I had a lot of fun using react and learning the ins and outs. It's challenging at first but becomes easier the more you use it. It opens up a ton of new and exciting npms which are ready to be used. I feel it has helped me to improve my coding as a whole.
This course is extremely rewarding and challenging experience. The support and experience within the SheCodes community and support team has truly been amazing. I had a lot of fun taking the React course. I'm excited to apply to jobs, using my newly gained coding skills. Thank you again for the endless support on Slack!!
This is my third workshop with SheCodes. I've completed Basic, Plus and now Responsive. When concluding each one of them, the thought was always the same: great teaching method and good monitoring by the professors that make me have more and more interest in the area, even coming from a completely different area. I always thought that programming is something that is very hard to understand, but as soon as I started, I realized that actually, it is very interesting and creative! This React course was the most challenging of the workshops, but I got a real kick out of finding solutions to create the different apps. It's a great follow-on from the Plus course, as it takes a lot of the JS knowledge acquired and shifts it to show how to set up clean, efficient code in the component model. It's also given me a push to re-engage with JS and learn more with further projects. Would definitely recommend!
It was truly one of the best learning journeys in my life and I absolutely enjoyed it while mastering very useful html, css, javascript and specially react skills. one of my favorite parts was the challenges. the challenges kinda forced me to practice every new technique right after Matt teaches us and you might underestimate it but it was very helpful for getting the handle of complex issues for me. so I definitely recommend it and I hope SheCodes Workshops expand for more sophisticated skills so I can learn more stuff with SheCodes.
SheCodes Plus was definitely challenging but really worth it. You learn so many skills and Matt has an excellent way of taking you step by step through and almost getting you to teach yourself. I really enjoyed it! Looking forward to React now!
8 months ago I started with the SheCodes Basics workshop and now I am graduating from the React workshop. Thank you Matt for the captivating yet informative classes and to Bruno and João for the endless support on Slack!!
It was a long time since I had coded but since joining SheCodes last year, I was sure I was going to pursue this to the end. The course material is well organized and clear making it easy to follow. The step by step challenges makes it easy to reassess your understanding. I have also learnt a lot talk of APIs, design and bootstrap. I love SheCodes! I Cannot wait to learn react. My front end developer journey has just began.

Now that I have finished all the 4 modules, I can say that this workshop is totally worth it. I started with ome experience in coding, but nothing related to react or more profesional tools, and I finished very proud of everything that I have learned and accomplished. All the resources are so helpful! Even the community on Slack! I really recommend this workshop for begginners and for people who wants to expand what they already know.
This was my favourite course so far! I loved being able to design and then code my own website, and seeing the final project made me realise how far I had come in these three courses. React here I come!
Good introduction to React, but felt sometimes a bit rushed. I would have preferred to have a few weeks more time to learn and train what was covered in the course. I still enjoyed learning React and would recommend it to anyone interested in coding, and will keep training at my pace in the future - React and other technologies. I believe SheCodes provides an excellent basis to later be able to keep learning more technologies by oneself. I recently looked at SCSS, Vue and some more technologies and understood some of them, which felt amazing as I did not even write a single line of HTML 6 months ago!

The more and more I learn about coding the more intrigued I feel. I've always loved a good challenge and coding has definitely tested my patience but the feeling when something works is the greatest! This portfolio project has really put all my knowledge to the test and I've learned so much about myself. I now have the confidence to build other portfolios and responsive websites. I intend to keep practicing those skills by offering a helping hand to friends who may benefit from a website portfolio or responsive website. I've come so far since I first started in January and it's only the start! Next stop... React! I can't wait to continue learning on my coding journey!
Learning React has been a great experience, very interesting, not without challenges, but definitely worth it. The final project was a great and fun way to practice all the tools learned. Now it's over, I wish the course had been a bit longer!
I am truly excited to use what I learned about React and use it into a career! The modules were very easy to follow and the repetition helped consolidate the information in my mind. I am very excited to see what my life will entail within this new career lane.

As a developer it has been very rewarding for me to have gotten to know and use React to create interactive user interfaces in a simple way and practice when coding has allowed me to improve in JavaScript. React is an excellent tool with which to create interactive applications for mobile, web and other platforms with a simpler design view. It also efficiently updates and renders the correct components when data changes.
Great course to get started with react. I had absolutely no trouble getting into the framework with these well-organised videos and assignments. Overall, SheCodes is a perfect way to start coding if you have absolutely 0 knowledge and experience with it. I am very grateful for this opportunity and the new hobby that I discovered through them.

I enjoyed the SheCodes Basic workshop. Matt has a good way of explaining. He takes a bit of a bird's eye approach to explain the basics and gives you plenty of space to figure things out, learn, and experiment with your code. I definitely had fun while learning. I have to say SheCodes Responsive was my favourite course so far. I enjoyed the Basics and Plus but I absolutely loved all the handy hints and tricks and hacks that we learnt in Responsive, and of course, how to produce Responsive webpages which is so important these days with all the different devices in use. Quite a few times I'd stop and think 'How cool is that!!' The tutorials to work through completing our own webpage were so helpful and really broke it down step by step. I'm so excited to continue on to React and to hopefully one day embark on a career in developing. Thank you Matt for a brilliant course!

SheCodes React is a good starting point to learn about React, to get to know most of the concepts needed. Lessons are well-explained.
The React workshop was very interesting and though it seemed difficult at first, with baby steps method by Matt, at the end it was satisfactory to learn.
3 months ago I did not know anything about coding and now I finished my first project and it feels great to learn and achieve something new! Compared to Basics, Plus workshop was of course bit more challenging but I went back to the videos and followed Matt and I could make everything work in the end. I can't wait to continue with the React workshop!

SheCodes React was my last set of tutorials and it allowed me for a huge step up in my coding knowledge, having taught how to host my own website online. I very much enjoyed the experience once again and would love to make use of my newly developed coding skill really soon.

I've learned so much since I have started my SheCodes journey back in January. SheCodes Responsive was really awesome and I learned a ton. I cannot wait to finish off with SheCodes React. The best part about Responsive is having the final project be a portfolio that I will be able to use once I am ready to start applying to jobs.

I can't believe I built two react apps by the end of this course! I know there's so much more to learn but the progress I made in just a few months are incredible. This workshop has been my favorite yet! I love working with JavaScript React; it has so much potential. I was a bit intimidated going in as I heard JavaScript React is hard. SheCodes Basics was an amazing introduction to coding! I'm very excited to move on to my next workshop of Plus React! This final course was such a good challenge. I know I still need to learn more, but I don't think I could have done it without this course as a basepoint. I'm really happy I finished this and added a basic understanding of React to my knowledgebase.
React is a challenging workshop and more focused on the two projects you work on, but you really learn a lot. As always, the support you get is great :) If you enjoyed Plus, this course is a good choice.
I'm so glad I fought through this one! It was more difficult, but I appreciate the chance to understand React and how it differs from standard JS. I will soon be launching a web design business with my husband because of all that I've learned over the past year. I can definitely say that I'm confident enough to understand and sell our product and manage client portfolios. I have come a long way with the amazing skills I have now. This was a wonderful experience.
This was my 3rd SheCodes workshop and I loved it! The final project was so much fun and so useful. I was able to make a multiple pages website responsive and create a portfolio I can update and use to share my work! Really looking forward to learn React.

SheCodes Responsive was such a steep learning curve, but I enjoyed every bit of it! The lessons in this module are very well structured and easy to understand, which is probably why I thought I could finish it in no time :) But, little did I know! Working on the final assignment (portfolio project) was when the struggle got real :) It was challenging and sometimes overwhelming when I would get stuck with a coding problem longer than anticipated, but looking back I can see how far I've actually come, which is an awesome feeling that makes all of the struggle worth :) Designing and coding your project from scratch, having to review lessons over and over again and googling for solutions is what makes you learn and grow, which might not feel like that immediately, but you're getting there, 100%! :) See you in the React course! :)
Sad it's over but so happy that I did it! The SheCodes React workshop was my favourite one of them all. I feel that I achieved a lot during this course and I can't wait to put what I have learnt into practice.

The projects I worked on gave me great opportunities to dive deeper into React. It was a fun but challenging time, and I highly recommend this course to anyone who is determined to go through the problem solving journey.
React is not easy; however, the key concepts will be repeated over and over again during the building of the projects throughout the course. You will eventually get used to it and maybe even get the hang of it . This course is packed with information. I like how Matt always gets straight to the point and teaches you the most practical basics. And he is not afraid of showing his mistakes while lecturing coding. I appreciate that, so I can also learn from his mistakes. I am glad I took this course; otherwise, I wouldn't know I like React better than JavaScript.
I've had a great time learning React and can't wait to use it more regularly in my coding practices. I definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to become a front-end developer!
Past eight weeks in React Workshop have been my last with SheCodes, but not least. It was not easy sometimes, but once you get a grip on it, the whole new world will suddenly open. The lessons are well structured. As always, the whole team is here to help. It is definitely a great addition to the Basic, Plus and Responsive and I am proud to showcase my project in the future.
It was quite a journey for me from the beginning until React. I can see that there's still a long way to go on this path which I'd like to keep going and try my best. It was a meaningful journey for a beginner like me to learn React, one of the most promising and popular tools in the IT field, and to make the actual application. It was difficult to understand at first but as I am making my own app with advice and guidance from Slack SheCodes community, I was not afraid of making mistakes. I feel it is still not enough to be confident but it is a good start.
Seeing my progress over the past few months has been so rewarding. This course really taught me about making a multiple page website that looks good on a laptop, tablet, and phone! Along with learning more about bootstrap. Matt and the team here are very helpful whenever you encounter any roadblocks. I have enjoyed my journey so far! Now onto the next course to learn about react. 🤗
This was my third SheCodes course that I have completed and I am amazed at how far I have come in such a short time! With Matt's instruction and the guidance by the instructors on Slack whenever I have a question, I have gone from zero coding knowledge to having built a portfolio in a few months.
