SheCodes is by far one the the best decisions I have made during my career change. It is certainly challenging but the skills and amount of progress I have made over just a few weeks is incredible. SheCodes Plus gives you a good grasp on the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS and I am excited to continue the SheCodes workshops.

I am very surprised at how much I learned during this workshop. Many of the topics in SheCodes Plus were completely new to me and while I may not be 100% comfortable with them, I am not completely lost either. I have loved getting to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript more in depth during the SheCodes Plus course. While this course was more challenging, I never felt too overwhelmed and always got quick responses on Slack when I was stuck. I look forward to moving on to the SheCodes React course next!
This is my second coding course, but I can tell you that this has been the easiest way I've learned coding in a short period of time, and managed to surprise myself by completing the workshop sooner than expected. I retired last year from Bank of America and was looking for something to keep my mind active. What I found in this workshop is a possible path to a new career. After 2 weeks I feel I have a good foundation to build on and am looking forward to SheCodes Plus and beyond.

It's been great learning how to code from Matt. I feel like I've learned more from Matt than from some of the coding courses that I had to take for university. The weather app has been really fun to learn (frustrating at times) but I look forward to going back to learn it again from Matt and personalizing my weather app better for my portfolio. This has been equal parts one of the most challenging and rewarding courses I have taken but the structure of the course held me accountable! I began with SheCodes Basics then SheCodes Plus and I now have the ability to communicate with others about code. I have the foundations needed to continue my career in Tech. SheCodes is highly recommended!
Wow! That was so much fun and intense. I took the basic last year worrying that I would forget what I have learned but nope, it all came back, it also helped that there was a brief review at the beginning. SheCodes plus was a bit challenging but I understood now some terms used in coding and how to incorporate them together. So excited to learn more in the next workshop!
After completing SheCodes Basic I immediately sign up for SheCodes Plus. Compare to Basic Workshop it was challenging at times, but very interesting and fun. I'm proud of progress I've made so far and of my Weather App project. I can't wait to sign up for the next workshop.
SheCodes Plus was a true exercise to the brain 🤯. It was both fun and challenging. I had plenty of times where I just had to take a break and come back to it. 👩💻 The lessons are very well built but if you get stuck Matt and his team are always there to help. I definitely enjoyed the course! It was so easy to follow and understand the content. I could set up my own schedule, which was very important to me, since I work a lot. But there were some days when I literally would sit entire afternoon and go lesson after lesson - and not because I'm a procrastination queen. It was such interesting and pleasant experience that I couldn't stop coding 😅 Can't wait for SheCodes Plus! I'm totally in!

I'm really glad I continued with SheCodes Plus after completing the SheCodes Basics Workshop! It was amazing that I got to see code from scratch turn into a functioning application. The videos are very clear and I appreciate the self pace that allows me to practice my front end development skills while juggling work.

I had procrastinate, about taking another coding coarse, because of past experience. Glad I finally went for it! I have learned so much in just a few weeks. The coarse workshop was well paced and made understandable to someone learning HTML and CSS for the first time; which I was happily surprised. I have taken coding courses years ago, and I did not enjoy it. Now, I'm looking forward to learning more code with the next workshop SheCodes Plus!
When I started with SheCodes basics, I just enrolled myself to see if I can do it, I did not know that I would come so far with coding that I would enrol myself in SheCodes Plus and build an app on my own. I feel so happy that I was able to do something that I had never thought I will be able to do. Thanks to Matt for being such a good teacher and making it easy to understand. SheCodes Plus was such a great experience. Matt would say "Okay, this will be fun!" right before he did something very complicated and he was right! He brought us through step-by-step and made every concept very clear. If there was something I didn't understand, I could always go back and watch the video again or reference the Slack channel. I can't wait to continue to the next workshop. Everyone should do this.

SheCodes Plus course has given me a much better understanding of the coding world. It was fun and challenging to create the weather app, but I feel like I leaned so much. I definitely still have a crush on coding, and my crush is only getting bigger with time 👰🏻💕💻 If you are stuck the lovely team are very fast at assisting you on Slack and very thorough at explaining any trouble or question you might have. Deciding to do another SheCodes workshop was a no brainer. After having completed SheCodes Plus I created my own website but then fell off the coding wagon. He takes a bit of a bird's eye approach to explain the basics and gives you plenty of space to figure things out, learn, and experiment with your code. I definitely had fun while learning. I've been looking at many options for learning coding but could never decide where or how to start. I began self learning through books but always felt so stuck and confused and began to give up. I really wanted to work on a career change though, and I soon came across SheCodes. I have learned so much more in just 3 weeks than I could through self learning. Not only was it so easy to follow and learn, I was able to complete everything on top of a full time exhausting job and continue to have free time in my personal life. I am excited to progress onto SheCodes Plus and potentially more in the future.

Very easy to understand and follow along! I have a limited background in programming but with Matt's help, was able to learn the basics of web design. He's a great instructor and besides his videos, he also offers resources for you to use on your own projects. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants to get started in web design but has no idea where to start. All the students have access to a Slack as well where we can ask questions and receive help from the SheCodes staff or even each other. Learning something new doesn't feel so intimidating knowing that other students might be running into the same problems as you are. I just finished SheCodes Basics and can't wait to get started on SheCodes Plus!

Even though I learnt HTML and CSS basics during my studies about 10 years ago it was really good to start with SheCodes Basics! I learnt a lot and had fun! Yes, that's me with the grey hair. Not quite the oldest to enrol in SheCodes but getting close! I recommend this course to women of any age. Already I have more confidence in a web project I'm developing for a client. I've now enrolled in SheCodes Plus, because much to my surprise, I've enjoyed coding (as Matt promised!).
