The Basic's Add On course really helped me take the fundamentals learned in the primary course and take them to the next level. I feel like the additional project and the structure provided helped reinforce all the fundamentals through practice!

I really enjoyed the basics add-on course! It was really fun to build my project alongside my classes this time, as it broke down a large undertaking into smaller, manageable sections. Not only did I get to practice and use what I'd learned previously in the basics course, I got to build upon them and further develop my skills which I got to showcase in my project. It was great for building confidence and fun to build a more sophisticated landing page, it was visual evidence of my skills developing and I loved it.

A fantastic course for beginners! I remembered bits of coding from my earlier years which helped with the challenges. But I really loved learning the CSS and Javascript within the basics course. Matt explained everything thoroughly and he encourages learners to go out and look for coding by checking the source codes on various websites to get answers, ideas and inspiration. I have a full time job as a project analyst and a child to look after and I found 1 week was ample time to complete the lessons and challenges! SheCodes Plus course, here I come!
Prior to this workshop, I had no experience working with AI APIs or writing AI prompts. Instructor Matt did an excellent job of breaking down the concepts in order to make them easily understandable. The final project was a lot of fun and tied everything together nicely.

In this workshop I'll learned how to create a functioning weather app by injecting real time data in my project using more complex javascript, API and hosting. It was 8 challenging and difficult weeks, but it's very satisfying when you're able to build a complex project from scratch using quite advanced and sophisticated techniques.

Creating things from scratch is one of many things I’m passionate about, and being able to do it through coding has been an exciting journey. Creating dark mode was a challenge at first, but I flew through it at the end! Great project, I had fun designing this.
I didn't have much experience with AI before this course but the course was very informative and easy to follow which made building the project exciting.
I came in with very basic knowledge of html and css so as a beginner I thought the course was good in helping me build in to what I already know. The ask athena function was very nice and having the solution to help guide my own solution was good as sometimes I became so stuck I had to leave the project alone to come back with fresh eyes.

The course was great, particularly in the areas of creating intuitive menus and developing responsive websites. What stood out to me was the course's practical approach - it wasn't just about learning theory but also applying it to real-world projects. This hands-on experience culminated in the initiation of my own portfolio website, a tangible testament to my newfound skills. This course is a step up compared to the previous ones and definitely tries to push you out of your comfort zone but the SheCodes team is always supportive in case we get stuck. I am grateful for the solid foundation SheCodes has provided and excited about the endless possibilities in my coding journey ahead.

The React workshop was definitely much harder than the previous ones, but thanks to Matt's guidance and structure, I was able to follow along at my own pace and digest the information. I really enjoy being able to follow along with Matt as we work on our project together.
