I found this workshop excitingly challenging. The explanations, as all the previous workshops, were easy to follow and very insightful. The project was a great way to get hands on exposure, which I think is the best way to learn something that seems so complicated. Thank you so much SheCodes team, I loved this experience.
This course is great. You are provided with all the necessary tools and knowledge to successfully complete all tasks. The video explains all the material very clearly and simply. If you get stuck, you can always ask for help in the chat. I liked the final project the most because it is an opportunity to once again put into practice all the skills acquired during the course and create your own web page.
I absolutely loved She Codes Basics! As a music teacher who has been in public education for the past 12 years, I was really nervous going into the workshop with no experience in tech. But Matt is a wonderful teacher and I found myself excited for the lessons and surprised by myself at quickly being able to create projects using html, css, and java. I am looking forward to She Codes Plus!
Definitely more challenging than the previous course, but I feel like I've learned so much about working with JavaScript, and I'm incredibly proud of my final project as it's not anything I would have dreamed I could have created a few short months ago.
Love the new option to add-on more projects. The basics add-on was a good refresh with opportunity to learn new HTML and CSS techniques before diving deeper into coding journey.

This is a really good course for an introduction to HTML, CSS and Javascript. The videos are very easy to follow along with enough time to complete all lessons and projects. At first, it was a bit tricky considering a semicolon was the difference between completion and some 30 minutes spent in complete confusion but once I recognized those small peculiarities and learned from them, the final project was very manageable and everything fell into place very smoothly.
So cool to know that you did it by yourself. Thank you very much. This project is amazing
This is the end of SheCodes Responsive. I want to say a huge thank you to Matt for this project. This is a rather soft and capacious course. It let me get a lot of basic pieces of knowledge in front-end development in my free time. It was very interesting.

It was a well-designed course. Over the weeks I built my meteorology project, step-by-step, to understand and consolidate the given material. It was a more challenging course, I had an easier time with HTML5 and CSS3 than with JS. Along the way I had a mix of emotions, enthusiasm, and frustration, but in the end, it was enriching. Excellent work to the entire SheCodes team.

These weeks were very challenging, there are still many things I need to work on JavaScript, but I feel proud I got it until this point. I totally recommend going down this path, it helps you not only professionally, but personally, since you develop logic skills you could also apply on a daily basis. I will definitely continue with the next project to keep on improving my coding skills to hopefully boost my professional profile and get where I want to be. I really enjoy the part where I am coding and I can see it's working (it's stressful when it does not work LOL), but once you see the results, it's all worth it.
This add-on to the Basics class was great! Matt walked through additional ways to create and design a website. This extra project gave me the extra experience I needed.

SheCodes React is a highly practical-oriented course, where we get ReactJS coding experience. As a result, we prepared two full-fledged projects and gained practical skilles.
This has been my favorite SheCodes workshop yet! Would absolutely recommend it. It was extremely fun to design and create my own portfolio. This also provides a great way to easily share your work and projects with other professionals. It's a great resource to keep after the workshop is finished.

Nice and simple little project. I enjoyed working on the project and I learned some new things this week. I really like how Matt explains different techniques, he is not just showing you how he codes but he explains the logic behind it.
This was a very challenging but very fun to make! I've had so much hiccups here and there and got frustrated at times but the final project made everything worth it.

My very first coding projectβa simple but structured portfolio page to showcase my work. I focused on clean HTML semantics and CSS styling, including flexbox for layout. Though basic, this project gave me the foundation to understand how websites are built from the ground up. Skills Applied: HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, responsive basics

This course has helped me improve my understanding of JavaScript, which is the coding element that I was struggling to wrap my head around. I feel really proud of my final project and would never have thought I would be able to build, having only learnt to code for such a short time. I found more confidence in using Visual Studio Code, CodeSandBox, Git and GitHub, and I also found the SheCode team very helpful on slack if I needed guidance. I'm now looking forward to the following two courses.

This has been a very challenging project. This is a great introduction to the world of coding, I had to get used to the disappointment of the code I wrote not always working and to asking for help. I wouldn't say that if I had to do it all over again I would be able to, without the help of tech support and Matt's videos. At the same time I have definitely learned a lot about APIs, Github, Sandbox, and everything else introduced in this workshop.
It has been a great challenge! The final project was fun to work on and I am excited to keep learning more.

I've learnt programming in university but I've always struggled with it and never felt comfortable doing projects. I recognize my weaknesses so I decided to sign up for the SheCodes Basics course and at first I was a little apprehensive but as the classes progressed I realized that the way Matt explains the theory is quite intuitive, which makes the process a lot easier. The challenges that are also proposed at the end of all classes are essential to consolidate the knowledge I acquired. I really enjoyed the course and will certainly sign up for the next one. It is with great pleasure that I can say that after this course I learned to like programming and it no longer scares me!!
This was my final SheCodes course, and probably the one I enjoyed the most. I had fun learning React and solving problems while working on my two projects. If I were to look back to when I started, I can appreciate how far I got and while my coding journey doesn't end with SheCodes, I'm happy it was a big part of my development into the world of coding. π©π»βπ» Matt explained the concepts clearly and I would definitely recommend the React course if you already enjoyed vanilla JS.
Shecodes responsive was an excellent workshop for learning basic responsive design and SEO techniques. It does not focus much on javascript, although you can add your little twist to the end project and include some JS if you wish to. I liked that it also gave a quick intro to commonly used tools, such as Figma, and it also did a recap on other concepts we learned on Shecodes plus.
Interesting and exciting task to create a real project. It inspires to learn more to be able to create such things. Good explanations guide you through step by step and help to understand how it works and created. Can't wait to continue my journey in the world of Web developing. Thanks a lot for such opportunity!
