SheCodes is a great way to gain a basic understanding of how coding works! I learned a lot in these three weeks! It's a lot of work, but you'll gain a lot of learning from it and a whole lot of fun too! I recommend this to anyone that's simply curious about what coding is.
It was much more basic than I thought it would be. I would recommend it to a friend who is unconfident and inexperienced with coding, but if they are somewhat familiar with it, I would not.
I had no doubts about taking SheCodes Plus once I finished the initial workshop because of how much I enjoyed the learning process and I am glad I did! The class is super organized and extremely well thought out. The step by step structure allows you to learn efficiently - the class is challenging but not overwhelming because of how well it's set up. The team is also super helpful on Slack - I always had my questions answered every time I hit a roadblock. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning to code!
This is a great program for coding beginners! I was able to complete the program while working full time. The lessons were easy to follow yet homework assignments were challenging enough. I'd definitely recommend this program to anyone who is genuinely curious about coding and would like to have fun while learning!

Great opportunity to start coding and made first project. The lessons are really understandable for person who hasn't got IT degree. Moreover you can always ask for help on slack if you have any problems with your code. I recommend that course if you want to try yourself in web developing.

I've always wanted to learn how to code. However, most of my friends told me that coding was way too difficult. Luckily I discovered SheCodes and can now prove them wrong 💪 I really enjoyed this workshop as it is very well structured and easy to understand. I particularly liked the fact that after almost every lesson there was a task to be solved 🤓 I totally recommend SheCodes to all women with no coding background! 🤩

This coding workshop is very easy to understand and I really enjoy it! Especially got the deadline to submit homework. (I know you might think is weird but I found that I enjoy this challenge!) I have learned HTML/CSS before but that time I wasn't interested(+busy) to dive deep into it. I totally recommend who has no coding background start learning at SheCodes.
I would Highly recommend this workshop! I wanted to know the basics of programming and now I feel that not only I learned the basics but I could actually apply them in a project that I am proud of. Being a liberal arts major, who has zero background in anything tech, this 3 week course gave me an opportunity to discover a skill I never thought of gaining. I enjoyed how beginners friendly this course was. The fact that that it was only 3 weeks long, it was easy for me to commit. I enjoyed how each lesson had a challenge and homework which made me feel productive and wanting more. I appreciate how thoughtful Matt was when creating this course as it allowed me to feel less intimidated of tech especially coding. I recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to step out of their comfort zone!

I wouldn’t recommend the workshop to people who already been through computer science class especially React. On the other hand I highly recommend this workshop for people who want to learn React or take their first steps into programming / development. I had fun during this workshop, it was nice to challenge myself and to try new things, as well as to improve my knowledge. The team is always ready to support you, even with problems that I had created myself by creating the project differently than requested, because I wanted to challenge myself a bit more. Thanks to you all, it was a fun time.
I would certainly recommend SheCodes. After having been interested in programming for a while, I followed a course but I got stuck on JavaScript. I didn't want to give up so I decided to give it one last try. Thanks to SheCodes, I now 'understand' JavaScript: I can see the logic behind it. The explanations are very good and you can practice everything immediately by doing the tests. All in all, I really liked this course.
This workshop really helps me to understand more about coding. From now on I could have easier communication with my peers in development and therefore understand them better. It is really rewarding to create a page from scratch. I am strongly recommended at least the first workshop, very accessible, easy and interactive.
I started to first workshop out of curiosity and I never thought I would find a new path in my life, today I know I have a new skill in something that for sure is the future. I love the practical way of learning and I totally recommend it. I cant wait to start the React workshop.

Starting with only very basic HTML and CSS knowledge, I can't believe how far I've come with SheCodes! Although it was tough at times, I loved every second of the projects and tutorials. I'm very glad I took the entire SheCodes series. I strengthened the skills I already had and I've still learned so much, even though I have taken a few intro coding bootcamps. Honestly, React doesn't seem nearly as intimidating now as before I began the React workshop. In general, there are are quite a few things I'd already run across before while learning JavaScript but I didn't fully grasp them until I took these workshops. Matt walks you through the lessons in a very approachable way and the slack community definitely keeps you from feeling like you are on your own to figure things out. I highly recommend this series to anyone wanting to learn JavaScript and React.
I started this workshop just for curiosity and I can say that I was completely addicted and happy with this work. I recommend everyone to have this experience. I can't wait for the next ones.

I recommend this course to everyone who wants to start coding, no matter in which coding language. Specifically to those who are afraid of coding and think it's too hard to learn! This is certainly a good way to start because making a website (landing page in this case) using HTML, CSS and JS is actually fun and interactive. So you won't be bored and you keep going to achieve the defined small goals during this course. I personally really enjoyed it.

The course is really well structured and easy to follow. The different challenges and the knowledge taught throughout the course is really practical and there is a gradual build-up to the final project. I thought I would be overwhelmed given that I had little to no experience programming but it was very intuitive and easy to follow. The community on slack is really nice and always ready to help. The fact that the lessons are divided into topics helped me a lot to understand the step-by-step process of building a website that can provide important information such as the current weather. Before I started this course, the only coding knowledge I had was from my Myspace days LOL. I love how each lesson is followed by a challenge, which allows us to apply what we learn in the video class.
