First time working with AI and including it in a project. I had fun creating a project which can create a Haiku, based on a single word in a searchbar.

Each challenge presented with these courses builds confidence and provides room for personal growth, fostering a sense of accomplishment when faced with complex technical tasks. I thoroughly enjoyed all the challenges and the freedom of creativity the projects give you.
Today, thanks to SheCodes Basics, I no longer see coding as an intimidating endeavor but rather as a creative outlet and a valuable skill set. Whether it's pursuing a career in web development or simply tinkering with side projects, I feel empowered to explore new opportunities in the tech industry.
It can be very frustrating trying to get the prompt and context right so that the AI responses with the information you want but this was such a fun project to complete. I appreciate that AI is growing and growing and will not stop so being able to understand things like this in the future will be very important.
This workshop was fun to learn. I created a recipe generator, that I will use when I get stuck for ideas in the kitchen. This example related to me more, as I am not crazy about poetry. At first, I was a bit intimidated to move away from Matt's example, thinking it would be more confusing to learn. I am excited that this was not the case. I found that it was easy to customise and encouraging to think of other AI projects I could create to streamline my everyday tasks!!
I'm hooked!! I've just completed the Basics Add-on course and have loved every minute. I've worked through CSS, understanding Backgrounds, how to make elements stand out using Transform and Grids and I'm now familiar in Class Manipulation too, using JavaScript to make changes to my HTML code. It's been a fun project to work through one of my hobbies and bring it to life through a landing page! Looking forward to progressing through the upcoming SheCodes courses.

Having completed SheCodes Basics, I felt I needed to continue with coding as I felt I was only getting started! In this week Add On, I learned how to create CSS grids which was something I was looking for in the Basics homework. Overall, I feel this short course has enabled me to keep my coding skills fresh in my mind whilst building more advanced HTML, CSS and Javascript. I really enjoyed making the Final Project and towards the end I ended up tinkering with the CSS code and understanding where to put certain classes or hovers - something I definitely wouldn't have been able to do 3 weeks ago. Definitely a more challenging, but again a very well structured course. A great introduction to more advanced JS techniques and the world of APIs. Enjoyed the whole journey, which had a rewarding end with the final project. The slack channel was a great help in finding answers when questions arose during the course.

Wow! This was my first time integrating AI into an application and it was truly a great learning experience. The project was fun to build and I enjoyed this one the most so far. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get creative in the digital space.
This project has been great fun! I struggled a little bit in the first 4 weeks but the second half of the course I flew through in just a couple of days. I had so much fun doing this course and being able to play around with the design myself. Note to self I need to come up with some way better design ideas for the next project but I had fun playing with the colour palettes etc. I learnt so many new things in this project and I cant wait to take them into the next project.

i found these 3 weeks both challenging and rewarding - i loved learning the new languanges within coding and pushing myself to problem solve within my work. Matts classes and projects are just the right amount of informative teaching and practical work.
I had tried wrapping my head around coding for a long time and even worked on some data science projects at work and university. I felt defeated because I found coding too complex and thought that the world of software development was a dream I could never pursue. I challenged myself to try coding just one more time and attended the SheCodes Introduction workshop. I was shocked at how easy to grasp the concepts were and how much I enjoyed the way Matt (my instructor) explained concepts. I felt for the first time that my dream of transitioning into software development was a real possibility. The lessons were ADHD-friendly (which was very important for me as an ADHD girlie!) as they were bite-sized, self-paced, aesthetic and interesting. Needless to say, I find myself coding for fun at night, which I never thought I'd say. If you're on the fence, please try the course; you won't regret it!

Throughout the course, I gained expertise in advanced JavaScript techniques, learned to integrate live APIs for fetching real-time data, and acquired proficiency in utilizing Git and GitHub for project management.
I completed a basic module of coding at university a number of years ago which I enjoyed yet I fully didn't understand it and how all the elements of coding languages interacted with each other. Now having dipped my toe back into coding with SheCodes, I have found exactly what I am looking for. Step-by-step videos which explain each topic with a short challenge using this knowledge, building your knowledge gradually. You have all the lessons to refer back to, the Slack community and also SheCodes Athena AI to assist you whenever you need it. Although at times it was challenging, it enabled me to go back, re-try and check my code and it's the best feeling when it loads and works which you have solved yourself! I really enjoyed creating the final project and definitely keen to look into coding further. Thank you Matt for all your lessons and the SheCodes team!
Taking this course is one of the wiser decisions I have make for my career. The course is incredibly well-structured and easy to follow plus with just the right amount of work that you able to completely understand the work without feeling overwhelmed.
