Thank you SheCodes for this opportunity to learn JavaScript! After doing the workshop, this course really helped in understanding the principles. Even after finishing the final project demands, I found myself reading in on websites as stackoverflow and MDN as I wanted to change things up, making my code easier to read and removing as much repeats as I know how to at this level.
I absolutely love the workshop, I did other coding courses but couldn't finish them, but with SheCodes I really enjoy every section of it, without having any coding backgrounds. I truly believe I will create amazing projects and a professional career by loving what I do. Thanks to the SheCodes team!
SheCodes React was very fast paced but it's amazing how much you can learn in short time. It's been very challenging but I'm looking forward to keep learning and building more projects. Highly recommend!
I am mother of a two year old and looking for opportunities for a new career start. This workshop really helped me to brush up my programming skills and was really fun. Also the homework and project sessions are really useful for all those who are looking for a career start in coding. I would really spend time for the coming workshops with SheCodes.
SheCodes React was just as good as the first two courses. Very professional video lessons and I also like homework with deadlines. Like much else new, you often come across something you do not fully understand or it does not always succeed in solving the task, but if you have some issue then SheCodes team are always ready to help through Slack. I would especially thank João 🙏. I want to know if he has time to sleep at all 😄 because he always responds quickly to all of us. Personally, I would like SheCode React to be more in-depth and last longer or for one more course to be offered where you work on another project, so you can improve your skills.
The videos are short and clear, well explain by Matt. The challenges were very exciting to finish and the final project was really fun to do! I would totally recomend the 3 week workshop if you only are curious about coding since is only the basics. Can't wait to start the Plus workshop!

Really good course for the price. Great videos, exercises, team always supports you and answers your questions. It was really surprising to see a digital course with such a high quality. Ended this course being able to deliver not only the weather app features required for the final project, but also other features that you learn along the course. for someone who had 0 background on coding, I believe I got a lot from the course since I can now set up an app or website from scratch writing HTML, CSS and Java script
If you had told me months ago that I´d have been able to do an weather app, I wouldn´t have believed you! SheCode Plus workshop was a challenging course I´ve done but seeing my final project finished is a rewarding moment that I´ve had. I´m super happy to have found this plataform I could say SheCodes has helped me to improve my skills.
This workshop was so cool! Deeply educational, the tasks and projects are not very hard to achieve, and yet challenging, which is the perfect mix! It really follows the 'baby steps' principle (very important in my opinion.) I totally recommend this for anyone who wants to learn code.

I've really enjoyed this introduction to coding and can't wait to learn more! Doing the project and seeing how, after just 3 weeks, I could grasp the concepts and make it into a website (albeit quite simple for now) was a really great experience.
Wow! I can't believe it's been 8 weeks. Time flies when you are learning and having fun at the same time. I learned SO much within the course of 8 weeks and looking back before I even started, I have grown a lot. You can definitely finish the course shorter than 8 weeks if you put the time, but I chose to take it slowly, day by day. Now I have this amazing project I can add to my portfolio... and oh how satisfying it is when your code works! :)
It's amazing to see how far I've come and how much I've learnt since I started the first workshop. I know this final project is just a simple weather app, but I'm proud to have been able to finish it without too much hassle.
Another great course from SheCodes. Everything is very well explained and there are a lot of challenges to help you put to practice what you just learned. Very doable within the time frame suggested as well. I thought the final project was a bit more complex than what the lessons covered, but again it was well explained and we can follow all the steps. This has been the best coding experience of my life. I always wanted to learn to code, and after having my first baby I thought that dream was long lost. I still can't believe how easy was for Matt and the SheCodes to teach us how to do our projects. I'm very happy, I'm about to start the React course now!
I greatly enjoyed the SheCodes workshop! The course format and instruction made it feel easy and rewarding to progress through, while at the same time challenging. I learned a lot and would definitely recommend it for beginners. I'm really happy with my final React project. :)

SheCodes was accessible and affordable. The videos, challenges, and homework were set up to scaffold each other; which then helped me successfully complete the project. I was able to keep up and follow along even with a busy work schedule.

Since I just finished my Masters degree and are right now looking for a job, I had some extra time on my hand. I always found coding very interesting but did not know where to start. SheCodes is perfect to start coding. The homeworks and challenges made it easy to stay on track, and the final project was awesome!
I would definitely recommend SheCodes Plus course. After completing all the lessons, homework and final project I feel that my coding skills are improving, especially the understanding of the coding logic. This motivate me to follow with the next SheCodes courses :)

For a total beginner, this was a challenging but excellent introduction to the practical applications of html/css/javascript and professional workflows. Having access to the Slack channel was a great advantage as I could get help when I got stuck and never felt like I couldn't get past the bugs I encountered in my own code. I've finished my final project feeling inspired and ready to dive into the React and Responsive workshops and keep building my new knowledge and skills.
I was looking for a way to ease into coding while not sacrificing the quality of learning content. SheCodes seemed like a great option and it went beyond my expectations! I loved the bite-size lectures and mini challenges that made things fun and doable. The online support I received from the staff was awesome. I really enjoyed every part of it, especially the final project. Also, I finally know how to use emojis anywhere 😎
Learning how to build the final project step by step is a great asset to keep up motivation throughout the course. A more personalised feedback on weekly homework could be a good improvement, though. Yet, this is a great coding bootcamp, definetely inspiring and truly empowering. I highly recommend it!

SheCodes has made me realise that there is more to coding than 'Hello World!', that you can actually enjoy coding and working on proects, and that I am not just terrible at coding. I am now able to look positively at new coding challenges and projects, and look forward to the process of getting the desired results! SheCodes is definitely a great place to get anyone started with coding! As someone who had ZERO experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I'm just amazed by the amount of content we covered in just 3 weeks. That is to say, the lessons are short and easy to follow and the projects are super fun. Highly recommend it!
SheCodes is very easy to follow, and the projects are really fun! I really enjoyed coding my final project, I challenged myself and following Matt's workshops created something I never thought I would be able to do after three weeks. I would highly recommend!
After accomplishing the first workshop, I was so eager to move forward. I got a little scared and struggled along the way, but it was worth it at the end. Looking at my final project I thought, I am capable of doing something that I thought was impossible. I'm looking forward for more.
The workshop helped me to evaluate and organize my programming knowledge. I've been working with html, css and JS for a while now, but they were rather primary than intermediate projects. Was it worth spending time and money? Of course, what a stupid question! 😄 Matt really do know how to teach step by step and nothing remains unexplained. Also the rest of the team is really helpful and kind. For sure I'll continue my training!

I found that SheCodes was the perfect way to learn to code and has given me some great skills to add to my resume. I am determined to continue to learn more coding languages and start a new career. Through this course I was eager to complete the projects and challenges and really experienced the high of when you put together a function, API call or click button and seeing that it works! I have proudly shown off my projects to my friends and family and have found that coding gives me a great sense of achievement. I've been in IT for over 22 years now, on the technical support side. I then moved into software development release cycle and project management. It always interested me, what goes into fixing bugs and how I could make software better or write myself. I found this course through a friends recommendation on the free course. I loved it! I then went on to do the workshop. As soon as my project for the workshop has been given the green light, I will sign up for the SheCodes Plus and the React course. It is such an easy course to follow, the interaction and deadlines really make all the difference. Thank you SheCodes!
SheCodes was an enjoyable experience. Had basic knowledge in some coding languages but didn't know where to apply them. Each project was fun and challenging and manageable while taking other online classes. I would highly recommend SheCodes workshop. :)

This workshop was totally worth it. I struggled with the final project and almost gave up but going back to the workshop videos, which were clear and thorough, helped a great deal. I feel like I just unlocked a new Super Power and I intend to grow it! I will definitely be signing up for the other advanced courses. This was challenging but fun! I'm proud that I pulled through. The videos and the challenges helped me understand more about functions and how they work as well as learning how to find useful resources for future projects. It was also interesting to learn the industry's workflow.

If you don't have any idea where to start from but want to learn about coding, I would highly recommend signing up to one of the workshops at SheCodes. The course is well structured with small tasks and then a final project at the end of each week. This way it is easier to distribute the workload through the week without feeling overwhelmed!
SheCodes Plus is INCREDIBLE! My friends who are professionals can't believe how far I've come and how quickly I have learned how to code a website and an app. Matt Delac is a fantastic teacher and makes it feel very easy, as well as so much fun. I can't wait to experiment and explore my new found skills and collaborate with other coders on some exciting projects!
Loved the final project, really challenged my knowledge of HTML, CSS & JS we had learnt so far, and I'm proud of my little weather app :) Better still I've been able to apply my learnings to personal projects.

I enjoyed this coding course and the final project. I did find some of the modules a real struggle to understand but I got there in the end.
I enjoyed SheCodes Plus very much, it was challenging at times but worked out in the end. Now I have a project to showcase my work to future employers and I'm thrilled about it.
I really enjoyed taking my javascript knowledge further in this course. It also gave me the opportunity to research things myself within the structure of a project, which has really broadened my skills.
For sure a more challenging course which kept me up until late in the night working on my code and wondering why some of my functions were just not working 🙈 However thanks to João from SheCodes everything worked out in the end. I am very happy with the result of my project and all in all it was a lot of fun!

It was a very interesting and enriching process. It's great that point where you realize that you understand all the code and can fix bugs yourself or include code that can improve the project. The lessons themselves are very complete and in case of doubts there is always an instructor ready to help.
I enter this workshop knowing that developer is all about math and no clue at all about HTML,CSS and JavaScript. I enjoy coding after finishing the final project and i will continue learning. Thank you SheCode for empowering woman and I learn a lot from the workshop❤️👩🏻💻
Manage your time wisely. It's hard and frustrating at times but once you get the projects done, it's a very good feeling! Also I will just add this, thank you to João! He helped me every time I was stuck somewhere, a real MVP!!
SheCodes broke down a huge amount of new information into learnable and workable chunks. Homework helped apply the new concepts immediately. I loved having the videos because I would go back and watch them when working on my final project.
It was great to see my 1st coding project ever coming to life! SheCodes Plus has been an amazing adventure to me. Challenges were of course part of it, but I still can't believe I made it to a functioning weather app. There's much more to learn about coding, but I'm glad I could learn some useful skills during the last 8 weeks.
I really enjoyed learning to create this project. It was very challenging, but I am determined to keep going. This is just the beginning😊
Great continuation of the SheCodes Basics workshop! I'm excited to use all my new skills in further projects and continue my coding journey by learning React.
The whole course of SheCodes Plus is a great starting point for all the coding beginners and maybe also for young specialists. I truly enjoyed it all the way, even though struggled at times. "For" loops, unit conversion, and 3h-forecast were my Everest 🏔. Nevertheless, I've made it to the very top and now getting ready for the new adventures with React 😱🥳 As for the SheCodes further development, I would love to work on more of such training projects, maybe on some different topics, with further functionalities. To my mind, this would help a lot to collect a pretty portfolio of projects for the students, as well as would serve as a powerful exercise to sort of automate all the gained knowledge :)
Just finished my SheCodes+ final project! This course was a great resource to learn HTML, CSS and Javascript. It was challenging, but the encouraging videos and the shared doubts and solutions in Slack really helped me to come through the process. I'm very excited to take the next step: enroll SheCodes React!
Despite my struggles to understand some JS (hehe), I really enjoyed building the project. I'm glad that I enrolled in SheCodes and looking forward to continuing in SheCodes React. Thanks to all the team for the support :)

A great journey that I had in SheCodes! I finished my final project in React and I really loved it! I had zero knowledge in coding but thanks to SheCodes, now I have knowledge in coding. Coding is not easy indeed, although with the right classes, exercises and chat support will make it easy and SheCodes has those qualities. I highly recommend SheCodes because Coding is and will be the future in our world.
Though the workshop was at times frustrating, I did learn a lot. I'm proud of the work I accomplished. My project goals were a little lofty for vanilla js, but I somehow made it work. 🤷🏾♀️ The only reason I gave 4/5 stars (it would have been 4.9/5 had the option been there) is because a lot of the content in the course material is a little outdated, but not so much so that it can't be dealt with. Overall, great class! I’m excited to enroll into SheCodes+ React and further my programming knowledge.
I would certainly recommend this course! It's very easy to follow the instructions in order to finish the challenges and projects at the end of the week! It can get a bit challenging at times but it's totally doable! I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!
The React course was definitely a lot more difficult than the other SheCodes workshops. Matt always does a great job of explaining everything as simply as possible, but I definitely still struggled a bit to conceptualize React. I had to do some more outside studying to help understand the context and how to best make React work in my project. I also felt like with this course, sometimes it was better to watch several videos at a time before making changes, instead of adding changes for each video, as sometimes something would "click" better after seeing the connections between several steps/concepts. All in all, SheCodes React was by far the most challenging, and frustrating at times, but not impossible with determination and with the Slack community support.
Another fantastic workshop led by a great teacher! The final project has given me great insight on Javascript, React and API's. SheCodes is not your typical coding/web development course - you have to come up with solutions and not just copy and paste code. When you are really stuck there is great level of support on Slack.
These last few months have been so difficult but somehow I was still able to get this project done and still figure out life during a pandemic. Truly can't wait to learn more and grow to be a front-end developer.
I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to start their adventure with coding, but also to those who just need some practice ;-) Great worskshops, fantastic platform! Homework projects aren't just copy&paste, you need to learn how to think outside the box when looking for a solution.

I highly enjoyed the Plus course. It really helped increase my understanding of javascript and the challenges provided great stepping stones to the final project. The API application was a great skill to learn and was applied in a useful way. I can't wait to do continue learning with SheCodes!
A well structured and organized workshop! It was challenging at first but you just have to keep going. The project was a fun way to practice what I learned. After completing the first project, I'm excited to learn more about what else I can do with code.

After seven years working for big corporations in logistic I have started my biggest project which is my family. I have two wonderful little kids which are actually owners of all my time. I am looking for new challenges in new areas (not to become completely crazy ) and coding was one of the things which I have always wanted to learn. Shecodes provides a program which is perfect for busy woman like all mothers are. I am super happy that i have decided to invest into that workshop. I am going to continue in studying because I find this area perfect for my future career.
SheCodes Plus program really helped me to gain a deeper insight on several topics such as JS(ES6), HTML, CSS, API, Bootstrap and GitHub, of web development. Very challenging 8 weeks which lead to a fully function weather app project. Thankyou team.

The course was amazing for beginners: an intuitive setup with great, short and easy understandable videos to learn all essential basics of coding combined with hands-on tasks and projects and a very logical and useful program structure. I loved that I could do everything at my own pace and was still motivated with the fixed deadlines and could get support whenever needed.
So far this was the best programming experience related to front-end development. Matt is an amazing teacher, the videos are well made and very well explained. The support that we receive on slack is good and I was happy that I also could help another students with doubts. I'm excited to finish this workshop, to add this project to my portofolio for future references and also excited to join the last workshop: React. Thank you all for your efforts in teaching us the joys of frontal-end development. :)
This was a fun intro class. It covers a lot of basics. The final project made me feel like I had made drastic progress because of the speed and ease at which I completed it. I am looking forward to the next workshop.

This last workshop was on a completely different level than the first one, but still exciting as always! Even though it was quite challenging sometimes, I learned a lot and the feeling of accomplishment I felt once I finished my project made everything a great experience overall!

The project was difficult but I learned a lot. Every time I repeated "try and error" and gradually I did noticed that my knowledge is growing! I still have many things to add or recreate but so far I am satisfied with what I accomplished and the lessons with SheCodes!
The course was quick, fun, and paced well so it was easy to follow along with each video. I loved learning each new skill and didn't notice how much I was able to do until my final project. Great experience!

SheCodes is amazing!!! It is enjoyable, easily informative and it is a coding education platform that ACTUALLY makes you WANT to do the work and put in the effort to code. I am very happy with all of my projects so far and whenever I have asked for assistance (ahem...wrong homework submission 🤦🏾♀️😆), it was given without hesitation. Matt is very patient and calm in his tone in the lesson videos. You also don't get the feeling that he's rushing you, which is useful when you're learning something like this and which I especially found helpful. The content is concise and easy to retain in my head and once you get the hang of it (which is easy to do with this course), it really lets your creativity go and you discover a whole new art form. Coding. The artistic flair of computing language. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to any woman who is taking up coding as a career path or even as a constructive and creative hobby. I love that SheCodes is fully online, so students can listen to the courses at any time! The lessons are organized and easy to follow. The projects after most lessons help reinforce the topics/ideas. Can't wait to continue learning how to code with SheCodes!

The three week workshop was really good to get the starting blocks for understanding how to put a website together, I'd like to have had a little more guidance on where to go with it next (other than plus!), but have really enjoyed working on my project :)
SheCodes flipped my preconceptions of coding on their head! As someone completely new to coding, the workshop taught me to appreciate the fun, creative, and technical aspects of coding all at once. I particularly enjoyed the ability to progress through the course at my own pace and the opportunities for creative autonomy in the final project. I would definitely recommend the SheCodes Workshop for the foundational knowledge it builds, and I'm looking forward to learning more!
