everything in detail and interestingly presents information. When I signed up, I was afraid that it would be difficult to complete the course because of the language of instruction, because my English is quite mediocre. But the fears were in vain! I recommend this course to beginners!
I have split feelings about reaching the end of my SheCodes journey! On one hand I am proud of my accomplishment but on the other hand I am sad that I have no more challenges to do! I have really enjoyed learning all about coding and in particular, React. The videos have been clear and very informative, I love Matt's style of teaching, and if I've ever had a problem the SheCodes team have been on hand to help and are so kind and supportive with it too . I have found my new passion and I'm so keen to continue with my own independent learning in the hopes of becoming a React Developer at some point. I have completed "SheCodes Responsive"!! Wow! It has been a long journey since I started "SheCoded Basics". I had never learned how to code until I started taking this workshop on SheCodes and never imagined that I would be ever able to code, but now looking at what I have been working on including my own website, which I have created as a final project of SheCodes Responsive, I feel much more confident with my skills and I can see lots of potential in myself which I have never seen thanks to SheCodes, Matt Delac, and SheCodes' wonderful informative professional team!
I knew absolutely nothing about coding before I started, so to be able to write code and see it come to life has been amazing. The feeling you get when the code is correct and it all comes together is worth it! Matt's style of teaching is really easy to follow and comprehend :)

I have been self-learning via different channels like youtube, Udemy and other online schools. Matt is the one I would recommend as his instructions are very clear and easy to understand for laymen.
