This week was full of challenges and growth for me. Understanding and getting used to adding a grid and different themes took a long time, but I’m really glad I got there eventually. SheCodes Python has taught me how to create my first back-end project and it was really easy to understand and follow which i thought would be difficult since I am used to learning front end material.

The SheCodes React course was an intense and incredibly rewarding experience. It truly stretched my mental boundaries and pushed me to think like a developer. Building a fully functional dictionary app from scratch, complete with API integrations for both definitions and images, felt like a monumental task at first. But the step-by-step guidance and hands-on projects gave me the tools and confidence to bring it to life. I'm so proud of the application I built and feel genuinely equipped with practical, in-demand skills.

SheCodes Add-on was fun and engaging, helping me strengthen and expand my coding skills while bringing a real project to life. The more I practice, the easier it becomes to understand new concepts, and the more confident I feel applying them to my projects. I’m excited to keep building and learning!

I just completed the SheCodes Plus, Plus AI, and Plus Add-On workshops. Across these modules I went from writing basic scripts to shipping real, user interface tools. In SheCodes Plus, I built a fully interactive weather app with forecast data and learned modern ES6 patterns, API integration, and Git/GitHub workflows. In SheCodes Plus AI, I learned practical prompt design and integrated an AI API to build my Corporate AI Translator, focusing on clean UX, loading states, and accessibility. In SheCodes Plus Add-On, I developed a World Clock with live time zones (the most challenging one so far) using timezone libraries and interval updates for real time accuracy. What I valued most: Hands-on projects, clear instructor guidance, and feedback from the SheCodes community. I’m leaving with stronger JavaScript fundamentals, confidence working with APIs, and a portfolio I’m proud to share. Thank you, SheCodes!

What a journey it has been. It has been the longest, best 8 weeks. It has been such a rewarding experience for me. I had little to no confidence in my coding abilities, but sheCodes gave me a clear path to follow. The lessons were practical, easy to follow. I never imagined myself building anything with my skills, but the projects and challenges really pushed me to apply what I was learning, and I am really proud of my progress in coding thus far.

This course was challenging but I truly learned a lot! Moments.js is a game changer in regards to dates and times. It helped to ease the amount of coding (a little bit!). Overall great course and my world clock project is very cool.

Learning API integration and JavaScript was a rewarding experience. Using GitHub for version control made collaboration and tracking changes easy, while hosting my project on Netlify provided a seamless deployment process. The combination of these tools helped me build and share my weather app efficiently, and I gained valuable skills in web development and cloud hosting along the way.

Such an incredible experience! Through this program, I built my very first interactive web application using artificial intelligence — something I never imagined I could do before. The lessons gave me a solid foundation on what AI is, how it works and I gained practical skills like writing prompts and giving clear instructions to AI tools such as ChatGPT. I also learned how to integrate an AI API into my code and even created an interactive text generator powered by AI. On top of that, I sharpened my web development skills by discovering how to integrate CSS directly into JavaScript. This program didn’t just teach me concepts — it gave me the confidence to bring them to life in a real project. I now feel more prepared to continue exploring AI and web development and I’m excited about the opportunities ahead

I really enjoyed the Basics Add-on Graduation section. I learned so much and was able to focus my final project on an idea I’ve always wanted: creating my own personal travel blog. I loved the process and found all the lessons very useful. I’m excited to keep learning!

This was a huge Project, there was so much new information to sort through-I can't lie... it was really overwhelming. However I am so proud of all the new skills I have acquired and I have a better understanding of what it will take to become a front-end developer.

As a beginner coder, building this Salsa webpage has been such an exciting learning journey. This project helped me understand how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together to create a real, interactive website. With HTML, I learned to structure my page with headings, images, and buttons. Using CSS, I styled everything — adding colors, hover effects, and even a dark theme that makes the page look modern. The most exciting part was using JavaScript to bring the page to life: when I click the button, the background theme changes, and the ‘Learn Salsa’ button interacts with the user by asking their name and details. At first, I struggled with small mistakes like typos and selecting the right button, but fixing those helped me gain confidence in debugging and problem-solving. This project showed me that even as a beginner, I can already create something fun, interactive, and meaningful. It’s proof that with just the basics of web development, you can build a working application that feels professional. I’m really proud of how far I’ve come!

The hands-on projects, clear explanations, and real-world examples made learning JavaScript, HTML, and CSS both fun and practical. I especially loved the repetition method, which was really helpful for JavaScript, it can be tricky to understand at first, but after revisiting each topic in multiple lessons, everything started to make sense.

I have no prior experience in coding, and my profession specialises in a totally different field. I decided to enrol in this course to develop skills and gain knowledge in technology, which is becoming an important part of our everyday life. I want to prepare myself to take on tech-related opportunities that may arise in the future. I want to have career pathway options and secure my future. I just finished the SheCodes Basics, and I know that I have a long way to go. But this course has been fun and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed the activities, and working on my final project was fun and satisfying. This is just the beginning. I am looking forward learning more!

What I learned the most in this course is that 'default' and 'devault' may rhyme in German, but in JavaScript they rhyme with undefined (just kidding). Like Matt said at the end of SheCodes Plus, the project itself may look simple, but the journey it's a little bit more complicated than that. Along with SheCodes training, I watched support material, burned through all my hosting credits, which led me to a side quest through CloudFlare setup training + GitHub repo literacy. In the end, my little vanilla weather app not only works, it also gained much more confidence, each bug fixed, each feature added made the whole process feel more real.

This year I wanted a way to capture and share memories from an upcoming camp without relying on others for photos. That idea sparked something bigger. I thought, why not create an app where everyone can collect and share their pictures in a fun, interactive way? But the problem was, I didn’t know how to code. I could design on Canva, but building an app felt impossible, especially since I couldn’t afford to hire someone. So I started looking into web design programs and discovered SheCodes, and signed up. Now, I’m close to finishing my app using everything I’ve learned. I love that SheCodes lets me work at my own pace but still keeps me accountable with project deadlines. Even when I wasn’t ready, I could ask for extensions instead of giving up.I’m so glad I chose this platform it’s made learning to code both accessible and enjoyable.

The SheCodes Plus AI was an amazing experience! It helped me strengthen my coding skills and gain more confidence in building real projects. I really enjoyed the structured lessons and hands-on challenges, and I’m grateful for how much I’ve grown through the program.

I just graduated from the SheCodes React bootcamp, and I’m thrilled. The hands-on projects, clear explanations of hooks and state, and fast feedback on code finally made React “click” for me. I shipped a polished app (deployed and everything), built confidence with APIs, and learned best practices I can reuse at work. The community was kind, the pace was focused, and the curriculum was practical from day one. I’m leaving with a portfolio piece and the momentum to keep building.
