I enjoyed SheCodes Plus although it was not the easiest course. At the end of it, I feel like I definitely want to know more.
Starting the SheCodes Plus workshop was difficult at first, but in the end it was worthwhile. Unlike previous workshops, learning JavaScript was not for the faint of heart. After a few classes, the language, which had once seemed intimidating, began to make sense. The challenge revealed how important it was to stay resilient, and success hinged on persistently engaging with the material. SheCodes Plus may be tougher, particularly for people who are not comfortable with JavaScript, but the journey is marked by moments of clarity and accomplishment, turning it into a rewarding experience.
Excited to apply my SheCodes skills at ExperienceCo, where the hands-on projects and practical approach have boosted my confidence and knowledge. SheCodes not only unlocked new opportunities but also equipped me with the tools for professional excellence. My educational background is in Neuropsychology. Although I was really fascinated by the world of tech, it was at the back of my mind. As a graduate, working in mental health and understanding the vast technology that can be put together to support and help has been at the forefront. Taking on Shecodes has been an exciting journey. I am all done with the basics now, and I am waiting to get onto Shecodes PLUS. It took a lot of discipline and dedication, but if I am honest, Matt makes it fun to want to tune in and engage. Shecodes Plus is something awesome you need to jump on ! Trust me, it’s the coding goldmine you’ve been hunting for. And with Matt leading the charge, you’re set to crush it. They dive deep into JavaScript, APIs, and more. Plus, it’s not just about code; they help you level up your creativity to make your apps shine. Seriously, it’s the whole package!
To be honest, this course was easier than SheCodes Plus. Of course, knowledge and confidence have already accumulated. In addition, there was no Java Script. Today JS is the most difficult for me. Another achievement I consider is that I already watch video lessons with virtually no translation. It’s very interesting to watch how a whole website appears from a set of symbols, you feel like a magician. In Responsive you have to pay a lot of attention to detail; you have to redo many sections of the page several times, changing parameters for each screen size. I would like to express my gratitude to Met and the SheCodes team for the opportunity to learn. Of course, I definitely recommend these courses.

I have completed other programs before but I didn't gain the self confidence I needed to apply what I learned into building projects. After completing SheCodes plus, I gained so much confidence in myself and my ability to code. What I struggled with before, was creating functions and know where and how to call them, after building the weather app with SheCodes(I created so many functions) that they are now my best friend (lol). I now look forward to creating projects to add to my portfolio all thanks to SheCodes Plus!

SheCodes Responsive has taught me all of the things that I wished I could have done with my projects from SheCodes Basic and especially SheCodes Plus. I recognise there are other workshops that could, no doubt, teach the same content, however, the means in which SheCodes delivers this program of learning is effective for how I learn. The delivery of a lesson, followed by a challenge with a marked result and a solution provides the learning examples for me to properly understand. One of my favourite things about SheCodes is that even Matt struggles to get code to work for him sometimes, and he is a professional developer. This gives me confidence in my own ability (as it shows anyone can make a mistake, regardless of how advanced they are) and I appreciate that Matt could have gone on to re-record these lessons but instead shows us how he fathoms out these issues. Overall, SheCodes Responsive has certainly been a great learning experience and I look forward to undertaking React as well as the further 'add-on' projects 🥳

Following on from SheCodes Basic, I was ready for another challenge. Making the Vanilla Weather App with SheCodes Plus has been challenging but I've been able to use the support system on SheCodes Slack to assess any problems I couldn't figure out by myself and I am really proud of my Weather App!
I've really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop. Mattheau is really good at explaining everything and has a great logic on how to introduce and relate each topic in a way that it all makes sense and is easy to understand. The workshop is well paced and structured. I work a full time job but still I was able to complete the SheCodes Plus in less than 5 weeks. SheCodes Plus was so fun! I was so stoked to have created my very own live website! There were a couple times where I didn't understand the JavaScript, but rewatching the videos helped so much! Matt really explains the JavaScript thought process so well & he's not super technical with his explanation so anyone can understand him. I like how he mentions the common mistakes & he vocalizes his thought process even when the coding goes wrong - it reassuring. 😅 hehe. There was a lot of learning in the SheCodes Plus especially on JavaScript and the tools for CSS makes it a bit easier to get through. At most times it the workshop was really difficult, it took me way longer than expected to complete this but I'm glad that my perseverance and determination is what got me through this workshop.
