I really enjoyed building the dictionary app. I have learned so much from the add-on it is not easy however I have a much greater understanding after doing the React and the Add-on workshops.

The React Add-on project was a great way to learn how to 1) fetch data from multiple APIs and render it in the same application and 2) go through the process of trial-and-error-ing different public APIs that best suit your application.

I had an amazing experience creating my own React word dictionary app! Working with React allowed me to build a dynamic and responsive user interface, while integrating APIs for word definitions and image searches added a real-world functionality to my app. The step-by-step guidance and support I received while developing the app helped me gain a deeper understanding of React components, state management, and API requests. Matt puts everything we've learned from SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus, and SheCodes Responsive into two big React projects. It was challenging but also really fun to see my code come to life. If there is one thing I have taken away from this second project, it's that the best thing to do when one gets frustrated, is to step away for a few moments, relax or do something else, and when you return the answer often times just comes to you.

I really enjoyed this course which is a continuation of learning how to use functions when creating a web-site using react. The instructions are clear and but also challenging so that you can learn as much as possible whilst working through them.

Ooooof, this was much tougher. Not so much because of the material itself, that was fine, more so because I had to supplement a lot of Matt's Lessons with my own research due to how recent end ever-updating React is. I believe this, more than any other SheCodes Course gives us a true taste of what working as a developer is like. Suffered but earned satisfaction from this one.

The SheCodes workshop has not only taught me HTML, CSS, Javascript, React and many more technologies. When I say React showed me flames! It showed me flames! There were moments when I just felt like shutting my laptop and calling it. But I took breaks and rewatched Matt about a dozen times and I managed to get it down. I need to code more using react to better understand it but I now have a good basic understanding of it. The most understandable video lectures with step-by-step creation of projects contributed to a fairly easy perception of completely new and unfamiliar things for me. Responsive assistants and a community of students helped to resolve difficulties and issues. The last React workshop had a bit of a struggle, but in the end it worked out. Of course, it still takes a lot of practice for theory to become my skills, but a start has already been made.
React is definitely tough to learn but Matt simplifies things and explains them very well. I am so proud of my React weather app!
