I’ve just finished my next SheCodes course and I can genuinely say it’s one of the most confidence-boosting things I’ve done in a long time. I went from “I vaguely know what HTML is” to building and deploying a fully working web app with JavaScript, APIs, and proper UX logic — and somehow enjoying the debugging along the way (stockholm syndrome, maybe?). What I loved about SheCodes is that it doesn’t just tell you what to type — it explains why. So when something broke (and it did, repeatedly!), I wasn’t panicking… I was actually able to reason my way through it. By the end, I’d built a Tattoo Concept Generator that takes user input, handles loading states and errors, and is live on the internet — which still feels a bit surreal. The lessons are clear, practical, and friendly without being patronising. You’re encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, and improve things step by step, which made everything click in a way tutorials never had for me before. If you’re curious about coding but slightly terrified of it, SheCodes is a brilliant place to start. You come out with real skills, real projects, and the quiet confidence of someone who now knows how to Google things properly. Huge thanks once again to Matt Delac and the whole SheCodes Team!

I am a bunch of emotions. I just completed my final SheCodes project ☺️🥲. This has been a remarkable journey. I had a goal to finish the bootcamps as soon as I was able to and I did it! I am so grateful for each lesson, challenge and homework assigned. I was able to practice and apply it practically. I intend on going over everything and practicing all that I have learned so that it becomes second nature. Congrats to everyone that has completed the bootcamps and to those that are working towards it. I am so very excited for what lines ahead, the future is bright 🌟

Learning Python Basics was really fun! Matt explained everything clearly and in an easy-to-understand way. Creating projects from scratch and then developing them further lesson by lesson is a great way to review what you've learned and see your own progress. The given free resources for further reading and diving deeper into topics such as Python code formatting were also very helpful! The SheCodes team and community were always there to answer questions, to give feedback and to cheer you on. :)

As always, great workshops. The end project was lots of fun too :)

This course was fun and while the final project was challenging e.g. getting each city's local time zone to work, fixing Netlify and GeoNames after I exceeded free limits, designing and getting my weather emoticons animation to work, etc... I have learned a lot in the process and it sure is great to finally complete my Wonky weather app.

This journey has been incredible — I gained practical skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and learned how to build real websites from scratch. Beyond coding, the course taught me discipline, problem-solving, and confidence in tackling tech projects. Taking the SheCodes React course has been such a transformative experience! Building my weather app with a 5-day forecast really pushed me to apply best practices and think carefully about component structure, state management, and responsive design. Compared to my previous projects, this one feels much more polished and professional, and I now feel confident creating interactive React apps. The lessons are clear, practical, and the projects make learning fun — I can’t wait to keep building more complex apps!

This course was helpful in breaking the final project down in pieces throughout the course while making it so that we were generalizing the course learning in order to complete the final project.

Building this World Clock project has been an incredible and rewarding challenge. It allowed me to significantly deepen my JavaScript skills, especially in working with complex time zones and external libraries like Moment.js. Learning how to manipulate the DOM to update the time in real-time and seeing the design come together with CSS Flexbox has given me much more confidence as a front-end developer. I am proud of the final result and the clean, functional interface I've created!

The final project brought everything together—building an interactive AI‑driven application, refining prompts, handling API responses, and applying clean, accessible front‑end design. I’m proud to have earned my SheCodes Plus AI certification and even prouder of the confidence and capability I’ve gained through this fast‑paced, hands‑on programme. This course has expanded my technical toolkit and reinforced my passion for creating thoughtful, user‑focused digital solutions. Learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with SheCodes has been amazing! I built my Hockey Hobby landing page from scratch, added links, animations, and a responsive grid, and even implemented a dark/light theme toggle. This project let me practice everything I learned in the SheCodes basics and gain real hands-on experience turning my ideas into working web pages. I feel confident applying my skills to future projects.

In this project, I created an interactive web page about Ballet Dance using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML was used to structure the content, including headings, images, buttons, and text. CSS was used to style the page and improve its appearance. I applied CSS Grid to display images in a responsive gallery and used CSS transformations and transitions to add hover effects and smooth animations. These features make the page more engaging and visually appealing. I also implemented a dark theme toggle using JavaScript. By clicking a button, users can switch between light mode and dark mode. The selected theme is saved using localStorage, allowing the preference to remain even after refreshing the page. JavaScript was further used to add simple interactivity, such as an alert message when clicking the “Learn Ballet” button. Overall, this project demonstrates my understanding of basic front-end web development concepts and my ability to combine structure, styling, and interactivity into a functional and user friendly webpage

I highly recommend the workshop! In the end, I was able to create a world clock 🕙 for selected time zones. It is a vanilla, self-contained JavaScript project where you can add or remove time zones from the clock. Check it out!

A lot of information, I wanted to calmly work on my own portfolio project after finishing SheCodes so because of this I made small changes to an earlier version of an portfolio site and will make a new one after I finished SheCodes.

This add on was a great way to combine all the skills learnt and put into a different project.

This workshop was challenging but enjoyable. I learned a lot throughout the process and gained valuable skills. I am very grateful for the opportunity and plan to continue learning and building more projects using the skills I gained through SheCodes workshops.

Although I hold a degree in Computer Engineering, I never had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in frontend development over time, that gap affected my confidence and made returning to the IT industry feel challenging. SheCodes completely changed that for me. Really fun workshop, sometimes slightly tricky and really needed to focus to not make too many mistakes and to keep understanding it. Really enjoyed the final project and really understood it when I was making the project.

SheCodes Basic-Add On has been amazing! There's really been so much to learn, so much to improve on and so much to practice. I really appreciate Matt's calm way of teaching because I would always feel comfortable to go back to the videos whenever I needed more insight or made a mistake. This project was quite challenging but it really helped me improve my coding skills especially in programming languages like JavaScript.

The course gave me a solid foundation in front‑end development and the confidence to build creative, interactive web pages from scratch. I’m proud of how far I’ve come — not just in understanding the syntax, but in thinking like a developer, solving problems, and expressing my own ideas through code. I now feel ready to take on more advanced challenges, continue learning, and build even more polished projects. This course has genuinely sparked a passion for web development, and I’m excited to keep growing.

Apart from needing to have a HTML Table (where there is no good use for in my website) in my final project, I really enjoyed this workshop!
