I really enjoyed learning React. Matt broke down complicated concepts and workflows in really helpful videos. It was really easy to follow, the projects were really fun and challenging, and the team support throughout the workshop was really helpful and responsive. Great course!

SheCodes React Workshop is one of the best courses I have taken. Matt guides you through lessons in a way that you can easily understand what you are doing and why. In these few weeks you learn how to build complex and advanced apps with React by starting as a complete beginner. A course that I would genuinely recommend to someone who is just starting their journey in programming.

Another great workshop from SheCodes 🌟 learning React was by far the most challenging workshop but very rewarding when you get your "eureka" moments after being stuck. I can't thank Matt and the team enough for these workshops and for providing a pathway for complete beginners to enter the world of coding 👩‍💻 thank you!

I think that React definitely needs more lessons. An interesting experience nonetheless, looking forward to expanding my knowledge.

SheCodes React has been challenging but also very fun. I have fully enjoyed learning from Basics to Pro. I highly recommend SheCodes as a starter workshop to get into coding. They make it easy to understand and fun with the cool projects!

Thank you SheCodes Responsive!! I have enjoyed this workshop immensely; after 8 weeks of SheCodes Plus, this was a great workshop to learn more but not too much in 5 weeks! I love the fact that I was still using techniques and elements we learned in the Basic and Plus workshops as well. I loved this project so much (I was dreaming, literally, of all the different ways I could tackle this project), there was so much room for creativity and really making it your own. Learning React was quite something. I could have never imagined myself using sophisticated technologies like React.js, but here I am. SheCodes responsive workshop has been such an exciting as well as challenging workshop. I have learnt advanced techniques of making responsive webpages. I highly recommend SheCodes React! The lesson challenges and projects were great incorporations of hands-on learning. The material is clearly and concisely presented, and Matt's style of teaching is very engaging and demonstrates a multilayered understanding of effective communication, inviting students to thoroughly interact with, connect to, assimilate, and apply the learning material in each lesson and project. The SheCodes team was incredibly helpful, always answering questions quickly and effectively clarifying any points of confusion or uncertainty with the learning material and projects. React was definitely more difficult than the rest of the sections, but was definitely worth it, and Matt made it easy to follow along. I'm incredibly glad I did this course, as it's taught me a lot, now hoping Ill be able to get a job from this.

I found the explanations a bit too fast from time to time but with a little research I was able to figure it out. This workshop was very challenging for me. However, I feel I now have a great framework to build on in my React journey. As usual, the lessons are very informative and Matt breaks concepts down into easier to understand morsels. Definitely recommend but be prepared to put in the work!

I had a great time learning everything from CSS to HTML to responsive to react. React is hard but Matt does a great job of breaking it down and making it understandable and exciting to learn. I feel very comfortable moving forward into the world of front end development.

I have loved getting to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript more in depth during the SheCodes Plus course. While this course was more challenging, I never felt too overwhelmed and always got quick responses on Slack when I was stuck. I look forward to moving on to the SheCodes React course next!

I had an absolute blast with the SheCodes Responsive course. The first thing that happened was my mind was completely blown when I learned about Boostrap css utility classes AND how easy it is to modify code for web responsive experiences. I heavily rely on these two things when I am building webpages now! I am a UX designer learning coding and use Figma daily. I am usually tasked with designing wireframes and desktop and mobile screens. It is really cool that now I know how developers take my design and code them. I loved that portion of the course when Matt showed us a Figma file and how the developer pokes through it - which also reinforces the importance of a clean design file! I found myself using the skills I am learning in the SheCodes workshops at work, and I have started working with our developers on my designs and found it easier to explain my stuff to them. I also find myself coding on evenings and weekends for fun, too! For any UX designers, I would say Responsive is THE course to take so you get a better idea of what happens to your designs when they are getting built, what developers looks for, and how it can make working with them fun and rewarding to make impactful features and products. Especially when it comes to responsive experiences! Thanks again SheCodes crew and Matt! I'll be seeing you next week in SheCodes React!

This workshop was definitely more challenging, working with React was awkward at first but it presents the code in a simpler and "cleaner" way! I could see that we can learn something new, such as coding (that seems impossible to learn at the first sight) but I know I still have a lot more to learn, it's a whole world that I don't know half of yet! In the end, it was fun and I learned a lot! Thank you SheCodes and Matt!

SheCodes made me feel welcome and encouraged to explore my potential. I finished classes with more confidence and enthusiasm than any other course I've ever taken in my life (even more than college!!). A much more advanced course that thoroughly covers React. Make sure you join the Slack channels as APIs can change, and the team is very quick to provide helpful answers on how to adjust your code to these changes if you can't figure it out yourself. Very supportive community.

It's been great learning how to code from Matt. I feel like I've learned more from Matt than from some of the coding courses that I had to take for university. The weather app has been really fun to learn (frustrating at times) but I look forward to going back to learn it again from Matt and personalizing my weather app better for my portfolio. React was definitely the most challenging of my SheCodes workshops, but I am happy to be leaving with two projects I can be proud of. SheCodes has taken me from a person with literally no coding experience to someone who can't wait to get home and work on coding.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the React workshops. The last few months were challenging but fun. I can see the progress and improvement in each project! My goal in 2022 was to learn react, which I was struggling to do. Finally I achieved it!

It's the first time that I use React and I have to admit that was really straightforward. The instructor explains the code and modules step by step. Moreover, it was really funny to design my own web page. I can't wait to apply all the knowledge that I obtained during the workshop in my future projects.

I would recommend this course for anyone who is really interested in coding. React made a lot things easier than vanilla js but at the same time felt like it's very complex. Learnt a lot from this course and thanks matt for being amazing teacher.

The React course is the third course I have taken at SheCodes. It was very difficult in between and often you had to take a short break. After that it went on very well and after each video you became more confident and understood React more. I can only highly recommend the course and am glad that I was able to do it. For me React is where the real power begins. It's definitely worth trying! Even though I have a lot of learning ahead of me, thanks to this workshop I have a good unerstanding of how React works and feel comfortable using it.

SheCodes+ definitely took things on another level. Sometimes I unconsciously felt that this is getting too complicated by using the same simple tools of HTML, CSS and JS which Matt introduced in SheCodes Basic, but he mentioned several times that there are other advanced tools like React to get the same result easier, but this is meant to really dive deep into basics and to get to the level when things finally clicked and you profoundly understand some coding concepts you have been lost in previously. Even though coding here was a lot of fun, needless to say sometimes it got little frustrating and very time-requiring. As a perfectionist I used Google a lot, as I wanted include things there were no time to explain in main videos. I will for sure continue with other courses, as I can already see how this become more and more interesting!

Thank you very much for the whole course, I regret that the react section was so short overall because it was very interesting everything I learned.

I had a lot of fun using react and learning the ins and outs. It's challenging at first but becomes easier the more you use it. It opens up a ton of new and exciting npms which are ready to be used. I feel it has helped me to improve my coding as a whole.

This React course was the most challenging of the workshops, but I got a real kick out of finding solutions to create the different apps. It's a great follow-on from the Plus course, as it takes a lot of the JS knowledge acquired and shifts it to show how to set up clean, efficient code in the component model. It's also given me a push to re-engage with JS and learn more with further projects. Would definitely recommend!

It was truly one of the best learning journeys in my life and I absolutely enjoyed it while mastering very useful html, css, javascript and specially react skills. one of my favorite parts was the challenges. the challenges kinda forced me to practice every new technique right after Matt teaches us and you might underestimate it but it was very helpful for getting the handle of complex issues for me. so I definitely recommend it and I hope SheCodes Workshops expand for more sophisticated skills so I can learn more stuff with SheCodes.

8 months ago I started with the SheCodes Basics workshop and now I am graduating from the React workshop. Thank you Matt for the captivating yet informative classes and to Bruno and João for the endless support on Slack!!

It was a long time since I had coded but since joining SheCodes last year, I was sure I was going to pursue this to the end. The course material is well organized and clear making it easy to follow. The step by step challenges makes it easy to reassess your understanding. I have also learnt a lot talk of APIs, design and bootstrap. I love SheCodes! I Cannot wait to learn react. My front end developer journey has just began.

Now that I have finished all the 4 modules, I can say that this workshop is totally worth it. I started with ome experience in coding, but nothing related to react or more profesional tools, and I finished very proud of everything that I have learned and accomplished. All the resources are so helpful! Even the community on Slack! I really recommend this workshop for begginners and for people who wants to expand what they already know.

This was my favourite course so far! I loved being able to design and then code my own website, and seeing the final project made me realise how far I had come in these three courses. React here I come!

Good introduction to React, but felt sometimes a bit rushed. I would have preferred to have a few weeks more time to learn and train what was covered in the course. I still enjoyed learning React and would recommend it to anyone interested in coding, and will keep training at my pace in the future - React and other technologies. I believe SheCodes provides an excellent basis to later be able to keep learning more technologies by oneself. I recently looked at SCSS, Vue and some more technologies and understood some of them, which felt amazing as I did not even write a single line of HTML 6 months ago!

Really highly recommend! Matt is an amazing teacher. I love learning React and making my projects, it was so much fun!

The more and more I learn about coding the more intrigued I feel. I've always loved a good challenge and coding has definitely tested my patience but the feeling when something works is the greatest! This portfolio project has really put all my knowledge to the test and I've learned so much about myself. I now have the confidence to build other portfolios and responsive websites. I intend to keep practicing those skills by offering a helping hand to friends who may benefit from a website portfolio or responsive website. I've come so far since I first started in January and it's only the start! Next stop... React! I can't wait to continue learning on my coding journey!

Learning React has been a great experience, very interesting, not without challenges, but definitely worth it. The final project was a great and fun way to practice all the tools learned. Now it's over, I wish the course had been a bit longer!
