SheCodes is an excellent course for both beginners and those trying to refresh their brain. I tried teaching myself back in 2021 and was frustrated because I was using a free site that just made you do all of the reading and wasn't very great at explanations of different concepts. I love how SheCodes is very interactive. The formatting of the video, challenge, and then explaining the solution is very effective. I also love all of the free tools such as the curated CSS gradients, cheatsheets, and all of the CSS generators. They were very helpful and fun to use for my final project so that I could easily and quickly test out what would work best (especially the generators). I would recommend SheCodes to anyone.

SheCodes just changed my life for the better. I am a former secondary teacher who has pivoted into the tech world. However, I knew I desired to further my tech skills and make myself competitive in the technology industry. When I signed up for this course a week ago, I didn't fathom that I would fall in love with coding. I felt like I was playing a fun yet challenging game. I have finally found my passion. It is a really amazing Coding course! During every lesson the information was clearly explained and it was easy to understand everything, although coding was always a frightnening thing for me. I have to say that I really enjoyed this first contact with the programming area. The SheCodes program is super well structured and makes sure that we are not discouraged in the face of difficulties. I would highly recommend SheCodes. Not only is Matt a great teacher, but the fact that money from the workshops goes to fund the SheCodes Foundation to support women around the world is a bonus. Until now I have struggled with coding, it never seemed to 'click' with me. After being laid off from work the week before Christmas I decided to do something to boost my hireability. After completing this workshop I actually feel that I can code. It has been a major confidence boost and I look forward to continuing with more advanced SheCodes workshops.
