The Plus workshop was a challenge compared to the Basic program. However, once I finished I was really happy because of how my final project resulted. The challenge that comes with the Plus workshop is definitely worth it.
I have just completed SheCodes React, and I am thrilled by the experience. What impressed me the most was the quality of the course content and the support provided. Wow! That exceeded my expectations. The curriculum was well-structured and covered all the essentials of front-end development. Matt is knowledgeable and passionate about teaching, making the learning process engaging and enjoyable. I really enjoyed this workshop. I have a learning disability and haven't been in school in years, so I was nervous I would have difficulty, however it was pretty simple and straight forward. I actually had a ton of fun creating the last project, even so that I finished super early and tried to add in extra things that were taught, and things I googled to figure out. It was really fun! I did have issues with how the videos would teach us one thing, but then the work you needed to submit asked you to do something that wasn't even taught to you yet. I also didn't quite understand why an entire workshop for teaching women to code is taught by a man. A woman instructor would be better, though I understand Matt is the creator and therefor he teaches it all. I would really like to continue with the other workshops, however they are unfortunately not something I can afford.

React is incredibly fun and challenging, this project re-worked my memory into remembering what I learned for my weather app a long time ago, and what not to do!
React was difficult to understand, but the bigger concepts did make sense by the end of the course. I am happy with the final project and would like to learn more about React.
This has by far been the most challenging yet extremely motivating project yet. I have enjoyed scratching my head, trying to figure out where the lesson is going to go ahead of our teacher and really seeking external resources for guidance. I can see closer to my reality as a web developer day to day now. What a great learning experience.
A big amount of a new information was presented in this course, helping us to create a great project. Explanation is easy to understand, making me motivated to continue learning and creating.

She Codes is a great opportunity for every woman that wants to understand more about coding and/or the world around it, whether she comes with existing knowledge or starts from scratch.it is very easy to understand and homework after certain lessons really build up your confidence to next level. Coding is fun! Before starting at SheCodes, I thought that coding was difficult and that I would have a hard time learning it though I found it interesting. This is awesome!!! I tried to make it so that I could use this project for personal purposes. And that's why it was necessary to make a lot of checks in JS!!! Also, I set myself the challenge of developing this project using Bootstrap, and I did it!!!

Just finished my Basics add-on project. It was fun creating another page. Learned how to create grid layouts and changing the theme of a page using JS. Nice way to practice more of your css and html as well. I liked how we made the project together step by step per lesson. Saved me from going back and watching the videos for the final project over again.

I enjoyed every minute of the SheCodes Basics workshop! I love Matt's teaching style. I learned while having fun and even laughing sometimes. I loved that there are challenges after most of the teaching videos. This is the best teaching style for me. You implement what you learn. I also like that it is self-paced although there is a deadline for submitting the weekly homeworks and the final project. This is good for me too because I need to be able to learn on my own time but I also need that little push to stay on track. Can't wait to start with the SheCodes Plus workshop!

I really enjoyed doing the SheCodes Basics workshop. It helped me realize that I really like coding and that I do have a future in it. It's true that sometimes it's a bit frustrating but at the end of the day you have fun in the process and you are happy with your result. Right now I'm applying to universities and this course made me realize that I don't only want to study design but I want to combine it with some software programming like computer science, animation and videogame engineering and digital design. My final project was a web page where I wrote my college admissions essay and that way I could show them my skills. :))))

As a woman aspiring to break into the tech industry, I was aware of the challenges and barriers that often stand in our way. However, SheCodes has given me hope, confidence and opened the door to connect with fellow women who share similar aspirations and challenges. Learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript has not only equipped me with practical skills but has also inspired a newfound passion for coding and web development. The Add-on project was a bit more time consuming, and challenging than the Basics project. Comparing the two landing pages though, I think the benefit of taking this workshop is clear. I was able to create a much more aesthetically pleasing/put together landing page, and would 100% recommend everyone take this opportunity to build upon the fundamentals previously learned.

Now I've started to observe other websites from a different point of view. I really enjoyed doing the final project, we understood once again that we are capable of anything, with God, support from our family and persistence.
