So glad I took this course with SheCodes! I am surprised with how much I was able to learn in a short amount of time. Having the Slack channel was great, I was able to get help whenever I needed it. I found myself getting excited to complete the projects each week. I would highly recommend taking a course with SheCodes!
When choosing this course, I did not actually believe that I would be able to understand even the basics of coding and the programming languages were at that time beyond my goals. However, you can never know something is not for you until you try it. This is how my story started with this course. In just three weeks I got completely new base of knowledge and I found out that everything is quite logical. I can say that this course is a great start for someone who is not sure if coding is for them. With the small challenges, projects, and, of course, self-learning you can open to yourself a new world. Just the basics, but what a great opportunity to see what you can actually do yourself!
Today I’m proud ☺️. Today I finish with 3 weeks SheCodes Basic workshop submitting my Final Project :) SheCodes is an extraordinary opportunity to learn a skill that will have you set for life! The lessons are simple, mostly easy, but absolute fun! I have come to like coding and I'm only getting started! The ability to learn on my own time, access to all the resources, and community support is just amazing! No doubt I'll be looking forward to completing all workshops and becoming a master at web development! Thank you SheCodes and Matthieu Delac for the amazing experience! This add-on workshop was very helpful! It explored more complex CSS & HTML that I will definitely be using on projects in the future.
I'd highly recommend SheCodes! I've been interested in learning how to code for the past year and while there are tons of free resources, I couldn't motivate myself to finish and there was no one to look over my work so there wasn't any consequences for being sporadic with my studying. With SheCodes, I have deadlines to follow, structure that keeps me organized, challenges and homework that gets marked and projects that really make you work independently and test the skills you learn. I learned so much from Matt already and am excited to move onto the rest of the course. He teaches thoroughly efficiently and doesn't waste time. Additionally, the Slack community is active so getting help and giving help happens 24/7.
Great workshop, can't wait for my next project.

The project was a challenge, but was fun to do. I really liked the difficulty of the lessons. It was very interesting to make the world clock.
This was a great course add-on. This final project made me think of the weather project from another workshop, and now I'm tempted to look at ways to combine the two!

It's been challenging but rewarding. At first, it was very hard to understand all the concepts and I think it'll still take lots of time to get a hang of it, but the feeling that some things are more automatic and I know what to do - it's amazing. Thank you for that. I liked both projects, it was a good idea to practice more the concepts and play a bit with CSS. Thanks a lot. Highly recommend! Now up to the next challenge- the job hunt!

I'm having so much fun learning all of these new skills! It's challenging in the best way, and turning in each project feels like such an accomplishment. Going through these workshops, I'm discovering a new passion I never dreamed I would have.
This part of the course was extremely useful, I have learnt tons of things which I believe will use in the future. Moreover, I feel that I have now better understanding on how to structure the layout of the project and make it responsive. Super useful as well as all the previous parts of SheCodes. Expecting to move to the next and final stage.

I came into the workshop with little knowledge and coding. The format was great for quick videos and practice challenges. I really enjoyed the final project!
I've always been more of an outdoorsy nerd than a computer geek, but SheCodes might just convert me! I started the workshop with zero coding knowledge whatsoever and found it very easy to follow along with the lessons. I enjoyed the challenges and projects and loved that Matt pushed us to do some creative problem solving in each of the assignments. Looking forward to using my skills in the real world!

it turned out to be more difficult than I thought, but it was a very useful and interesting experience, now I have learned a lot of useful things and I have another cool project!) I can't wait to start the next course and learn even more and put it into practice
I enjoyed learning about how to make websites more responsive. I also found this section to be a nice refresher of CSS and HTML, diving deeper into those after an intensive Javascript course was helpful for me as it is the foundation for all websites. I did find the work on this particular section to be a bit repetitive, as we coded the same site twice. I chose a different final project to try something new. However, I appreciated that for this final project we were allowed to choose from 3 different designs. I chose one of the designs that we had not previously done. I'm glad that there were options and that I was able to code my project without video tutorials as the tutorials were following a different design.
The course allows you to improve and expand your knowledge. I can't believe how much I learned in just a few weeks, creating a portfolio site was a great final project. I really enjoyed the SheCodes lessons. I highly recommended SheCodes courses.

I keep getting surprised by how much I learn each week through these courses. Each time I'm ready to give up, a new way of coding is introduced and instantly catches my interest again. It's so satisfying seeing a project being built from the ground up and added to each week. I can't recommend SheCodes and Matt as an instructor enough!

I never thought I would finish my course in about one month :) I am really happy with Matt's lectures but I wish to have had more projects in this course, nevertheless, it was very challenging, especially with Javascript. Back in SheCodes basic, I wasn't even able to read formulas from Javascript when I search on the internet, it was so confusing and now I can understand them and apply them, without a problem :) I am definitely looking forward to doing the next courses!
I like this workshop! It was very interesting to learn about using API and to practice how to integrate API to our weather project.

I programmed a Weather App to enable users search for their current location, the location they reside, and other locations. I also used a metric unit to enable users toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit degree, dependent on their location. It has been a mind blowing journey and it was really tasking, glad I got the result I needed. SheCodes React was, I think, the most challenging course for me, but yet the most exciting one! I have built two real-life projects step by step with instructor Matt Delac. I loved the lectures from the beginning where complex code became simple and understandable. And this is where the magic happens. Incredible team support on Slack if you are stuck or get confused. This intro workshop was challenging and fun! The over-the-shoulder format of the lesson videos is super helpful, and the homework and final project really help to solidify everything I've learned so far.

It was really amazing journey to make my first responsive project!!! I learned so much and try out lots of new things.
The course covers the extension of html, css and JS issues. The API lessons were new and really useful. The project of the weather app is great and allows you to put all the knowledge into practice in an interesting way especially when you can use something fully functional created by yourself!
I cannot emphasise enough how much SheCodes has helped me in my coding journey. I don't think I would have gotten so far with any other course. Having to create my own projects while learning was a great way of accomplishing a lot in a short period of time.
You can always work on a website, and you can always improve the look, the design, and the coding language behind it, but you can only do once the first multipage project of your life. In this course I have learned a lot in the short time I have been. I like the classes with the instructor Matt, he is a good teacher and makes everything easy to understand. The methodology in which after most of the lessons a challenge is carried out and then the solution is explained is striking since it allows reinforcing the topics seen. The first project was challenging and I enjoyed doing it, I like the freedom that was given to do it since it allows us to challenge ourselves and let our imagination run wild. It is also fun to work with the tools that SheCodes offers, it makes the job easier.I am excited to continue coding and learning!
I felt challenged while completing this project but never overwhelmed. Throughout the course, Matt provided SheCodes students with detailed instructions and very thorough examples of how to complete certain tasks. I'm glad I completed the add-on assignment.

The three weeks of training at the SheCodes BASICS course were extremely interesting🤩 and educational🤓, but, unfortunately, ended very quickly. I really liked: interactive online platform (special thanks for the design😍); easy and understandable teaching of the material; structured schedule with deadlines; execution of my own 1st project at the end of the course. I would like to pay attention to Introducing SheCodes Coding Tools: CSS Color Palettes and CSS Gradients. These tools are fantastic and make every project better. A lot of thanks to Matt Delac and the SheCodes team for the cool spending time and new coding skills. I really appreciate the learning opportunity I got through the SheCodesFoundation program.
Highly recommend to workshop for anyone who would like to upskill in JS to build their dream projects. As always, I learnt a lot of tricks and useful tools and everyday I feel more confident to apply for jobs as a Frontend Developer.
The SheCodes Basics Add-on was a lot of fun! It expanded more in depth about the previous workshop and taught me more about what I wanted to learn. With the first project, I was getting really frustrated with not knowing how to edit and add images into a column or making it stand out. However, the add-on workshop was able to teach me how!
I never thought I can understand the language of HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT. It is amazing to be able to understand the concept of basic coding and being able to work on very cool mini projects that allows you to be hands on, able to make mistakes and learn from them but above all to have a teacher that created these videos. I am thankful I ran into this website and though you may not be into software programming, I think its great to simply try it out and understand what we use on a daily basis and appreciate all the work that goes into it. I had a lot of fun and considering to learn more. I am in my mid 30's and I am proud of myself. I did not think I can learn something new and it shows me that I am able to do more then I thought and building my own confidence.
