SheCodes React Add-on brought me back to the classic SheCodes rhythm I’ve loved over the last six months. After the first React course’s fast pace, this add-on felt focused and hands-on—clear lessons followed by building. We integrated new APIs and built something different from my earlier projects, and by the end React really clicked for me. I’m happy to finish one of my final courses on a high note and excited to keep shipping React apps.

It was a good learning curve adjusting the code of my vanilla JS weather app to React. I built it with Vite since the suggested create-react-app has been deprecated, and the tutorial videos of this workshop haven't been updated in a few years it seems, so I wanted to try to learn up-to-date methods, which meant using React, Vite and Netlify documentation and YouTube videos to learn what I needed to complete this project in React.

I really enjoyed being able to completely work on a project from wireframe to deployment. Integrating two new API's in one website was a challenge - but now I know I can do it!
This was another great project to develop my coding skills. I enjoyed building on skills from other workshops, and found it interesting how to manipulate images to make them more appropriate for a hero/footer.

During the She Codes advanced Python course, I really enjoyed learning how to work with data and create graphs. It was fun to actually visualize the information in a way that made sense. At the same time, I found it quite challenging to manage lists and dictionaries correctly and to make sure the indentation was right, since that often affects how the code runs. Overall, the course pushed me to think more carefully about how my code is structured, and I feel proud of what I was able to build. This course challenged me to be more thoughtful about code structure and best practices, and I’m proud of the projects I completed.

I think I had mentioned it last time, I hadn't coded anything in 20 years and I stumbled across SheCodes about 2-3 years ago. Life got in the way, the usual things, work, kids, cats, you name it, but what I like the most about it is that I can come back and rewatch the topics that washed away with time from memory. I just select what I want, chuck it when I need it and continue with the following topics. Friendly reminder from someone who didn't check the browser settings while coding the final project: check your browser zoom settings before you submit it :D

I really enjoyed the new CSS features that I added to my project. In my design process, I used the She Codes CSS generator to lighten images, add gradients, and transform images as well. I loved learning how CSS grids work, and most importantly, I was able to change the theme of my page. I added more features to the dark mode to make it more visually appealing. Overall, it was all worth it!

I have to be honest I never interacted with platforms like ChatGPT before, I didn't know much about prompts, contexts and plugins...Each lesson is like the ones in previous workshops built upon each other so that you can create your own project using AI. The Python Advanced workshop provided useful practical skills in data analysis and manipulation. Learning to process CSV files and create professional visualizations initially felt challenging, but the step-by-step approach made it achievable. The hands-on projects taught me to break complex problems into manageable pieces. Despite the debugging challenges and moments of confusion, completing my final project was very rewarding. As overwhelming, difficult, and, at times, frustrating as this process has been, I am looking forward to continuing to practice and pushing myself.
Just completed my 2 week AI workshop and project. It was interesting to learn how useful AI can be with correct prompt engineering and API Integration. This project was a lot of fun, but also challenging. I got stuck at some point, but when I finally figured it out, it was such a great feeling of achievement.

SheCodes was a great refresher for my coding skills. Clear lessons and hands-on projects helped me quickly get back into the groove
Completing the Weather Application project has been a rewarding journey. It hasn’t always been easy. There were moments when the challenges felt overwhelming. Thanks to the clear, step-by-step guidance from SheCodes Founder Matt Delac, I was able to work through each obstacle with confidence. Matt’s teaching style made even the trickier concepts approachable, and his encouragement kept me motivated throughout the process. I’m proud of the result and very satisfied with what I’ve achieved. This project has not only strengthened my coding skills but also given me the confidence to tackle more complex applications in the future Insha'Allah. 🤲
I truly enjoyed being part of the SheCodes community. I not only learned the concepts but also put them into practice. I even deployed a final project. It was a great experience to complete a final task each week. I was always excited to see what the next week would bring. I loved how the instructor taught us each thing step by step. Additionally, the most rewarding aspect was creating content for fundamental topics that are often overlooked, such as deployment, API usage, and API documentation.
She Codes ignited a spark in me that I didn’t know existed. Every lesson, every challenge, and every project reminded me that I am capable of more than I ever imagined. Yet another remarkable experience!! This has reminded me why I started my coding journey in the first place. I've gained valuable front-end development skills, which is my true passion and the field I aspire to specialize in. I am currently doing the SheCodes Bootcamp, still have a few more workshops to finish. I actually would round up next year. I just concluded SheCodes Plus Add-on. I enjoyed working on this project, learning new tools in JavaScript, and how these tools make your code extremely powerful
