I thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes Plus as it really challenged me and pushed my coding knowledge further. Learning about API's and how to host a website was one of my highlights during the course as it gave me an insight to how weather apps can forecast the weather for the week and finding the temperature of different cities. Would recommend this course to anyone who would like to learn more about coding.

After doing the SheCodes basic workshop I was excited to continue to learn more. Thinking of building an app can be overwhelming, however, SheCodes Plus breaks that process into several steps which makes it so easy and fun. Everything is extremely well explained in the videos, and the challenges not only allow you to practice coding, but they help you understand the content better. Further, if you get stuck on something, the SheCodes team will help you. Additionally, there is also an AI coding assistant available, which can answer your doubts, explain code, fix your code and so much more. I have tried it, and it was easy and useful to use. I highly recommend this workshop and I cannot wait for more!!

The SheCodes Plus workshop has definitely been more challenging than the Basics one but is sure more rewarding. You get to learn powerful and extremely useful technologies such as the API: how to communicate with other applications, how to fetch data through the server and manipulate them according to your needs. SheCodes Plus unfold, in this way, the "mysteries" of these technologies, keeping its formula and method simple, clear and within everyone's reach. Also, another feature has been introduced to the SheCodes family which will make you love learning to code even more: Athena. I would recommend SheCodes Plus to anyone who want to deepen her coding knowledge and skills.
I absolutely loved that I could experience a whole development process with each lesson leading up to the final project. I admit there was a moment or two of despair, but you get there eventually 😁 Javascript is definitely challenging and I'm just starting to grasp it. SheCodes Plus has definitely shown me what I‘m already capable of!
SheCodes Plus sure felt more challenging than the previous courses I took with SheCodes, but it was still fun and engaging. I recently completed the SheCodes Plus workshop and I'm thrilled with the experience. The lessons were extremely well-structured, with challenging but rewarding exercises that helped me build a solid foundation in coding week by week. I was especially impressed by the way Matt, our instructor, was able to motivate and support us when we felt stuck. By the end of the workshop, it was clear how all the lessons were connected, and the big picture became clear. SheCodes Plus was much different than the the basic class. In the basic class I truly felt like I was made for this coding life. But then came the Plus sessions and I really struggled through it. I had to request extensions several times. I finished it in the end, but it was a major challenge. Hoping the next part gives me back my mojo.

Very VERY fun. Now that I was more comfortable with the material from SheCodes Plus, I was able to have lots and lots of fun with complex features and really try to unleash my creativity on this one. The JS has now become a real logical challenge, it's incredibly fun (I studied Physics so I really like solving problems that are logical and/or mathematical). I cannot wait to go on to the next workshop and find out how React works. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I just finished the SheCodes Plus weather app project and couldn't be happier with the results. I was hesitant to take on a project like this because I needed to gain more expertise in coding. But because of SheCodes Plus's crystal-clear and simple-to-follow lessons, I was able to finish the course with a working weather app in hand. The SheCodes Plus curriculum was an excellent method to learn how to code overall. The weather app project was a great way to get started with coding. I wholeheartedly endorse SheCodes Plus to anyone interested in coding 💘!

The course was to a certain extent useful and I learned something new. A lot of technologies were covered, videos were short but informative that allowed me not to lose concentration. Also I liked the idea with the cheat sheets available on the web site. At the same time, I’d like to mention the following drawbacks: - there is a gap between the course program and the course content itself, which led me to hope for more than was actually given. For instance, ‘SheCodes Plus’ program mentions ‘Advanced Javascript’, while in practice we only scratched the surface. - I had a feeling that some information was repeated again and again instead of new topics being covered. - homework feedback provided was hardly useful: “Your solution is valid! Good job” is not an informative one. I would rather want to hear more on practices I used and my code style. - given all of the above, I believe the course is a bit overpriced

SheCodes plus is just too expensive it does not worth the money. It was a lot of repetition i regretted taking this course.
Having completed the SheCodes basics, I am totally impressed by how improved, easy to follow and well-managed SheCodes Plus is. It was an enjoyable experience and I learned a lot through the lessons and also the Slack channel. The team is a huge help to you and you have unlimited access to them. In short, you have access to everything you need for learning with this package.
This SheCodes Plus Add-on course was so fantastic. It taught me to build a World Clock project in just 2 weeks! Of course challenging but very very enjoyable. Bring on the next course!!

I just finished the SheCodes Plus workshop and it was such a great experience. I learned so much from this course and I really love the way the lessons are laid out. They are clear and easy to follow and there is always support when you need it. I also love that there are weekly homework deadlines to try and meet, in order to help keep you accountable, but there is also a lot of flexibility if you need it (which, as a mom of a toddler, is essential!). The flexibility to be able to ask for extensions when you need them, to me, shows that SheCodes really takes into consideration the different lifestyles/schedules that each individual has. Before SheCodes, I had absolutely no knowledge of coding, but as soon I joined I felt very welcomed and instantly became a part of this community of amazing women around the world with shared dreams and ambitions of learning to code. Being a part of this supportive community, especially for a complete beginner like me, has given me a lot of confidence and inspiration to continue my coding journey.

I am so excited to finish my SheCodes Plus certification. By far my favorite project to add to my portfolio! JavaScript was more fun and complex than I originally thought going in to this course. I learned that my passion for coding is expanding; I continually think of improving my code throughout the day and understand that I can solve most of my problems if I take a moment to refresh my thoughts. Falling into the routine of coding everyday motivates me to continue to grow my skills and knowledge. That being said on to the next project!
I would highly recommend SheCodes to anybody who would like to learn how to code, especially if you don't have any previous experience(s) with coding! I studied something completely different in Uni, but wanted to be able to transfer the passion that I have for creativity in my free time (in the future) into my 9-5 as well. I also wanted something that would continue to challenge my brain on a daily basis. After some internet searches I came across SheCodes and decided to take the free intro-to-coding class from Matt. I was hesitant at first since I had no prior experience to coding, but as soon as Matt said that you don't need prior experience and that anyone can learn how to code, I decided that it was worth giving it a try. It did not disappoint! I'm so happy that I followed the Basics course; I learned so much in 3 weeks and Matt's explanation videos were pretty easy to follow and also very helpful. At times it can get a bit frustrating when there are mistakes in your code that you're struggling to find and correct, but fear not! By retracing your steps or asking for help on Slack you will eventually figure it out and it will all be worth it! I'm exited to continue learning and can't wait to sign up for SheCodes Plus. 10/10

Coming to the end of Shecodes Plus and building a weather app for my final project wasn't easy but it was definitely worth it. Shecodes has been phenomenal in the style of teaching and the wealth of resources made available to support women learn how to code. I never could have learnt coding if it wasn't for Shecodes. So I would recommend it over and over again to any woman out there who has access to a laptop and who would like to learn how to code.
The SheCodes plus workshop has been a lovely learning experience! Challenging at times, but always fun. I've really enjoyed working on my project which definitely is more comprehensive compared to the Introductory Workshop project. I saw coding as something completely out of my scope- coming from a background of dropping out of uni to now successfully starting my journey to becoming a tech professional. As a SheCodes Plus graduate, I was thrilled to continue my coding journey with SheCodes Responsive. The course provided me with the advanced knowledge I needed to make my code responsive and fit for any device. The two-week full-time or five-week part-time structure was flexible enough to accommodate my schedule, and the curriculum was well-structured and easy to follow.
Ladies and non-binary folks, if you're looking to get your feet wet in the world of coding, SheCodes is where it's at! I recently completed their Basics course, and had such a great time that I decided to level up and try out their SheCodes Plus program. Let me tell you, some of those later sections were a real brain-bender, but the experience was totally worth it. If you're a newbie to coding, I'd definitely recommend practicing your JavaScript skills and dabbling with APIs a bit before diving in. But with a little bit of elbow grease and a lot of patience, you'll be coding up a storm in no time. A huge shoutout to Matt and the whole SheCodes team for putting together such a fantastic program - you guys rock!
I really enjoyed being able to create a functional weather application with SheCodes Plus! There were a lot of points where I felt we only hit surface level, especially with JavaScript. I found myself having to research a lot of concepts on my own. I feel like my understanding of functions, parameters, objects, and arrays are still elementary, but perhaps this is all part of the learning process. Start with small bites and dig deeper as we go and learning to help yourself. I played around with using the old API and the new one provided by SheCodes and feel like I have a good grasp on API integrations though. All in all this was a good beginner course and maybe I just need to review the course again.
I enjoyed so much this workshop from day one. Matt's lessons are so well explained, that every challenge was so entertaining to make and woke up my curiosity to learn. This first journey has been fun and I feel excited to continue with SheCodes Plus. I highly recommend it!
sheCodes plus opened me up to advanced aspect of HTML, CSS and JS, with an introduction to Git, GitHub and Netlify, this help to bring life to the application been built, and it was fun doing this. The lesson were easy to understand and the pace was perfect.
