I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of this vast field. Despite the fact that I am still in high school, I would love to pursue a career in computer science, and with SheCodes help, this was a terrific beginning.
Wow. React is indeed an amazing tool and I am very glad and thankful that it was included in SheCodes curriculum. Like in all the other workshops, Matt guides you step by step through a well-structured learning path and you keep accumulating super powers ;) If you understand HTML/CSS/JavaScript (e.g., if you have completed the other SheCodes workshops), I truly think that you should check for yourself what you can do with React. Probably it will fit perfectly as the solution for that project you are dreaming about… I can’t recommend SheCodes enough for all who want to learn front-end programming. During the process of this course i went from someone who was completely terrified of React, to someone who feels confident writing React code. Matt's teachings are concise and very beginner friendly. I would 100% recommend to anyone who's learning react for the first time.

I really didn't know anything about what "tech" is and essentially didn't know what coding was until this workshop, and now in just three weeks I feel like I have a solid foundation to base my future knowledge upon. The way Matt breaks down the content really helped my understanding and helped me gain confidence to begin coding and allowed me to realize it is actually fun! I completed the SheCodes React course and although the learning curve is steep, tutorials are clear and foundations from previous courses really show. Now that I've completed it, I feel confident enough to build projects on my own and pick up an extra language or 2. In this day and age a framework is really important, so I cannot recommend the React course enough!

I would definitely recommend this workshop! I didn't realize just how important it was to build websites responsively so that mobile users could easily access your site as well. It's such an important factor to a site and I'm excited to use the knowledge I've gained and build more responsive sites in the future.

Short concise videos, by a benevolent instructor. Recommend if you have time to absorb new material at a fast pace. He allows his students to think for themselves and use the search engine of their choice to become resourceful in finding their answers to their questions. I didn't need to use the Slack chat because everything was well explained underneath the lesson video or in the solutions. Thank you, good luck out there to everyone!
I'll give a five-star for this course even despite some flaws. It's been difficult sometimes, but I did it. I recommend SheCodes.
This course really opened a different new path for me. I would recommend it to anyone who wants advanced JS knowledge, one of the most useful and smart coding languages. Everything was well explained, we were given the required materials and there was constant support on slack channel in case we were stuck.

I loved this course. Well worth it. It took me a little longer to finish since I have a job and other obligations, but it was so worth it. The challenges really drive the knowledge gained during the lessons home and I gained a lot of confidence from completing them. Highly recommend. SheCodes is the first web development course I decided to take because I always wanted to learn how to build my own website. I really loved how the course was structured and how it motivated me to submit a homework every week and how it connected me with so many women, like me, learning how to code. Moreover, I loved Matt's way of explaining the course materials and I appreciated how he took his time to dissect difficult concepts. I truly enjoyed taking this course and I would definitely recommend it to every women wanting to learn more about web development and computer languages in general. We do need more women in STEM and SheCodes is helping us just do that :)
This was a really great workshop that ended with a very applicable and useful final project- a personal website to display our work/projects. I really enjoyed the pace of the course and liked how the last week was broken down - one video/lesson per piece of the project. It made a large project feel manageable :) And by the last video/assignment, the project was basically done! Would recommend this course to anyone looking to sharpen their skills at making responsive websites.
