This course helped me to understand HTML and I am now confident with basic documents. By doing the coding exercises and submitting the homeworks, you actively use the things you learned and in the end you are proud of yourself of what you can achieve in just 3 weeks on the side. Throughout the bootcamp, each lesson was thoughtfully structured to cover advanced concepts in web development. The hands-on approach, with challenges at the end of every lesson, pushed me to apply what I had learned immediately. One aspect that truly stood out was the commitment to practical learning. The homework assignments at the end of each week were challenging yet rewarding. They allowed me to solidify my understanding of the material and provided an opportunity to showcase my newly acquired skills The pinnacle of the bootcamp was the Weather App project. This comprehensive project brought together all the skills I had acquired during the course. From designing a user-friendly interface with HTML and CSS to implementing dynamic functionality using JavaScript and integrating weather data through APIs, the project was a testament to the comprehensive nature of the curriculum.
I enjoyed working on this project very much, it was very engaging and creative and I found myself wanting to learn more about how to do further customizations to engage viewers. I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!

I learned a lot in this round of Responsive. It took a lot of trial and error but it all came together in the end. I like that Matt walks you through each phase of the project.
This was such a fun project! I was a bit out of practice due to just having a baby, and this was just what I needed to reinvigorate my passion for coding.

It's super fun and interactive, the whole course is broken down into small sections that allows you to digest everything and go back over if you need. The challenges have been great and the final project was exciting (was great to be able to do a subject of your choosing), it allows you to play around with code and really explore and learn. Basics add-on is the perfect class to take in between basics and SheCodes Plus. It gave me a chance to refresh my memory on what we learned in basics, add a few more skills, and easily create a project worth showing. I love SheCodes! This one was quite challenging with very dense information. I think it could've been spread out more into different themes/focuses with more gradual homework tasks towards the final project. Also The errors and experiments with the live coding were confusing. I would've much preferred a redo version. I also think the documentation is not always compatible with the material featured in the learning videos.
This course was fun, packed with information, and the pacing is just perfect! I found very quick help whenever I was stuck. In just three weeks, I learned new skills, and more importantly, I was taught how to research by myself how to do new things. I enjoyed building my final project so much. I can't wait to keep going !

The Basic add on is a great way to practice the skills that you just learned in the basics class and to add another project to your portfolio! This was a very fun class to learn some new skills, putting them all together to create a project!
I absolutly loved doing the AI Add-on, the learning was as with the previous ones I've done very easy to follow, the challenges were incredibly helpful for putting into practice what I had just learnt and I found that I was noticing little errors in my work quicker and logically working out why something was not working. I really REALLY recommend this course, I had a lot of fun with the end project and wanted to make something that showed some of my Irish heritage, with my cheeky personality added in but also something that made people smile! Check out my project even if its just to add two minutes of sillyness to your day! Have fun with this project if you go on to do it! 😁
Although this course had a bit of a learning curve, it definitely was rewarding to see the final project come to life and pulling real-time data (that worked!). Overall, I am very satisfied with the course and pace... and now I can take these skills and continue building for more complex projects down the line.

I will just list 3 things I love about this workshops - and also 3 reasons why you should participate immediately :) Project-based learning: We weren't just learning theory; we were putting it into practice by building real-world projects from day one. Most of the assignments link to the final project. Supportive community: The SheCodes community is truly special. Everyone on Slack was incredibly supportive and encouraging. Athena AI was incredible too! Flexible learning: The workshop was offered online, which allowed me to fit it around my busy schedule. I could learn at my own pace, I was busy for my uni finals so I quit for about 1 month and when I came back everything was just like before. All in all, I'm grateful for the SheCodes experience. It's opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me, and I'm excited to see what I can achieve next.

i was recommended to shecodes by my cousin who also completed a course with them. i had recently developed a curiosity for coding and thought that doing this course would definitely be a good intro and i was not wrong. this three week course has taught me so much and i feel i am ready to create my own website as the first project in my portfolio, and hopefully from there many more projects and languages. thank you shecodes :)

I love that you can just work on the same project you developed previously if you want to, as it helps making the connections between using vanilla JS versus a framework. The responsive website project is really well made and important for a developer to learn and here they go step by step through it, helping us feel more secure to create another similar project by ourselves.
I started this journey from zero, as a literally complete beginner with no prior coding experience and without an IT background. However, Matt has been an incredibly helpful mentor. It was very interesting learning how to code. At times it was a bit challenging like completing the project but entirely it was a pleasurable experience.

I did few coding modules in my first year in university, and I found it challenging and disliked it then, but after I joined SheCodes workshop, I fell in love with coding. It is beginner friendly, fun, easy to understand and I am enjoying the projects. to Mattieu Delac, thank you for building such a platform.
SheCodes is one love. Every next workshop gives some new information and skills. Making a web application mobile-friendly is essential nowadays. I'd like to highlight things I liked the most about SheCodes courses: 1) on recorded videos you can see that Matt could mistype or make some mistakes, then he thinks how to correct them, how to improve how web page looks - and it's great that students are able to see real work of front-end developer, not an ideal scenario. It inspires 2) during Responsive workshop students were able to select one of three available option of design for the final project. And I would say nobody was restricted to follow them with 100% accuracy. I like that combination of freedom and template 3) as a result of every workshop a student has a final result that could be shared with friends and colleagues by just sending a link to web page!
This project was challenging but I feel now I've got a better idea of what can be done with JavaScript. Hopefully now I can go forward with writing cleaner code. I am excited to keep going and growing in coding confidence!
