A brilliant course! There was so much content and so much to learn. I loved learning all about animation. The challenges challenged me again, and Matt was so right when he said coding can be frustrating but really fun. I am proud of completing the project as I seemed to have so many personal time constraints during this course but somehow managed it. SheCodes Plus here I come :)
I find projects on this platform very useful for learning with the instructor and good materials to build on top of, growing own knowledge and research skills.

Honestly, this course was my absolute FAVORITE so far! I loved the journey for sure. In the other courses we worked through projects, but in this course, we built a full website! I loved that. I learned so much and am extremely grateful that I took this course. I recommend this course for sure!
Every time I finish another SheCodes Workshop I feel so much more confident in my coding skills! This project is definitely the closest one to my heart since it includes everything I've done so far during all the workshops! It was surreal to see the long way I have come from the first web page I have ever written in my life to making a weather app and now a portfolio to show to potential employers!! I loved learning about responsiveness and it has become my favorite part to work on when building a page!

I enjoyed learning with SheCodes. I learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I wish the course would have gone a bit more in detail. What I really liked was the fact of having deadlines, which motivated me to study every week and dedicate some time for the homework and the final project!
This was a funny project, I tried to do something a bit different. It was a challenge using html and css only and making it responsive.

Coding with Matt was an incredible experience. Although some parts, particularly in JavaScript, were challenging, Matt's explanation made it easy for me to understand the logic and implement it correctly. I found coding so exciting that I often lost track of time while working on my final project. I went above and beyond by adding extra features, such as night mode, correcting the timezone, and using custom icons instead of relying on the API. The end result was something I'm satisfied with.
Very good and informative regarding the js and the API application on the project. I really enjoy going through the API documentation and understanding more about its application in my code. For sure much more challenging than the basic one, but gives a deeper compression of how things work. Excited about the Responsive workshop.

Creating a multiple-page website is no doubt, time-consuming and considerably needs attention, yet Matt took all the steps so nicely that we never took them as a burden. The portfolio project is a MUST project to showcase our skill set. And SheCodes made us do this in a pretty way.

I had a lot of fun learning and doing the shecodes plus project. I'd tried to learn javascript before but always had problem with understanding it and didn't like it that much. Now however, with these step by step and amazing tutorials, I enjoy coding and creating more than ever.

Hi😊 I am Olwethu, a student from South Africa. I have always been fascinated by coding, and it has been a goal of mine to learn how to code. I am really grateful to SheCodes for creating such an opportunity for women to learn to code, a goal that I thought would be unattainable has become attainable. I have thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and task that we have done, I am always showing my loved ones my projects and the new skills that have learnt. Furthermore, coding has become my escape, whenever I am stressed by my academics and other things happening around me coding has helped in relieving my stress and anxiety.
