I’ve learned so much! SheCodes Plus was quite challenging, but definitely rewarding when you look at your first weather app,wow 🤩

SheCodes plus was eye-opening fun but also challenging! I have learned a lot from more advanced Javascript to new learnings such as IU development, Bootstrap, open-source codes on GitHub, development workflows, and API integrations. All came to use in the final weather application project, in which I am very proud to say that I built my own. Highly recommend SheCodes Plus if you want to learn advanced technologies and build your own projects!

When I started this course, I had never coded before! I now feel super confident with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and have completed a project that I'm really proud of. Matt is an excellent teacher! He breaks each new piece of information down into bitesize lessons that make coding fun and easy to understand. He also demonstrates what not to do and common mistakes that are easy to make, which — as an absolute beginner — I have found really helpful. I aim to continue on my coding journey with SheCodes Plus.

I fell in love with coding after completing the Basics course, so moving on to SheCodes Plus was really a no-brainer! Although the course itself if much more challenging, Matt's lessons are so clear and helpful. I've absolutely loved learning more advanced techniques, and starting to work towards my professional career by learning how to host my code to the public. Seeing everything you have learned come together in the final project is really exciting and I can't wait to keep learning!

SheCodes Plus has been an amazing experience! I have thought for YEARS that it is time to get more tech-savvy, but it has always seemed like an impossible mission as I don't really have any pre-existing skills. That was until I stumbled across SheCodes. I was nervous before I started my basic course, but it went so much better than I could have predicted! I really recommend taking SheCodes Responsive if you have just finished SheCodes Plus. SheCodes Responsive provides all the tools and skills to make your projects mobile friendly. Since we are now developing in a mobile-first landscape it is important the projects you build is functional on mobile devices - that is exactly what this workshop teaches.

I learned a lot from SheCodes plus. I used to be scared of javascript but now I have gained some confidence and admiration of the language through this workshop. Every lesson gets more and more difficult and each time I think, I wouldn't be able to grasp the concept but as soon as I start coding is when everything starts to come together. all thanks to Matt for sharing his talent and time to make the videos and explaining thoroughly through each lesson. & last but not the least, the availability of the slack community. Working for TikTok before and now, Asurion, sparked my interest in all things tech-related but mostly coding. The thing is, I didn't know where to start so I spent weeks and weeks looking for the perfect online coding class. Yes, there's a lot of free courses out there, but I know myself. Without proper structure and motivation, I'd simply fail. I was so glad then when I saw an ad for SheCodes on Instagram. I looked it up, went through each workshop's details to see which one fits me the most, read the testimonials, even checked out some of the alumni's LinkedIn profiles to make sure the reviews were legit. And it was. I just finished SheCodes Basics and couldn't be happier and more proud of myself. Matt is an amazing instructor--he's clear and explains things really well. As someone with minimal coding background, I was able to grasp everything Matt talked about easily. I also love that the lessons are structured and that each lesson is followed by challenges where I get to practice what I just learned. Basic course gave me a better notion of coding, but SheCodes Plus is a huge step forward, it was truly challenging for me but always enjoyed it because Matt's explanations are really clear,concise and illustrative, also it's very useful that the recordings are accesible anytime. I got more used to Slack, I realized other students shared similar doubts which sheCodes Support team helped solving.

I took SheCodes Plus immediately after the Basic course. And it was a smooth next-level. Again, Matt has been a great guide through the labyrinth of code and its creation logic. All his tips and guidelines prove to be 100% correct - it pays off to be patient, test own code constantly and stop for a while if you hit the wall. Seeing the final app, maybe not the most beautiful by design, but fully functional makes me proud. I did program it myself and I want more!! :)

I enjoyed the step-by-step process of building my own fully functional weather application, leaning how to use APIs and designing it the way I liked. I have learned so much being a part of SheCodes. After completing SheCodes Basics, I went on to sign up for SheCodes Plus, and I plan to finish Responsive and React! I am constantly amazed at how much I have learned and how I have grown. I started out with no coding knowledge or experience and can now read, write, and understand code. Matt is such a great teacher! I absolutely love how he breaks down each new concept and how each lesson builds on the other.

I really enjoyed learning more advanced JavaScript through SheCodes Plus! The format of the course, which consists of digestible videos, short challenges to test your understanding, and a final project that lets you put into practice everything you learned is very effective. I joined SheCodes Plus out of curiosity. However, I ended up absolutely loving to code, this was highly unexpected! It gets me up in the morning! The programme and teaching method are very well structured, in a way that keeps us engaged... so that may have helped 😜

The lessons are very well structured and easy to follow. The support is great, and no question goes unanswered. I cannot recommend the workshop enough!

Before I signed up for an introduction to coding course, I've joined the free class and seeing Matt coding made me want to explore this completely new world to me more. I would highly recommend this course to everyone who would like to try something new, fun, interesting and is looking for a new path in their career. The explanations are very clear (but it's not enriching like attending a live workshop). Customer support is slow at answering emails when you're not a potential client (they're very fast at that) but had already bought the products months before. I also didn't feel like leaving a public review with my name and face on it just to access SheCodes Plus after completing SheCodes Basic, but apparently if I don't complete this review the site will keep asking me for money when I try to enroll to SheCodes Plus (?) even though I have already paid the SheCodes Pro package. I asked customer service if I could skip this passage. No answer.

SheCodes Plus provides hands-in approach to learning how to code. It is well-explained and sometimes demanding. What I really like about SheCodes is flexibility and possibility to get help if we stuck with our coding.

What a ride! I have to admit that the JS-part of SheCodes Plus was very tricky and I needed to rewatch Matt's instructions over and over again. Also having access to the source code helped as a last resort sometimes (damn you, missing semicolons and curly brackets!). But ultimately I overcame those difficulties and now I am super happy (and super proud) to have my own personal weather application! I really enjoyed coding alongside Matt again and can't wait to continue with SheCodes Responsive. Thanks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Responsive was my third workshop with SheCodes and was a perfect follow-up to SheCodes Plus. The final project was a lot of fun to work on and will be very useful in the future. Now onto the React workshop!

After completing the SheCodes Basics course I was so excited to start learning front end development. SheCodes Plus was so informative and I learned a lot. After stumbling across this coding workshop by accident, I've fallen in love with Coding. I'm currently studying Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, however, this workshop was so fun that I will be transferring to Web Development completely. I highly recommend these classes. SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging than Basic. I learned a lot and I am proud of what I have created! I am not a designer by any means but happy I was able to code a functional app. There is a lot more that goes into creating even the most basic elements than I thought. I have lots to learn.

An amazing introduction into the world of coding. Lessons are set out in an extremely user friendly 3 part format - 'Learn' A video tutorial explaining how something works. 'Challenge' An opportunity to demonstrate what you have just learnt. 'Solution' Explanation of how to solve the challenge. The video tutorials are informative and perfectly timed to ensure that they aren't overwhelming for newbies. Just enough information is provided to allow students to have a clear set up whilst also providing a little extra challenge here and there. Completing the final project has left me really excited and ready to take on the 'SheCodes Plus' workshop next! Huge thank you to Matt and the SheCodes teams! :)

I have had so much fun for the past 3 weeks with SheCodes Basics! I can't believe how much I have learned in just 3 weeks. I have been working as an IT Service Desk Analyst for 10 years and I was desperately looking for something better. I have been working closely with our development team for the past 2 years. At first, I was so intimidated sitting in their meetings because I didn't understand a thing and I thought you had to be some kind of genius to do that kind of work. Then slowly I began to understand what they were talking about and became familiar with some of the lingo. I started wondering if I could do it too. I tried two other learning programs online and became frustrated and felt defeated. Then I saw an advertisement on a YouTube video for SheCodes and decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did! After watching the free introductory class I knew this was it for me and it would change my life. I signed up for all of the workshops and I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus! The short video lessons are the perfect way for me to learn and I love the challenges, homework, and deadlines! I need structure to keep me on track. Having this skill under my belt just opened up a new world of possibilities for me, and I'm excited to explore!

I greatly enjoyed the SheCodes Plus Workshop - definitely learned a whole lot of useful stuff! Now, on to the next one! 🤗

SheCodes Plus was definitely a massive step up from basic but i really enjoyed being challenged and having the satisfaction of a certain piece of code work or actually finding a bug in my code by myself. Although there is still some things that I know I wont be able to do without looking back at my previous work atleast I understand the logic( I hope).

SheCodes is very easy to use and everyone is very helpful. I learned a lot fairly quickly and found it easy to navigate once I got the hang of it. Highly recommend the basics course if you are looking to learn something new on your free time.You can work on your own pace which is great. I will most likely sign up for SheCodes Plus in the near future.

SheCodes Plus was a great continuation to SheCodes Basic! I would recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about continuing their SheCodes coding journey. It's crazy cool to think that we were equipped with the tools to create our own weather app, something that you can use everyday! Even though at times it was challenging, it has been very rewarding and I can't wait to continue. Thanks SheCodes! :)

This SheCodes Plus was actually not easy as SheCodes basics. I had to repeat the videos so many times until I understood what I did not understand. But I found that the more complicated coding problems were more interesting when you solved them!

The SheCodes Basics Workshop taught me so much in a short amount of time 😊 Matt makes everything easy to learn and the format and rhythm is adapted to all kinds of lifestyles. Of course, when you're working full time, it's a bit challenging but it is definitely possible! 💪 Now I know that I actually love coding and that I want to challenge myself as much as possible. I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus! 👩‍💻🔥

SheCodes Plus has been very challenging yet rewarding. I like the approach of this course that allows you to experiment and chip away at the final project bit by bit. Communication is superb and helpful whenever you get stuck. It's also inspiring to see all the other women who are so talented and creative with their projects! Major kuddos.
