It was really helpful to take this course after completing the other three SheCodes workshops! This course really helped pull all the information together and made me feel a lot more confident in formatting my projects and keeping them responsive to a variety of devices. There are some really helpful tips in this course and creating the portfolio was essential for me and it helped to have all of my previous SheCodes projects to display! Now I've officially completed all 4 workshops and and I easily say, it was a lot of hard work, but was definitely worth it! It was a great experience building a responsive website and also a great opportunity to build a portfolio website which I can always update with my newest projects.
Last year I joined SheCodes for the very first time and did the first two workshops coding related that I've ever done. More recently I needed to refresh my skill set and update it in order to embrace a more complex challenge, that's why I enrolled in the "Online Responsive Development Workshop". I learnt a lot of new technologies and now I feel capable to build a unique online portfolio on my own. Even though my design competences are not the best, now I feel comfortable with the creation of a website and everything related to its structure. Once again, I have to thank to Matt Delact and SheCodes for giving us this opportunity to learn that much. With your powerfull lessons, the organized and detailed program, the homeworks and constantly support, I think it is not possible to dislike it. I do recommend it to everyone!

This course was definitely challenging but I have learned so much in the past 8 weeks. It was explained step by step so that you can understand the code your writing. It is quite exciting to see the app you designed in week 1 to finally work. I can't wait to learn more in SheCodes Responsive & SheCodes React.

When I finished my React workshop and worked on other coding projects I really felt like my responsive design needed some work, so I was thrilled when this workshop got introduced. Continuing my coding journey with the SheCodes Responsive workshop as soon as it was available was a no-brainer for me π. I enjoyed every workshop on this platform and would recommend it to anyone who is curious about coding or wants to increase their career opportunities. I started from scratch, with zero coding knowledge and although there are some tricky parts (hello JavaScript! π) I feel like I've learned so so much during the last weeks (or rather months π). It was a great experience working through all of the SheCodes Workshop. The newest Responsive workshop was very interesting and taught me many new skills that have been vital to my development as a Front-End Engineer. Responsive Design has been a fantastic follow-on from SheCodes Plus. Utilising live server and Figma during the process of design were excellent additions to my toolkit I was not expecting. Seeing how flexbox, media queries, and Bootstrap can all work together to create beautiful, functional websites has inspired me to look more into UX and UI design in addition to the core coding skills I am building.

The course is quite interesting and it gets more and more challenging. We're taught really interesting stuff and you can see results pretty quickly :) In my opinion, however, more practice is needed to digest and settle all the new information. When I was informed there would be a new SheCodes Responsive class, I remember I was already ready to take 5 week-long-course. While adjusting the curriculum with my own pace of learning, I challenged myself to finish the weekly homework earlier than the deadline. It was not easy to secure my spare time. after my full time work. By fully utilizing my early morning time before my work and minimizing my social and fun activities for my future, I was able to create the project about Climate Change successfully. Like other courses that I took, the learning journey with Matt, Joao, and other support staffs was not always smooth to carry on but definitely worthy to try again and again (but never give up). Like a quote "Your strength is your own knowledge." I would love to show my greatest appreciation to SheCodes as I believe I became intellectually stronger than before. Responsive course has taught me that we would need to consider the end users when developing any products. Nowadays, people would. check the information via mobile web and it is crucial for developers to make sure that the. webpages would be responsive and SEO friendly. When I completed SheCodes' other offerings, I promised I'd be first in line to sign up if a new course was ever launched. So, of course I jumped at the chance to be an early participant in the new Responsive Design program! Not only did Matt's instructions help me reinforce my previous knowledge of HTML and CSS, but with Matt and JoΓ£o's guidance I learned out to built an attractive multipage website that is optimized for multiple devices and screen sizes. I learned so much practical knowledge, and the final project was a blast! I can't wait to continue my responsive design practice and promising now yet again that if another SheCodes class becomes available, I will be first to sign up!
The Plus workshop was extremely challenging, but I'm proud of myself for not giving up and finishing it. We learn from trial and error, and from experience. I'm definitely looking forward to building on what I learned in the Responsive & React workshops! β¨
After 11 years of gap, I started updating my knowledge about computers by doing some free courses, I was frustrated as there is no particular way. This is an extremely important workshop to understand CSS positioning and to build great responsive websites. I have had as much fun as in the previous workshops. For a total beginner, this was a challenging but excellent introduction to the practical applications of html/css/javascript and professional workflows. Having access to the Slack channel was a great advantage as I could get help when I got stuck and never felt like I couldn't get past the bugs I encountered in my own code. I've finished my final project feeling inspired and ready to dive into the React and Responsive workshops and keep building my new knowledge and skills.
The Plus course made me understand coding better and even though it wasn't easy, there were a lot of Aha moments and I feel more educated about coding. I can't wait to start the react one and then the responsive workshop.

I have always been interested in coding but found it hard to teach myself. The SheCodes lessons were easy to understand but still challenging. I found the SheCodes team very responsive and helpful on Slack. I would definitely recommend!
SheCodes is very informative and through this we assess ouself with each chapter where we stand by solving the given challenges. The material given is very easy to understand, and if stucked in between, the Slack channel is always there to help.SheCodes Team is also responsive, whenever you need them you just drop mail and they will revert you within few hours. I think SheCodes is a great platform for females. I am very happy with SheCodes and I would like to suggest that SheCodes should include more coding workshops for languages like JAVA, PYTHON, etc.
