Before enrolling in SheCodes, I had little to no experience in coding. The SheCodes Basic Certification program was not only informative but also highly engaging. The mix of video lessons, coding challenges, and hands-on projects allowed me to grasp the concepts effectively. I recently completed the responsive class, and I can confidently say that it has been a transformative experience for me. This class not only provided me with valuable coding skills but also opened up a world of creativity and endless possibilities in the realm of web development. From the very beginning, the class was well-structured and tailored for students of all levels, from beginners like me to more experienced coders. My instructor Matt Delac was not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about web development, which made the learning process engaging and enjoyable. One of the aspects that I found most beneficial was the hands-on approach to learning. The class incorporated numerous practical exercises and projects that allowed me to apply what I learned immediately. Through homework, projects I got from the SheCodes team, helped me understand coding that it wasn't that difficult as I thought.
This workshop was definitely a challenge for me, but it was very educational and easy to follow. It was very interesting learning how to recreate a previous project but changing it up by creating it using React.

SheCodes was a good workshop for me as I have already learned how to code in school but never really understood why to use a certain element or how to use JavaScript functions. Even after delaying for months finishing up the lessons and projects, I have recently found myself going through everything fast as the lessons are very straightforward and fun, it has given me the motivation to get into coding again after a long burnout, therefore I do recommend it to anyone who has an interest or has been having difficulties on learning how to code.

I enjoyed working on this project. The most challenging part however happened to be the HTML tables.
I had zero knowledge of coding and thought that you needed to be good at maths. I quickly found out that you don't. SheCodes Basics is very easy to understand and fun way to get into coding. Through homeworks, challenges, projects and the help I got from the SheCodes team, helped me understand coding basics and that it wasn't that difficult as I thought. I don't regret a second choosing SheCodes. Best investment I have done in my life. I do HIGHLY reccomend it. I want to thank Matt and the SheCodes team for everything. Keep the good work up! As a coding newbie this has been challenging but so much fun! It's a great start to learning the basics. I love the small, focused steps of learning with application tasks throughout the week followed by a more challenging application task at the end of the week. The scaffolding of the learning is fantastic with learners signposted to lots of resources to help them. While my end of unit project won't win any design awards, I'm so proud of what I have learned in just 3 weeks!
This has been my very first experience with Coding. The best part of coding to me is to see the results of your work straight away. I love that I have now learnt how to create the basics of a website and I have really enjoyed seeing this first project from start to finish. I am really looking forward to continuing to the next level with SheCodes! 😀
I really enjoyed this workshop - you learn a lot of cool things in a short amount of time. The structure of the course is great and I like how all the lessons before it are then used to create the final project which really helps build the coding skills into your muscle memory.
I was very much looking forward to my SheCodes Max experience in hopes of transitioning into a new career as a front-end developer in the future. I had a positive experience in the basics course ( although I did wonder if they would actually give detailed support and feedback on your progress going forward) as this didn't appear to be present in spite of the website and course outlines claiming that feedback, support and homework reviews are a part of the courses. It seems they use the basics course to lure people into paying for the larger courses without then delivering on quality and support or content and then hit you with their discreet "NO REFUND" policy if you question their lack of delivery on their service promises. The course was shockingly poor with absolutely zero support available. The course encourages you to copy and paste code into your solutions, for homework and projects and the team do not care if you understand the material. I struggled through 9 weeks all the while asking for support and explanations and all I got in response was invalidating and patronising responses from the so-called customer success team. I put in 35 hours plus per week to try and understand the content, doing my own research online and buying books. I knew I could not successfully achieve my outcomes with this course platform to become a front-end developer without any support or tutors to help me. The videos were outdated from 2015 which also made learning the content even more confusing. They have x2 technicians who are supposed to answer questions on Slack of 100's of students, responses coming hours and days later with simple responses asking you to copy and paste code with no explanations to help you understand. I asked for a refund as I paid £1084 for SheCodes Max and had not learned anything in 9 weeks. I was hit with the company's hidden "NO REFUND POLICY" Be careful! I did manage to get them to return some of the money but still wasted almost £500 on 9 weeks of hard work, struggling alone to gain nothing at the end of it but back and forth invalidating communication from the team. I will not recommend this course or company to people who seriously want to learn coding.

The Responsive Course does a great job outlining how to make your code look great on all devices. I really enjoyed working on the final project and found it very useful as I'm now using it for my job hunt.

I learned a lot from SheCodes. The fact that every class is followed by a challenge is really great to put our knowledge on use. I used to find programming logic really difficult but the classes and the project helped me to understand the logic of the functions and how everything falls into place on the code. I watched other programming courses before but this one is the one that helped me the most and it was also the most didatic one that I did.

I found working on the project very engaging. It's a highly useful app with practical usage. My family was extremely impressed with the final result) The lessons were detailed and easy to understand. Thank SheCodes team for the new knowledge!
This is a nice addition to the Basics workshop! I've learnt new CSS techniques that will eventually help my projects look much better. I'm not really into the CSS transform properties and the fancy backgrounds because I think that they are too "noisy". However, it's good to know how to work with these tools for future reference. I really enjoyed doing the final project and appreciate the fact that it looks really good and much more interactive for the user. It was nice to have Matt's support throughout the project development.
The basics add on was somehow easier than basics. Perhaps because i had an underlying understanding of code. How Matt demonstrates and explains the project, taking you step-by-step through the process makes building a webpage much simpler than you would initially think. I really enjoy being able to make pages based on my interests - it keeps me engaged. Thanks for the fun :)
In the Responsive Web Development course, I explored the fascinating world of creating adaptable websites using the Bootstrap framework. Learning about responsive design and implementing it in my final project—a personal portfolio webpage—was both engaging and practical. The course was expertly taught and made the learning process easy and enjoyable.
This is such a good workshop for beginners and I would really recommend it to someone wanting to get into tech. I really enjoyed the SheCodes basic workshop and it was really such a fun experience. Great course. Got to learn so much so quickly. Perfect mix of tutorials, doing your own homework and your own projects. Also very flexible with time, but still enough pressure to keep going due to deadlines.
I loved this workshop! This was the perfect add-on and refresher off all the SheCodes basics skills and I feel so confident now going forward and creating my own project.
SheCodes React courses were absolutely fantastic, I enjoyed it a lot. I got acquainted with React and even completed a project. SheCodes React courses are a wonderful opportunity to learn React and create your first project. I was impressed by the quality of teaching and the approach of the instructors. The initial lessons gave me a solid understanding of React, and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to start developing my own project. The learning process was structured and easy to grasp, which allowed me to gain confidence in my React skills rapidly. I especially liked the opportunity to create my own project within the course. It allowed me to apply the knowledge I gained in practice and see how React works in real projects. The entire learning experience was very engaging and motivating. I recommend SheCodes React courses to anyone interested in React development and wanting to quickly and effectively master this tool. I left this course with significant knowledge and confidence in my skills, and I am very satisfied with the outcome.

Coding always surprise me sometimes I underestimate How long I was do a project or how fun, challenge even stressful it can be but I will always came back. This bootcamp not only showed me how a real life project can have your up and downs but also bring me more resilience to finish and love my final result.
I love that my skills are growing more and more on SheCodes.io workshop. Projects are awesome and let me to express and brings out my creativity through coding. Thanks to Matt and sheCodes team for making this journey a successful one.
This second project was amazing. After finishing Shecodes Basic I didn't know how to continue, but making this addon gave me a lot of confidence. Now I am completely sure that this is the right way. Thank you so much Matt for being so patient and didactic in every explanation and to all the SheCodes team for helping me in every step.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in looking into coding. The class was fun and all the projects helped reinforce what you just learned. This kindled an interest in to the world of coding and I look forward to learning more.
