I thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes Plus workshop though it was very challenging. The course was well presented. I recently completed the SheCodes Plus coding workshop, and I can’t recommend it enough! Over the course of 8 lessons, we built an interactive global weather app—an awesome hands-on project that really brought everything together. While continuing to build on our HTML and CSS skills, we took a deeper dive into JavaScript and APIs, which was such an exciting step forward. I give so much credit to SheCodes for the way they’ve developed these workshops. Matt does an incredible job explaining the why behind what we’re learning, laying a strong foundation that truly sticks. The program also provides tons of helpful resources that I know I’ll be referring back to throughout my coding journey. One of the most fun parts for me was working with APIs. I had experience collaborating with developers on API configurations in a previous role, but actually being the developer this time around was a whole new (and super empowering) experience. It reminded me exactly why I decided to take the leap into coding. SheCodes really is setting us up for success, and I’m so glad to be part of this community!

Joining this coding bootcamp has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've learned so much. Matt is an incredible instructor. The assignments really helped solidify everything I learned. Never felt this fulfillment with coding, the lessons are well crafted making every element easy to follow. It took me a while to get into it, but then I really enjoyed it. Matt explains everything really well and I think it's great that you can put everything into practice straight away. I'm excited to see what the other courses are like and I'm looking forward to them.

Python has been an incredible experience for me, a totally new language to learn and I thoroughly enjoyed it ,Matt's knowledge and mentoring accelerated my progress faster than I ever expected. I am so glad to have been able to complete this next step with Matts video guidance as well as the help of the SheCodes tools. This project was a little difficult but definitely not impossible. Another great module to learn and work with. Having worked on a weather app using vanilla JS in the earlier modules makes me really appreciate tools like React. Well structured lessons and a great useful project to work on . As always, Matt did a fantastic job as a teacher. SheCodes is an amazing platform! Matt went through the concepts step by step, and when I was confused, I could ask for assistance on Slack. Very fun experience! Matt is an amazing teacher! It can be quite challenging at times, but Matt makes everything easy to understand.

I was unsure if anything connected to front-end developing would interest me or if I would be able to understand all of that. But I am happy that I gave it a chance. Matt explains very well, it is great that we can re-watch the videos,have often a small homework to do which helps us to learn steadily, have a supporting community, find out what resources we can use and how and I love that it is adaptable to your own time and schedule. Despite very busy work and all the stress connected with moving, I have been able to finish, have found a new joy and will surely continue :)

I don't think I've ever had so much fun learning as I have with SheCodes! Usually academics feel like such a chore but with this course, I feel excited learning on this platform. Matt's approach to teaching works with everybody, even those who haven't faired well with academics in the past or those with special needs.

Learnt a lot in such a short amount of time - it was definitely frustrating at points but there was a wealth of information on Slack that really helped and the SheCodes team are always on point in responding in a timely manner. This course was definitely challenging as a 'newbie'. Matt does not always tell you the 'why' behind everything which as an educator is just as important as the 'how'. However, he explains that the logic will start to 'click' through repetition with which code or string goes where which is part of your problem-solving developer skillset. You start to recognize the process of why programming logic functions as it does. I appreciate that he walks us through each step and corrects his own errors as they occur. It adds some humor and humanity to the learning process. It's not only a relief when your code works but very satisfying!

Each workshop has been a great experience - I've learned so much and truly appreciate this platform and Matt as our instructor! With coding (and life), you are bound to make mistakes so I appreciate having this platform to be able to do just that and keep growing.
