I absolutely love SheCodes! I was teaching myself to code for about 4 months before deciding to enroll in the workshops. Matt was able to fill a lot of gaps and clarify a lot of things about HTML and CSS that I didn't quite understand. I look forward to diving into the SheCodes Plus workshop and learning more about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and tackling Bootstrap, Git, and APIs.

I really enjoyed this 3 week course - I had a basic understanding of HTML and CSS before I started, but now I think I am ready to take on the SheCodes Plus course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in coding!

Coming to this course knowing absolutely nothing about coding, I can't believe how much I've learned so far having only taken this class for the past 3 weeks! For the first time, I'm actually enjoying what I'm learning and feel thoroughly confident in my ability to do the task at hand! I find the challenges very useful because they forced me to practice coding instead of just taking notes (a bad habit of mine). All of the practice through the challenges really helped get the lesson ideas stuck in my head and I really feel like I know the content. I can see my coding skills quickly improving! I can't wait to learn more about coding and am really looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus! :)
although i was rather sceptical at the very beginning, i am happy i have decided to take the course. I did doubted a lot whether it did actually worth it and if i really needed to take such a course. Now after subbmitting my final project i can definitely say that it is really worth taking. It gave me a very good understanding of what coding is and how i can use it. I got so impessed and curious that I am planning of taking also the shecodes plus.

Responsive Design has been a fantastic follow-on from SheCodes Plus. Utilising live server and Figma during the process of design were excellent additions to my toolkit I was not expecting. Seeing how flexbox, media queries, and Bootstrap can all work together to create beautiful, functional websites has inspired me to look more into UX and UI design in addition to the core coding skills I am building.
Loved the SheCodes Plus Workshop, it really challenged me to do something technical again, now on to React!

Two years ago I did the SheCodes Workshop, without any basic knowledge of coding, and learned a lot. Now, with everything that is going on with our lives, I decided to invest on myself and improve my coding skills. SheCodes Plus was really fun. We're abble to learn at our own pace, always with the help from the SheCodes team. I do believe SheCodes empowers women. Gives them the skills to explore new paths that may have been too scary to try. Still have more to learn. Can't wait to start.
I started this workshop with no coding experience at all and after three weeks I have learnt so much. I really enjoyed progressively building my skills in each challenge and the homework at the end of each week . Working on my own project was also very rewarding and fun! If you're looking for a fun challenge then this is the workshop for you, SheCodes Plus really pushed me to go deeper into JavaScript which is exactly what I wanted. I now have a better understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript thanks to Matts lessons! He is very clear and shows us step by step how to work through functions and more. I started this workshop with very basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and absolutely no idea how to use Javascript. In just three weeks I have learnt so much and being able to apply it as you learn in the challenges and weekly homework is so useful for cementing that knowledge. I would highly recommend this to everyone I know, even if they think it has nothing to do with their career. I have had so much fun completing this workshop and can't wait to get onto SheCodes Plus next!
I've learnt a lot in SheCodes Basics and it gives you a great introductory insight and working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS. I love that there are exercises and that we get to put what we have learnt to practice. I'm looking forward to completing SheCodes Plus next!

I really recommend the SheCodes coding workshops! I started with the free coding class, then decided to do the SheCodes Basics, now I finished the SheCodes Plus!! I started off as a beginner, with absolutely no knowledge on how to code. After doing the first three week workshop I now know how to code a bit. I love how you can complete assignments at your own pace but still meet a deadline. Matt literally breaks it down in his videos, step by step making it super easy to learn. I am now excited to move on to SheCodes Plus!
The SheCodes Responsive workshop is a great addition to the program! It's the perfect follow up course to SheCodes Plus. There was plenty of new information, while also building on previously taught topics. I feel much more confident about my coding now. And to create your own portfolio website as project is both useful and cool!
Completing the SheCodes Plus React Workshop over the last couple of months has been a great experience from start to finish. My knowledge of coding has grown massively over the course including HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, API Integration, Bootstrap and Hosting. Signing up for the SheCodes Plus workshop is probably the best decision I've made this year. After a free lesson with Matt, I knew I had to try it. The first workshops were wonderful. I immediately got into it. But SheCodes Plus made me feel really confident with my skills and I developed amazingly. Creating a weather app was very difficult at times, but I had so much fun doing it! I would recommend them to anyone, especially one who claims that coding is not for her. You never know!
SheCodes Plus was extremely interesting, challenging and rewarding at the same time. Matt is a great instructor and honestly, I can't wait to learn more!

SheCodes Plus has been a great challenge and step up from SheCodes Basics. I am stoked about all the things I have learnt and am now more seriously looking into a career change towards becoming a Developer. It was a manageable amount of learning each week despite having a fulltime job. In fact, this course gave me something to look forward to at the end of the day, and it has been great to stretch my brain and learn something new with focus. SheCodes is amazing! I've completed a few other "beginner" courses online but Matt is the only instructor out there who actually focuses on the basics and doesn't try to teach too many new concepts in one go. I feel like I finally understand basic Javascript which has been a huge struggle for me in the past. Can't wait to learn more in SheCodes Plus!
This course has been both challenging and thorough. The videos are great and the Slack community is extremely helpful with working through tricky challenges. SheCodes Plus has taught me that I'm capable of learning a lot in a short time and that it's possible for me (someone whose background is in acting and writing) to problem-solve with a different side of my brain.

This was such a great course for a newbie - Matt is a really good teacher and the videos were super informative and helpful. I loved the challenges at the end of each video to put into practice what we'd just been taught and found it easy to follow along. I'm from Tel Aviv, Israel, which is often referred as the High-Tech Nation, but I've always felt like the world of coding is for people who are way smarter and creative than I. After 11 years of gap, I started updating my knowledge about computers by doing some free courses, I was frustrated as there is no particular way. While doing these tutorials, I came across SheCodes workshop which matched my expectation to pursue my goal to become a front -end developer. SheCodes courses are well designed and easy to learn. This course is really fun! It's a natural graduation from the Basics and Plus courses which enables you to really cement key principles. As always, the course is broken down into very manageable ,and enjoyable, steps. I really liked this course, however completed it much quicker than expected as there is overlap with the SheCodes Plus course. I still think it's worthwhile and offers valuable content.
While I had some prior experience with the material, it was amazing how the videos and interactive challenges helped me relearn and retain the information. Matts videos made learning fun and there is always help available through Slack. I am very excited to move to SheCodes Plus to continue with learning!

Overall, I really enjoyed the SheCodes Express class. It was great to be able to complete the lessons on my own time, and when I was having trouble I always found answers in Slack. I am happy to have learned some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and am going to continue with SheCodes Plus.
I would highly recommend this introductory course and SheCodes overall 💯! I have thoroughly enjoyed the structure of this course with its bite size videos and their associated challenges. The structure allows for the course workload to be achievable around life and work and prevents information overload. SheCodes Plus was so much fun. Programming in JavaScript was one of the things I enjoyed the most. I could spend hours doing the lessons without even noticing time passing by.

I really enjoyed this workshop and learning about React! SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge for me, so transitioning into React felt like a breeze (at first), but I know there is still so much more to learn! If there's one thing I would want more of, it would be: more explanation on *why* things work the way they do. The video content is all super helpful especially watching Matt problem solve on the spot, as they come up. Whenever I ran into issues, I was thankful to have Slack as a resource, but I do wish I knew how to troubleshoot for myself a little better. I know that will come with more practice though, and I'm grateful to have gotten the basics down in this course and working on my final project! 🥳
I feel like if you have a basic knowledge of HTML and Javascript, you should pick SheCodes Plus. Shecodes Workshop program has been a great starting point for me. Before the workshop program, I struggled to get started, so much info online which can be overwhelming and confusing. After the 3 weeks program I feel confident to to explore on other platforms and self study , but dicided to carry on to do Shecodes Plus because this program pushes me to finish all the tasks on time I have to hand in the homework at the end of weekly lessons. Doing it by myself, I won't be able to be that disciplined and motivated to finish tasks on time.
SheCodes Plus was challenging. For a person who just started the journey with coding it hasn't always been easy, but it was totally worth it! Matt is fantastic. I'm so happy that I found this online coding workshop. I highly recommend it!
