This was a fun, little project that was a great refresher!
I have recently completed the basics of coding through the SheCodes program. It is a good coding course and i would recommend it to people who would like to learn to code and have no basics of coding. The material they use to teach us is easy to understand and to access. Their projects are real-life project where to you test what you have learnt and gain experience. Their team is supportive.
React has definitely been more challenging, however it's one of the better skills to learn. I hope to learn and understand more with time. I look forward to attempt new challenges with React. You really do need to stick to projects daily to gain full understanding 😅
I enjoyed the learning process and the frustration of JavaScript. 😅 It is taught very well and you understand how to build a page from scratch. The final project was lovely to build, I really enjoyed it. It's fascinating learning everything and finally getting the code to work.
Like any other journey, this one had its ups and downs, but I'm thrilled that I've made it this far; it was truly worth it. The depth and content of the materials, assignments, and project, as well as the instructor's expertise and the support of the team, are all deserving of my appreciation and thanks. Looking forward to continuing on this path with the Pro workshop.

I've struggled to find a workshop that I'd easily learn, with no previous knowledge needed before finding SheCodes. A friend of mine told me how awesome the workshops were, but I still had to find out for myself how SheCodes patlaform worked. When I finally joined SheCodes Basics for a trial, I instantly fell in love with the method and now that I have just finished my final project I am amazed how much I could learn in such a short time. I also enrroled in SheCodes Max and I can't wait to start.

I am an absolute beginner to coding. Just finished Shecodes basics while still working my full time job. The weeks are well paced for learning part-time. Left feeling quite accomplished in finishing the final project. I feel I have a good grasp of the basics of what we've covered so far. I'm excited to move onto Plus.
This course was a great start to learning React. I did learn plenty but at the same time, it was difficult. However, I actually like React. I can see myself learning more, and doing more projects with this JavaScript library.
The SheCodes Plus workshop I participated in for the past few weeks was an incredibly enriching experience. Matt's patient and steady teaching approach made it easier for me to grasp and remember all the essential points covered in the tutorials. In less than 3 weeks I have learned 3 new languages! 😃 The lessons from SheCode Basics were very good to follow and I liked the contact with the team of SheCodes very much! 😊 I liked the flexibility: I could choose when and where I wanted to work on the workshop. I can already show and tell everyone about the website(s) I made! 🤠😎🥳 I never had a moment which was bad, I liked every part of the workshop, especially the last week of the project: I could choose my own topic and chose: "The Window of Tolerance" and made a beautiful website thanks to the guidance of the workshop. I shared the website with my friends and it can also be helpful for others (I can help people with my websites already).🤗 The workshop made me get a better self confidence from the start, 🥰 because you learn the practice of coding and making fun and working things already right from the beginning. 🤩

This training has not only given me a robust understanding of React.Js but also the confidence to deploy JavaScript elements strategically, amplifying the functionality and user experience of web applications. As I look ahead, I'm excited to apply this knowledge to real-world projects, knowing that I can create dynamic and feature-rich web solutions. I really enjoyed accessing this module so I could practise and build on the skills I'd developed in SheCodes Basics. I've learnt some really useful skills and I've surprised myself with my final project! I'm actually proud of what I've been able to achieve. The support from the SheCodes team is invaluable; being able to share my code when I needed advice helped to solve problems I was facing.
As always, I loved the project topic, the process, and the teaching! This workshop was a little challenging, but of course, that's what made it so enjoyable. On to SheCodes Responsive!

SheCodes is an incredibly accessible way for women around the world to learn how to code. The lessons are easy to follow and move at a good pace. The projects are not only interesting, but also have real life value as examples of what you can do for potential employers. I appreciate that Matt always encourages us to have fun and to take breaks when we get frustrated - it's a healthy attitude that helps prevent me from getting overwhelmed. When I was a teacher, I learned that the most valuable thing we can teach our students is the ability to learn. Teaching people how to learn, problem solve, and figure things out on their own is incredibly empowering. SheCodes does that for you. While it's not always the most fun as a student (😅), being put in situations where you have to apply previous knowledge to figure out a new puzzle is a great exercise for learning. You'll often find yourself in positions like that during your lessons, but you become all the more stronger for it.
I cannot express how glad I am that I took a leap and joined SheCodes. I enjoyed working on the World Clock website. These projects become more fun with each section covered.

The course is very well structured. Having a practical case immediately after the theoretical lesson works very well, as you put the content you've learned into practice straight away. SheCodes Plus was a game-changer for me. I discovered my passion for web development and learned how to create beautiful and functional websites from scratch using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. I was looking for a career change and I was interested in web development. However, I had no prior experience or formal education in coding. I was looking for a course that would teach me the fundamentals of web development and help me build a portfolio of projects. The course transformed me from a complete beginner to a confident web developer. It was intensive, immersive, and empowering. The lessons were thorough, practical, and hands-on. The challenges were exciting but not impossible. The project was impressive and portfolio-worthy. Matt Delac is so skilled, approachable, and supportive. The community was friendly, helpful, and awesome. SheCodes Plus was an amazing experience that I will never forget. SheCodes Plus was very challenging at times, but equally as rewarding in the end. I realised how much I could take with me from the SheCodes Basics course but also how much more there is to learn. Hoping to gain some more understanding of JavaScript with my next project but I am overall feeling good about my progress and is enjoying the ride very much still!
It was a pretty difficult journey hey, at some point I thought I wouldn't be able to do it but I managed to push through and make sure I do all my homeworks and challenges and the final project, which was super challenging. I am very thankful to our tutor and his team for always helping me out when I didn't even have a clue on what I was doing. Otherwise, I had a great time and I have learned so many things and for that I am grateful😊

I had so much fun learning more about JavaScript's capability and being able to build a weather app! You never know what you're capable of until you give it a try. While some of the scripting was super challenging, it was still manageable due to the amazing instructions and how the lessons are laid out. I'm so excited to continue my journey and see what other fun projects lie ahead.

Learned a lot in this course again and saw how important react is for developing a great website. I rate this course a little bit lower than the others, since the documentation is not as complete and thorough as in the other courses. I had a great time designing my own icons and backgrounds for my project to mix it up, but it would have been great if this would have been a new project subject, not a weather app again.

In this workshop, I became more familiar with Javascript, React, API calls, CSS styling and more. I learned the importance of folder structure and how to deploy a React application to Netlify. I am confidence my experience gained here will help me in my future projects!
This is a great little workshop that builds on your knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS properties. I especially loved the edition of adding a dark mode to the project!

I enjoyed the challenge of creating my own weather app. The project the engaging and set up in a way where I did not think, "This is impossible". I felt very accomplished after completing this project.

Very challenging, but very informative and has helped me in working with the engineers in my role as an IT project manager.
I was feeling a little scared of coding prior to joining SheCodes, and now that I've finished the Basics program, I am excited to say that I will be dedicating the next few months into learning more advance coding because even though it can be challenging at the times, the reward of finishing a project in which my personality is all over it, to the minimal CSS details, is pretty awesome.
