I have absolutely loved learning new skills in SheCodes Basics. I have no coding experience and found the tutorials really informative and easy to understand. It's a great feeling to learn more and create your own projects as the course progresses, my confidence has been built from a total beginner to understanding HTML, CSS and JavaScript through this process. This project was very challenging but it made me realize that once your start feeling comfortable with coding, everything goes smoothly and you feel more confident with the new skills you’re acquiring. SheCodes workshops are addicting! You start working on a project and you don't want to stop. Matt breaks things down into easily digestible sections and explains complex subjects simply. I'm grateful to have found such a well-structured curriculum in my journey to learn coding.

This project was very fun to make, I should have finished this add-on first. But I totally missed it, when I had finished the Basics SheCodes, I guess I was too eager to jump into the SheCodes plus part of the training. The extra challenge was worth the knowledge I have gained. Now I can look back and realize where I was struggling.

I have been a teacher for almost 10 years and could not see myself staying in this career for the rest of my professional life. After seeing a SheCodes ad online, I became very interested when I saw it was geared solely to women. I was worried whether it was too late for me to learn coding and start a new career path, but this was the best decision I have ever made. I really enjoyed this workshop; I did struggle with JavaScript, but the mini challenges helped me and also Matt explanation. CSS styles was new to me and using these skills and putting it toward my final project shows how much I have achieved. I am looking forward to learning more.
I know it's just an introductory course, but I did build a project that I am chaffed with. So I'm proud of myself that I was able to accomplish it and I enjoyed the coding very much so far!

I was already familiar with HTML but not JavaScript or CSS. Learning JavaScript and CSS was a breeze with the way that Matt broke everything down. I was extremely nervous about learning the two, but the way that Matt teaches it was truly amazing! I honestly am in disbelief that I have completed my first project! I liked so much the basics course I decided to enrol in the Add-ons Basics Workshop to have one more project and improve my HTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge. This workshop was challenging in a fun way and pushes you to learn extensively throughout the explanative videos. While I still do not 100% understand all of the Javascript and function creations have done throughout the project, it was an extremely rewarding feeling following the SheCodes API and putting in the correct conditions. I'm glad it was broken down into multi-week portions as it was HEFTY. I am grateful for the experience and have a project I can look back on and go "Oh yeah we did this here" and I get to dissect it even further while going deeper into learning code. It makes me appreciate the individuals who do this for a living. Hopefully, I too will get to the point where everything "just clicks" as it does for Matt Delac in his informative videos!

It was a little bit complecated but I enjoyed every moment. Thank you for this interesting jorney. With some topics I was a bit confused but I think that the more practice will give me full understanding.and unfortunately I didn't make the final project as I wanted to because I didn't enought time to impove it (for personal reasons). But I hope I will do my best to impove the final project later.
Before shecodes ,learning how to code seemed like a very difficult task for me but shecodes provided a great opportunity for me where I could learn html,css,javascript without struggle.Also the step by step approach and the challenges at the end of each week helped me to understand each lesson thoroughly before moving on to the next lesson.The project at the end of the course allowed me to use my creativity and review what I had learnt so far.All in all,I highly recommend this course to whoever is at the beginning of their coding journey.
This course was the most difficult, but with Matt's good explanation everything became clear. Sometimes I got stuck trying to figure out how to fix or do something. Nice and detailed workshops, everything explained in a proper way so that there almost no reasons to encounter serious problems or even get stack. The project itself is interesting to do and also an extremely good experience, as we usually need to make portfolio for ourselves quite a lot. Thanks to the SheCodes for these nice lessons.
Another exciting and challenging workshop! I really liked the Responsive workshop which made me able to build a portfolio that looks good on any device. Like the previous workshops every step is explained by Matt and you can check your progress through the challenges before writing the code for the final project. I can't wait for React now!

SheCodes Basics was a great starter into the world of dev and the projects very educational.
I've learned so much in the past two weeks!! Java dealt with me, but Matt is a great teacher. He did a great job at breaking it down and making it as easy to understand as possible. I enjoyed the little activities after each lesson to practice what I've learned. And the final project for the Basics workshop was fun to do! Would highly recommend it, 100/10!!

I really enjoyed how this program was broken up into manageable steps. It never felt overwhelming, and the mini-projects really helped my confidence, as they were great to go back to whenever I got stuck.

After completing the SheCodes Plus program, where I gained advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API, GitHub, and hosting; I can confidently say that this program has been a game-changer for me.
