This course was above and beyond what I expected! From knowing nothing, I was able to build my own website using HTML, CSS, and Javascript which sounds unbelievable but I MADE IT! I've been an English teacher for the past years, but I see potential in coding. Who knows, maybe thanks to these new skills I will be able to combine my background and create something brand new? It was a good learning curve. I am glad i can have a look at the classes again as after the course you have lifetime access. Which i am sure there is more i can learn from them video which i didn't pick up straight away. I would recommend this course. Matt goes over things step by step. As a UI UX designer it was great to learn the coding basics to understand how my designs could come to life. It also gives me the knowledge to create better development handover files when I work alongside developers. I didn't have any coding knowledge prior to this course. Responsive was a very good workshop where I learned excellent responsive tools. I think that workshop is necessary for who wants to became a front end developer. This workshop is great! Easy to follow with step by step instructions, making learning fun and challenging in a good way. This workshop is amazing! Coding looked so complicated and felt so overwhelming when I tried to figure it out myself. This whole experience and teaching made me understand coding on a base level I never would have on my own, this experience gave me the opportunity to learn, experience and do it myself essentially with help. I love the hands on approach and that it doesn't feel like spoon feeding, yet it is laid out so clearly that you completely understand what is going on. This journey was difficult to follow for me because javascript code became so complicated sometimes, but the instruction was really clear in every video., so thank you so much, Matt! He is a great teacher and he teaches us as simple as possible, so even though I confused, I watched the video again and again and found some mistakes that I made or understand the meaning of the code. I would really recommend this to other people who haven't experience this wonderful course.

It was very fun to complete all the challenges. Specially the final project. Also, sometimes it was a little frustrating but it was totally worth it once it was all fixed. I really loved the workshop and I will definitely recommend others to give it a try!
It has been a fun experience built in a didactive way. I would recommend it to others, especially due to the self-paced aspect. In this way, you can watch multiple videos a day or not watch videos on certain days when you don't have time. Since the videos are short and rarely over 10 minutes long, it is easy to keep the concentration.
I discovered SheCodes through a family member who had done the Basics course and recommended it. It's been great to revisit some basic coding languages and learn some new skills!
It's not often that an online course happily surprises me as I'm a learning professional... SheCodes however, has exceeded my expectations with each week. I was skeptical with how quickly or proficiently I could learn HTML, CSS, and JS in just 3 short weeks....I am pleasantly happy to share that it is possible! I take each lesson day by day and personally decide where I need to spend more time learning. I love this flexibility. If you need more time, they are accommodating but still have high expectations for completion. The final project was so much fun and I enjoyed my time creating my own site about cavapoos! I highly recommend. I will be moving on to the next part of the course and I am excited to continue this journey.
