I really, really enjoyed this workshop. I had started coding at University, where I had various courses on HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I found the material complicated in how it was taught and often struggled to keep up. Being apart of SheCodes has really boosted my confidence with coding, and made me realise I can do it, just with the right teacher! Matt's lessons have been enjoyable and made coding fun to learn. I definitely would recommend this course to anyone with a keen interest in coding.
This was a great course! The website is very organized and easy to follow. I was able to finish all 3-weeks of material in just one week! I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn coding or enhance their skills.
SheCodes Basic - Highly recommend for everyone that wants to see if they would like coding. Lessons are well explained and from time to time you will get a challenge to find something out by yourself which is a great way to learn.
I really enjoyed getting into the logic of Coding! It was like learning a new language! I really recommend this to estimulate your creativity and logic thinking! And for everyone that works in digital marketing this helps a lot to better understand the digital language!

Amazing hands-on training. Because they teach you how to test and visualize your code it is fun to play around while learning. Would not recommend just this workshop but the whole package > Shecodes PLUS.
As a beginner the SheCodes workshop was an amazing way to get started in coding. I knew nothing about coding before I started and I'm surprised at how much I was able to learn in such a short time, thanks to Matt and the rest of the team! Step by step I was working towards my final project, which is already an impressive progress, considering that I started from scratch 11 weeks ago. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to dive deeper into advanced JavaScript, HTML and CSS!

SheCodes helped me a lot to brush up my deteriorating HTML, CSS and JSS skills. I really liked that the videos are short but include a challenge which is really good to get your hands-on. Especially for me because I'm quite impatient, don't learn well from videos and want to get started right away, the course structure was very helpful for me. It was a great experience and a good balance between flexibility and sticking to the schedule. I'll do all workshops at SheCodes because I want to become better in Front-End Development and I would recommend the Basics workshop for everyone, no matter if you already know some basics or just want to figure out whether it's something for you or not. A really challenging but fun and rewarding course. I learnt and achieved more than I ever felt possible and am really proud of what I produced! I loved being able to do the course in my own time and being able to take breaks when I needed a week off. The course was difficult, but it allowed for a lot of growth. I really enjoyed the project. I recommend that you keep your pace or you might forget how to do things like I did.

To all those new Moms out there that think a new skills is impossible to make at the same time, with SheCodes workshop I'm saying it as a new Mom, It is Possible! Highly recommended to all women with limited time and willing to learn new skills.
SheCodes changed my life showing easily my capabilities. At the end of each course you'll say "What??? Did I really do that??". And it's a good and incredible feeling. I heard so much appraisal of SheCodes before, but I never realized how amazing this workshop would be until I participated myself. so I highly recommend SheCodes specially to those women who tend to learn coding without attending in computer school or any related major in university. why? because Matt Delac is the best programming teacher I've ever had. He tries to make it as simple as possible and the learning flow is so smooth that you completely enjoy coding!

This is a fantastic course! The content is laid out really well and I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges at the end of the lessons. Matt is very easy to understand and is very succinct yet thorough in his teachings. I was never interested in coding because I thought it was really boring and difficult to understand but becuase of Matt's course, I REALLY enjoyed it and actually had to set reminders to work on my other work projects as I found myself really engrossed in the creation process. In just 10 days I went from knowing nothing about coding to creating a landing page! I look forward to the next course, SheCodes Plus and building off what I know now to make my work even better! I highly, highly recommend!

In these modern days it is hard to get in touch with something that has nothing to do with digitization, so the ability to have at least a small overview about the functionality of digital tools, programs or anything like that is highly recommended. The initial impulse to put wood behind the arrow and to get my journey with SheCodes started, was when I changed my job in October 2021 and became a PMO in a small company building software for global telecommunication enterprises... I wanted to support myself getting to know and understanding this completely new, very complex working area and simultaneously broaden my mind. And you know what? It was definitely worth it! Yes, it is challenging, but Matt has a very cool way to explain and show things, which makes it easy to follow him and to get the challenges done. The most fun thing of course is to build your own project where you can live out your creativitiy and see if you really understood what Matt taught you.
I came across this course with very little knowledge of the subject and now after 3 weeks I can build a web. I totally recommend this for every woman who wants to start coding.

I would recommend SheCodes to anyone! SheCodes Basics was my first taste of coding, and I believe I've learned the most from this course. One of my biggest fears with SheCodes was the self learning format! However, I did take a 12 week live course, and believe that SheCodes and the information learned within my 3 week SheCodes class was more valuable than the other program! From the content, to the help...SheCodes is the way to go for anyone entering tech. Don't let self-paced scare you! Try it!

I put off learning how to code because for the longest time, I didn't know where to start! The format of SheCodes teaching is by far the best I've experienced. The learn at your own pace and in bite-sized chunks makes it easier to learn and somewhat addictive at the same time - you actually want to go to the next workshop to build on your knowledge. The fact that there is no fixed time for the classes and you can fit into your schedule is also great! I am shocked at what I have been able to create in just three weeks! Matt is a BRILLIANT teacher! I can't thank the SheCodes team enough for such an amazing programme (and I got it at a bargain - thanks Black Friday!) I really would recommend this course to anyone who has considered coding, but may not know where to start. You really won't regret it!
I am so glad that I took the SheCodes Basics class. I have learned so much about frontend programming. The curriculum was well thought out and went at the perfect pace for beginners. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking to get into programming.
For anyone looking to obtain a solid foundation in the basics of coding, I would definitely recommend this course! The lessons are broken down into manageable pieces which makes it seem much less overwhelming and the help available in the Slack channels and general SheCodes community was very valuable to have.

I would highly recommend doing the basic workshop. I found it really enjoyable, educational and the videos were incredibly easy to follow. Matt did a great job of teaching in a very clear and effective way. I couldn't believe how fast I managed to learn to do so much. There is a great sense of community and always someone to help when you get stuck.
I like how short the lessons are. I have problems with focusing when watching long videos. Your short lessons along with challenges make me curious and excited to keep going. The course would be even better if I receive in-depth feedback on my weekly homework. Overall, I'm happy with the SheCodes Basics workshop and would definitely recommend anyone who is interested in coding.

This was the third workshop that I participated in, and I really enjoyed this one too. Like the previous workshops (Basics and Plus), Matt explains everything step by step and perfectly clear. This workshop was especially important to me, because I've been struggling on grasping responsive knowledge but now its very understandable to me. Definitely recommending this workshop!
