When I showed a friend my project, asking for feedback, she dropped her jaw and said "I never imagined that I would know someone capable of doing these things, for me it's something out of a movie!" - and this is exactly how I feel. I never thought I would be able to learn to build something so complex in such little time... and it's just the start!
SheCodes Basics was a fun and challenging introduction to front-end coding. The lessons were very engaging and easy to follow, and the challenges helped to put them into practice. I am so happy with my final project and I hope to continue learning to code 🥰!

When I first saw SheCodes I was immediately curious. The fact that it is focused in women was of particular importance to me. I tried the Basics workshop and managed to do it all in 1 week, even working full-time during the week. In this short period, I feel I learned the basics of building a webpage and was super invested in the final project. Now I am super looking forward to the next phase.
This course was great once again. Also the final project and the artistic freedom you have really made me give everything I learned. :)

Best beginners workshop ever! I truly enjoyed every minute of this journey, and even though I did come across some challenges, the manner in which this workshop is structured made overcoming those challenges very easy. Matt is a really great instructor, & the support from the SheCodes team was also very helpful. This workshop provided me with the most informative & comprehensible introduction to HTML, CSS & JavaScript, I loved working on the homework/challenges and building my first project from scratch. I look forward to enrolling in the SheCodes plus workshop next.

It is a really amazing Coding course! During every lesson the information was clearly explained and it was easy to understand everything, although coding was always a frightnening thing for me. SheCodes' Responsive workshop is a great course to take your basic coding skills to the next level. There is a ton of new information that is relevant to today's coding reality. Everything has to look good on a phone, and now my projects do! The final project is a portfolio that is very rewarding to build and put out into the world.

I joined this course because I wanted to really learn how to code and the basics was really superb. If you asked me before the workshop to build a world clock, I would reject it because it seems so out of reach. I am glad the Plus Add-On workshop equipped me with the skills and knowledge to build one! I totally enjoyed creating a world clock of my own and looking forward to my next project!
this workshop made me realize that coding can be really fun and not that complicated! I had a lot of fun doing the final project. I finished the SheCodes basics workshop in around 10 days while being busy! Matt did a great job of teaching. the little challenges and solutions after each lesson were super helpful. This is the second project since I've been introduced to coding one week ago. I already can see a lot of improvements in my website building skills, especially with richer manipulation of CSS and how to make the website fun to interact with.

The introduction to coding workshop was very exciting and it was pretty awesome. I was able to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a short amount of time. Matt made it easy to understand and the lessons were well-organized and easy to follow. I liked that it had hands-on challenges as well as projects so I could really get a feel for what I was learning. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn about web development. :) I am super ready for next step in my coding journey!

It was damn hard and took a lot of time to understand and finish 2 projects but it was really interesting) React and JS give such a huge field to try some new stuff and to do some experiments. Sometimes I was just losing track of time) But the course is really giving a lot of new knowledge and practical experience) Definitely will recommend it to my friends)
Round 3 of SheCodes workshops was as informative, interesting and entertaining as the first. I was able to use many of the HTML and CSS techniques we learned in Basics and Plus. I really enjoyed the creative freedom we got for this portfolio project. Though there were some moments of confusion and stress with my code, I was able to pull through with the help of Matt's lecture videos and the slack chats of fellow SheCodes students. I am really happy with my project and I can't wait to start on SheCodes React and Add-on projects.
I loved this workshop! I feel so much more prepared and knowledgeable on React, especially on VSCode, and feel like I can even start making my own projects on my own :) I will take what I've learned into new coding endeavors and future jobs!

Seeing my first React projects live and working is a huge satisfaction, I have to admit. However, during the SheCodes React workshop, I felt I couldn't gain organic skills, as some crucial pieces of information were missing and some topics were treated quite hastily.

I've taken a few online courses over the years, but it is safe to say that SheCodes tops them all by far. Matt is highly skilled at breaking down complex information into manageable and understandable chunks in a logical order that allows you to gradually build a solid foundation of knowledge, which is further reinforced by the demonstrations and examples provided in the lessons, and your own practice via the lesson challenges, homework and projects. As a visual and practical learner, these methods have helped me so so much, and I've learned and retained so much more than I was ever expecting. Matt has also managed what I previously believed was impossible - to make programming less scary (and fun)! Thanks again for this wonderful experience.
The basics add on project was just like the name, an add on that was super helpful and easy to learn.
I loved learning about making a light/dark theme for the website. I feel like it is definitely something I will want to incorporate into other projects, like the weather app. As always, these courses are very easy to follow and push me to learn new skills.

Cool project! I wanted to create one function for all default cities, so I've been struggling a little. But, it was worth it, because I'm even more proud of myself right now 🙈😎. I also added a button to change a clock into dark theme ❤️. I had super fun, as always 🥰.
It was a little bit procrastinated because of holidays, but I made it. Responsive course was harder, complicated but useful and had so much practice and new skills. It is really explained very well and in a very basic manner. However this needs a lot of practice. It was really nice to learn all the new ways of achieving the project goal.
The SheCodes Basics Add On Project is very valuable to review everything that has been taught so far and to learn some extras which are really helpful.
It was not an easy course. I felt stuck and couldn't move forward a couple of times, but the Shecodes team and community came to the rescue and helped me through the challenge. Being able to create a Weather App at the end of the course gives me confidence and inspires me for new projects. I am very grateful to Matt and the team for this valuable experience!
