This was the hardest of the four SheCodes Workshops I have completed, but if you are up for the challenge, it is a great way to learn React. After finishing this Workshop, I feel like I have a good understanding of using React and its many efficiencies.
Thanks for the React course. It's very cool, very practical. And in general, although all your courses are going without live calls, but recorded, this is not a drawback. Everything is clearly and understandably explained. Also I got help from Slack-chat. Of the minuses, in my opinion, there is a lack of a theoretical part and preparation for an interview, or any recommendation to IT companies. So that at the end the girl has a greater chance of finding a job. But still your course is very worthy and useful. I wish you progress and all the best ❤️ 🙌🏻
I was very interested in this course. All information is presented in a very simple and accessible way. I highly recommend SheCodes to all beginners. Now I'm looking forward to the next step - React.
Loved SheCodes React!
I was overwhelmed by Shecodes Plus, but thanks to Shecodes Responsive, things have made much more sense. Still have React, and I can't wait to use React to improve my portfolio.

Learning React was challenging and I'd like to thank Matt for creating lessons and challenges that really helped me understand the structure and flow of data in React. He also had encouraged me to look into third-party state managements & I had successfully learned how to implement one into my weather app. I love that this workshop contained two projects as it gave me the opportunity to improve my coding skills and add a dictionary applications to my portfolio. I highly recommend taking all SheCodes workshops. ❤
Here we are, the last SheCodes React Workshop is end. I learned so much advanced tools. With Matt Delac help I build React Weather App and React Dictionary App. This course was not easy, but so interesting and advancing. Now I'm in love in coding. I found myself in it. This course was the most interesting and challenging for me. Matt definitely has a talent for getting people interested in coding, this workshop was no exception. Of course, there is still a lot to learn in React, but the course was enough to create two projects - Weather and Dictionary. I highly recommend it to everyone who begins to explore React.
I started with SheCodes Basic and completed with SheCodes React! This has been a challenging yet encouraging experience. I gained valuable programming skills and knowledge, and the confidence to continue working towards becoming a Front-end developer!

My third workshop with SheCodes! This responsive workshop was challenging but I really liked it! I got to create my own portfolio website using everything that I learned so far. If you need to build a multi-page responsive website, this workshop is the way t go. I'm looking forward to the next challenge in the React workshop.
What a ride. I 110% recommend SheCodes, and I recommend that you start from the basics and move all the way to React. It really was a great journey, can't way to continue to create great web pages and apps. Wow! It's been an interesting journey so far. Learning JSX (React) is a simplified way of coding. I know I still need to practice more and I'll be good to go. With what you have taught me, I recently got a client who asked me if I could host a site and I proudly did and soon will be paid for it. I enjoyed the other SheCodes workshops (Basic and Plus), but the React workshop was very disappointing. The help from the SheCodes Slack channel was pretty apathetic - my questions and the questions of other students were often "answered" with really short and thoughtless responses that made it clear that the team was not actually looking very closely at our issues. At the time of writing this testimonial, React is on version 18, but Matt is teaching version 16 after making a big to-do about always teaching us the latest version. The changes between the two aren't that significant, but they were significant enough that it made completing challenges more difficult than they should have been. I am also appalled at how often I have heard "just Google it" during this course. I paid to learn React, have someone walk me through the terminology, and follow a step-by-step guide, NOT to read forum after forum of coding jargon I don't understand. It was also very disheartening to have to complete a weather application YET AGAIN after going through it once (or twice, if you count the last two weeks of the program) in the Plus course. All in all, I did learn about React during this course, but I feel completely unprepared to tackle it in any scenario outside of a weather app.
Completing SheCodes Plus feels like such a huge achievement! It was a very tricky module which makes me feel that much prouder for finishing it! Having the chance to work with live data was so cool I can't wait to get started with SheCodes responsive and react
Wow what a fun ride! Looking back 5 months ago when I first started this journey I knew nothing about coding, and now I'm able to build a weather app. This app looks simple but there was a lot of hard work behind it. Can't wait to learn more about React!

React has been really interesting to dive in, and we can also take the chance to improve the weather app we did from the Plus workshop! Always a pleasure to be learning from Matt and seeing how he is also learning together with us during the videos, and debugging issues we encounter at the same time. I learned a lot from all these workshops and really looking forward to see what I can do with my skills. I also appreciate the SheCodes team checking and following up with us on Slack to see how we are progressing at times as well. It is a great experience from the beginning to the end, and I will highly recommend people who are keen to jump into coding, this is one of the best places to start!
This responsive workshop was challenging but very fun! I got to design and code my own portfolio website and make it accessible across platforms, which will be helpful when job hunting in the future. I'm looking forward to the next challenge in the React workshop and to further my education!

I was a complete coding newbie when I came to SheCodes. I ended up purchasing the whole course. More expensive than some other choices so it took some thought, but I have absolutely no regrets. I have learnt so much in such a short amount of time. Having my work checked weekly is invaluable as someone with ADHD, having gentle structure has helped me immensely. Onto SheCodes React next and I’m really looking forward it.

Within the framework of the workshops, I have built my own portfolio containing various projects. Sometimes it was challenging but always very rewarding! Thank you SheCodes for the knowledge and the great time learning about Front-end Development! Even if this journey has come to an end, I will continue coding with confidence and excitement! This last workshop (React) was a tough one. But when you get the hang of it, it becomes a lot of fun. Personally, I find SheCodes React was the most challenging lesson especially the Dictionary App Project. But, the beauty in this is that there's always a room for learning and improving your skills. I always feel motivated to find the solutions for each challenges given in the lessons and aim to provide a creative and user-friendly app . This was my final SheCodes course, and probably the one I enjoyed the most. I had fun learning React and solving problems while working on my two projects. If I were to look back to when I started, I can appreciate how far I got and while my coding journey doesn't end with SheCodes, I'm happy it was a big part of my development into the world of coding. 👩🏻💻 Matt explained the concepts clearly and I would definitely recommend the React course if you already enjoyed vanilla JS.

Building the dictionary React App was the most fun I had throughout all my Shecodes workshops. As always, I got so much help from the Shecodes Team on slack that gave me the courage and confidence to break my code and experiment on my own without the worry of getting stuck and not finding my way out.
I have loved all the paths with SheCodes. It is so much fan and Matt has a nice way to teach coding, I am looking forward to taking the React course with SheCodes.

I really enjoyed all the SheСodes courses. The last one (React.js) was not easy, but still very interesting. I plan to continue making sites and work in this direction. SheСodes workshops were a very good start for me. Of course, you need to spend a lot of time on self learning, but with the course it is much easier.
Highly recommend this workshop to everyone! I find React more interesting and fun as I learn through the lessons. I've gained more knowledge about how React works with the advanced features. The workshop are definitely challenging sometimes but with all the resources and help that you can get from online and Slack, I find it very rewarding when I was able to figure out the codes and debug the errors.

I have had a great experience building Weather and Dictionary App. React is pretty advanced stuff and I spent hours finding the best appropriate solutions for the projects. The tasks were rather brainstorming and challenging. But I managed to cope with them. Thanks to SheCodes!

Another great learning process on coding in the React workshop. Getting to know different way of coding and gaining more knowledge of more advanced features. Quite challenging sometimes but with all the available resources, this made the self-learning process possible.

I love the flexibility around these courses, because I am working full-time and do my SheCodes coding in the evening and on the weekend. SheCodes React pushed my understanding of coding basics and allowed me to utilize the tools I'd learned in previous courses to create new and interesting projects. Classes were manageable in both time and complexity and I recommend to anyone who is considering a career in coding!
The course is very easy to follow and not too complicated to process the information. I like that even if you don't know how to make smth work you still need to investigate it by yourself first and only after that you can see the solution of the challenge. So probably it will stay longer in your memory. I can recommend it to people who want to get acquainted with React or want to transfer their projects to React. It's not a very deep React learning but a very smooth base.

Excellent React course with clear explanations and practice. I understand the basics of how to build applications with React and enjoyed creating my 2 projects.
SheCodes Responsive gave me a sense of becoming an actual web designer. As Matt provided the practical tools to build a website that is mobile friendly, I got to learn, practice, and actualize website development throughout the course. Since I have not touched on JavaScript, I am a bit concerned that I might have forgotten a lot of what I have learned previously😥 Notwithstanding, I am excited to move onto the next and the last course SheCodes React while solidifying what I have been learning with SheCodes.
This was my 4th SheCodes workshop and, just like the others, this was an amazing experience. It was my first time working with react, these courses are always a great way to start learning. You go step by step and, at the same time, understand the great power of each technology or tool.
