I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics workshop. Three weeks passed very quickly. When working on a project, you forget about time.The final project proved to be incredibly fascinating, and its development not only solidified my acquired knowledge but also highlighted areas for improvement. It's a cool feeling when you have the opportunity to influence the environment by changing "Background-color", "Height", "Width", adding "Image", "A", "Strong"... Magic happens before your eyes.
Seeing some of the powerful things CSS can do is amazing! This course really opens up a new world to making your project look its absolute best. First impressions are very important and completing this course has allowed my first impressions to be on point.

This course made learning the basics of code so easy. For me, the best way to learn is by practicing so the projects assigned to us were a huge help. It's given me the drive and confidence to strive for reaching my full potential as a full stack developer.
The React Add-on project was a great way to learn how to 1) fetch data from multiple APIs and render it in the same application and 2) go through the process of trial-and-error-ing different public APIs that best suit your application.
It wasn't easy, but following the steps from the course I managed to finish my project and gained some practical knowledge. There is still so much more to learn though.

SheCodes was my first try at learning to code and I loved it! If I hadn't gone to their free seminar online I never would have discovered my love for coding and computer science. The lessons are well explained and the projects are enjoyable, at a good level for beginners. Would recommend it to anyone with an interest in coding who doesn't know where to start or is looking to upgrade their skills with one of the other workshops :)

In this course, I've learned the workflow of frontend development and how to utilize APIs, work with Git, and host websites and many other topics. It was so fascinating to work on the weather app project, although it was pretty challenging to make all the features work using the real data. I am so glad that I have finished my project and I am looking forward to learning more.
I really like the workshop. I think it gives people a general overview of how things work and then it is a matter of practice. For my final project, I did a website for my sister that is the entrepreneur of Barro. She lives in Mendoza Argentina, that is why, you will see information in Spanish. Matt is an awesome instructor, he teaches each concept very clearly. The lessons are well structured. The mini challenges and the weekly projects really help in applying and better understanding the knowledge learnt from the lessons. There's also a technical team that is always ready to help with any technical questions one may have.
This project was definitely a challenge for me, but it was a good challenge. I had to step away from the workshop for a while due to personal reasons and ended up restarting the project once. However, the skills and tools I gained from the previous workshops as well as the easy to follow video lessons really helped me get back on track and complete the workshop without too many frustrations. Overall, I learned a lot through this workshop, and it was also fun to complete.
Another workshop completed🥳. Thanks to SheCodes, tags, attributes, properties have become old acquaintances and no longer cause fear😊. I didn't have enough time so I repeated the project after Maat. This is a very interesting activity and now I want to create my own project with my own design.
Before SheCodes, I've tried other free code camps/coding websites but was always left frustrated as I couldn't understand what I was learning or what I was doing. However, the step-by-step (very hand-holding) approach by Matt and his team has restored my confidence and helped me successfully build a webpage. My advice for new beginners who are eager to create: follow the instructions before getting carried away and wanting to build your own hobby project. Trust me. This will save you a lot of time and frustration.
SheCodes Plus helped me gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of JS and hosting websites, which I will use in my daily work. Although there were some challenging parts, I had a lot of fun solving the challenges and creating my project. It was fascinating to write more advanced logic for this web app and I hope I'll deliver greater results after the next two workshops with Matthieu Delac and SheCodes team.

Throughout the program, I learned numerous programming languages, such as HTML,CSS and JavaScript.This languages enabled me to understand the fundamental of cording and develop a solid foundation for more advance concept. React was very challenging and I hoped to practice a little bit more before jumping into a huge project. But the dictionary project was very interesting really nice to built.

A great workshop! Moving on toward a career in coding, this workshop introduces new elements to coding that are absolutely needed for bigger projects such as the final project. There was more focus on the final project which I think was good, as the number of new things was still less than in previous workshops. The final project was, as usual, the most fun part.

Matt puts everything we've learned from SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus, and SheCodes Responsive into two big React projects. It was challenging but also really fun to see my code come to life. If there is one thing I have taken away from this second project, it's that the best thing to do when one gets frustrated, is to step away for a few moments, relax or do something else, and when you return the answer often times just comes to you.
