This workshop made me able to build an app with react and node, wich I think is an huge skill to empower my portofolio. This was the most challenging project until now, but I'm glad to made it.

Initially, React was a little tough to follow along with, being that it was new to me. As always, Matt explains things in a way that just makes you get it. Although I ran into issues along the way which is to be expected, by the end of this workshop I truly grew to enjoy React! I will definitely continue learning more about it. I loved the React classes because there was repetition from project to project, which was crucial to remember how to do many of the React functions. They were challenging but the projects were practical and fulfilling once done. Thank you!
SheCodes React is yet another SheCodes course I would highly recommend for anyone looking to start or further their coding knowledge. The step-by-step instructions and pace of the course make it easy to grasp, and I feel encouraged to take my own liberties as I see fit while building the app.

I probably struggled to wrap my head around React the most out of the SheCodes courses so far, but I don't think that was helped by taking on a separate unrelated project at the same time! The flexibility of the course let me take my time with lessons and go back when I was perhaps a little distracted. React is definitely going to be a useful tool and I've enjoyed rebuilding my weather app this way. I'm looking forward to using it more in future!

SheCodes Basics Add-On was a fun way to review some of the basic concepts I learned when I started SheCodes last summer, plus some cool new concepts! This workshop showed me just how much I have learned thus far and it makes me feel proud of my accomplishments (from Basics to React). Great addition and would highly recommend anyone who feels unsure about continuing their coding journey after the Basics program.
I have done SheCodes Basics, Basics Addon, Plus, Responsive and React so far. I find that this Plus Addon was nicely built on top of what I learned during the Plus workshop. I'm sure I can utilize these JavaScript skills in my future projects! :) Once again, the workshop was executed in an easy-to-understand way, so building the project went smoothly. Thank you!

I have particularly enjoyed this course because it's definitely boosted my confidence when it comes to JS functions. I do admit React can be quite counterintuitive at times but Matt has done an excellent job at explaining the process step-by-step. I am so very grateful to SheCodes for everything I have learned, I can't wait to learn more about React as it's definitely the field I would like to steer my career towards.
I am so grateful to this course for showing me React. I really enjoyed the React course, and though I found vanilla Javascript challenging, React's simplicity surprised me. The lessons were clear and well-paced, with enough time provided to finish the course within the allotted time frame. I am so happy with the final version of my Weather App, though I am sure there is so much more I can do once I develop my React knowledge.
It was damn hard and took a lot of time to understand and finish 2 projects but it was really interesting) React and JS give such a huge field to try some new stuff and to do some experiments. Sometimes I was just losing track of time) But the course is really giving a lot of new knowledge and practical experience) Definitely will recommend it to my friends)
Round 3 of SheCodes workshops was as informative, interesting and entertaining as the first. I was able to use many of the HTML and CSS techniques we learned in Basics and Plus. I really enjoyed the creative freedom we got for this portfolio project. Though there were some moments of confusion and stress with my code, I was able to pull through with the help of Matt's lecture videos and the slack chats of fellow SheCodes students. I am really happy with my project and I can't wait to start on SheCodes React and Add-on projects.
I loved this workshop! I feel so much more prepared and knowledgeable on React, especially on VSCode, and feel like I can even start making my own projects on my own :) I will take what I've learned into new coding endeavors and future jobs!

Seeing my first React projects live and working is a huge satisfaction, I have to admit. However, during the SheCodes React workshop, I felt I couldn't gain organic skills, as some crucial pieces of information were missing and some topics were treated quite hastily.
I definitely had a lot of fun while learning and creating React Dictionary App. A little bit sad it is already over 😔

I built a weather app using React that shows real-time forecasts for any city. It fetches live data from an API, displays current and future weather conditions, and even includes a dynamic weather icon that changes based on the forecast. Through this project, I strengthened my skills in React hooks (useState, useEffect), API integration, and responsive design. The course needs more in depth explanations of why the instructor is making certain choices instead of the phrase "trust me" which is used many times. For the price, I feel the course should offer a lot more information on how React actually works, currently it seems that it is a very "copy what I do" style of teaching which in the long run is not helpful for aspiring devs.
It was great experience to built a React Project. A lot of work and challenging tasks. It is a start of great coding journey!

At the beginning, React seemed to me very incomprehensible and complicated. But thanks to the step-by-step and clear explanations at the end of this course, I can be called a real fan of this.
I absolutely loved the SheCodes Responsive Course. Matt is an excellent teacher. Not only did I learn how to make a website more responsive, but I also learned how to make websites more SEO friendly. Cannot wait to move onto the React course.

After completing almost all SheCodes workshops (including React), the Responsive workshop has to be one of my favorites! I learned so many more CSS, and Bootstrap skills that the other workshops lacked, and I feel that I can apply what I learned here across various areas in the future. I do wish I had taken the Responsive workshop before I took the React workshop (my initial package didn't include the Responsive one), as the Responsive taught me so many excellent skills that I wish I could apply to the latter. I highly recommend this workshop and SheCodes overall!

Building an application in React was as fun as it was challenging, but I learned a lot. The code can be a lot more sophisticated then it seems and the use of logic is so much more prominent. I enjoyed this workshop as much as those before React.

I learnt a lot from the React add-on weeks...to be honest I felt challenging even harder before since it is quite confusing and didn't get it clearly. Although I finished all the lessons and am waiting for the Next week, I am always ready to review what I have done whenever I need to. React workshop is a simple and a quick way to start coding. It has allowed me to understand better the "coding world" and it certainly will help me on my work when I have to deal with coders. This workshop was a smooth transition into what can come next after learning web development. Tools we used from previous workshops were brought back plus new features. React was a little tricky at first but you are guided every step of the way and this workshop helps make implementing this tool more manageable.
It was an extraordinary journey with SheCodes from exceptionally little information in coding to a professional level. Now I am certain sufficient to work on it. As ReactJS is utilized worldwide these days, it's an awesome resource to learn and the incredible explanation by Matt makes a difference to clear the concept.
