Crafting a Dictionary using React.js and API was a gratifying solo endeavor. Throughout the project, I meticulously honed my skills in both front-end development and API integration, resulting in a polished and user-friendly dictionary application.
I enjoyed the SheCodes React add-on course, finding it insightful. However, while the content was valuable, I felt that some topics were not covered in sufficient depth for a comprehensive understanding. Althoughthe course provided a solid foundation, with additional resources or further explanation, it could be even more beneficial. Overall, it was a positive learning experience with room for improvement.
I really struggled with react in the first few weeks, though I should say Matt is the best as I was able to finish all my Home works and the final project with less confusion compared to the first weeks...Thank You.
This workshop is a great add-on to React. I've really enjoyed using React, I really like having the coded organized by Elements and I feel that once you understand the mechanics it's even better then pure javascript. I really liked playing around the dictionary api and went an extra mile to have interactive buttons to reproduce phonetics.

No doubt this course is challenging. The thing about Bootcamps before you get or when you start getting familiar with one technique you're already moving on to the next.That's how I feel about vanilla javascript and react. But don't get me wrong there are things I like about React. I like how with React we can break code down into separate components makes it look a lot more readable and understanding. But if you already feel very good in javascript and want to learn something new, then you should take this course.

This learning process from being introduced to coding to learning React has been an enjoyable one, and one that I'm glad I took.
SheCodes React Workshop is a great way of learning a lot of react basics. Thanks to the many small challenges after each unit, you can apply what you have learned very quickly and later integrate it very well into the final project which is a lot of fun.
In this course I have learned important fundamentals of React.js, such as UseState, UseEffekt, properties, conditional rendering, Api integration and so on. My learning journey was exciting but at some points challenging. Loved the structure and flexibility of the course.
I found react hard at first! But with a lot of practice, it became easier and I understand the structure a lot better.
SheCodes React was very challenging and rewarding! I appreciate how everything is explained step-by-step and I am able to go back and review areas when needed.

The SheCodes React module is a must complete. Challenging & attention demanding, it bothered me more than I'd like to admit for the first three weeks, but when it sunk in? Oh! So satisfying! It really highlighted how comfortable and confident I had become with coding regular JavaScript. Matt's instructions are always clear and concise, and when even that wasn't working I used the support of the SheCodes Slack channels to understand where I was going wrong. Spoiler alert, I was forgetting to restart the server. I am very excited to add the React Weather Search Engine to my Portfolio.
The course was structured to make complex concepts easy to understand, and by the end, I had created my own dictionary project. Not only did this course reinforce my understanding of React fundamentals, but it also inspired me to explore more about it. For someone that is learning react for the first time, this workshop is definitely very useful and helpful. I joined this workshop because I wanted to get more exposure and learn more as I was given tasks to work on React environment and I took so much time understanding it as I have 0 knowledge but this workshop definitely added more knowledge to me and making me more confident in completing my tasks in the future!

I think since joining SheCodes, this was definitely the most challenging for me. I had to remind myself that I am learning this for the first time therefore extending grace to myself was necessary. With re-watching the classes, constant practising and a present and supportive SheCodes team, I build an entire Weather-app using react!!
React was definitely challenging but, as always, the lessons broke down the content into manageable chunks. As frustrating as it got at some points, it was equally as enjoyable. I definitely have more practice to do but this was a great starting point and I'm happy I've gained this knowledge.

It's a great experience and step by step I created this amazing weather app! There is a long way to go and learn lots of new things in JS and React. But this course is great way to show that step by step we can do this!

At first, I found the React class to be quite challenging, to the point where I almost considered quitting. Despite not fully grasping every concept immediately, I am incredibly grateful that I persevered through the difficulty because it was undeniably worth it. The challenges I faced throughout the course ultimately made me a stronger developer, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have learned and grown through the SheCodes React class.
This SheCodes workshop taught me so much about React and gave me the confidence to step out of my comfort zone in my coding. Whenever I felt like my head was spinning, I took breaks and let the information sink in (something that is incredibly important). I cannot wait to start the add-on project for this workshop as I had a lot of fun building the final project application.

Learning how to use React is important in today's world. I'm happy that I know a little more about it so that I'm not too intimidated to try it on my own. This workshop is a nice beginner's introduction to React. I plan on continuing my learning of React now that I have a basic foundation.

I've really enjoyed the React workshop, it's definetly the most challenging one so far but once you understand the workflow it's even better/easier then using pure javascript. Attending the SheCodes React workshop was not an easy experience for me at all. I got the hang of the basics, but I'm still figuring out how to apply everything smoothly. It's clear I need to keep learning, maybe even beyond the workshop, to truly get React. I'm feeling motivated to dive deeper and see where it takes me!

Creating a fully functional weather app using React was an ambitious undertaking for me, but with the guidance and support of my tutor, I was able to turn my vision into reality. Initially, I found myself grappling with the complexities of React and navigating the intricacies of integrating various APIs to fetch weather data. However, with my tutor's patient and insightful guidance, I gradually gained a deeper understanding of React's core concepts and best practices.

This was challenging but definitely fun to learn. It's only the beginning, coding requires practice and patience and this workshop was a good example of this. During this workshop I focused more on learning rather than styling because react is very useful but also very tricky, so I encourage other students to focus on understanding how the app works and practice and practice harder each time. Through various projects, I've leveraged React to build feature-rich applications, noticing a marked improvement in performance and maintainability. This certification has not only expanded my technical toolkit but also opened new avenues in front-end development, reinforcing my confidence in tackling more ambitious projects.
The dictionary app project, in my opinion, fell short of exploring more comprehensive and challenging concepts that could have been beneficial for reinforcing advanced React skills. It seemed like a missed opportunity to delve deeper into the intricacies of React. On the positive side, the course did offer a platform to practice and consolidate the skills acquired in the initial React course. The incorporation of API fetching added a practical dimension to the learning experience, allowing us to implement real-world data into our projects. However, I believe there was untapped potential for a more sophisticated and multifaceted project that could have elevated the learning experience.
I'm so proud of myself for how much I know up to this point, and so grateful to the SheCodes team for such an amazing workshop! I am looking forward to taking React classes!

This project was a lot of fun, and have a good idea of how complex larger React projects can be, as well as some (much needed) practise in using states, functions and props. I've actually come to enjoy React, it's quite nice to divide your code up into sections. I think I'll definitely need to supplement with some additional study, but it was an excellent introduction to React.

React was a remarkable course to complete. The course content was thoroughly structured and Matt provided invaluable insight into React development. This made things more understandable for me, and it also encouraged me to not give up. This React final project helped me consolidate my understanding and proficiency in React.
Learning React is not easy. It takes a lot of practice and understanding. I was learning it while doing my freelance work. The great thing is it is very flexible, timewise.
