This was a great add-on course to push and challenge myself in taking what I have learned and trying something extra on top of the complexity of the world clock design. I combined this project learning with the previous SheCodes Plus project, and the result was amazing to see how much I have improved in such a short amount of time!

After having had completed SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus, and all Add-ons, initially Python Basics felt relatively "simple". I was very happy with the repetition of certain terms used, and of course it did get a lot more complex week by week. SheCodes plus was definitely a bit of a challenge, especially towards the end. I've learned a lot working through this course. I've mostly learned that coding/web developing can be very frustrating at times yet it feels so rewarding when you finally figure something out on your own after half a day of trial and error, googling, chatting with Athena AI, and then finally a light at the end of the tunnel. You are often times looking for a needle in a haystack. However I really do enjoy it and my problem solving skills I'm sure are going to continuously be tested as I continue on through out the bootcamp.

Python can be very challenging, but at same time, after doing SheCodes plus, your mind can make it easier to understand all the structure. Again, Matt made it easier. Juggling work and learning coding was also not easy, but I managed to do it and get this certificate as the video lessons were not long and were precise. After I finished SheCodes Basic I immediately started with SheCodes Plus. SheCodes Plus truly gave me a better understanding of coding. The projects were excited and at times complex but i thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Learning is one thing but replicating or creating something from scratch with comprehension is another thing. Coding requires logic and continuing the journey requires persistence. Coding is challenging, and requires time, effort, and trial and error. Passion is not necessary but it can help. So why do I love coding or continue to find myself doing this? I believe its because I can bring an idea to life by words. We do not hear this a lot but coding and creativity sounds like two different worlds which in fact work well together. Advanced CSS and JS was a beast together with codesandbox, but I was an even greater beast! I fought, I almost quit, but kept on fighting and here I am. Someone previously commented "Be encouraged and keep at it!", a special thank you to them, due to the particular comment amongst many other things I kept fighting. Moreover, I cannot get enough of the lessons, I just want to keep doing them. I like to say "There is so much to learn and see," I love learning and SheCodes Plus definitely had a lot of learning. I cannot wait for the next phase, I cannot help but wonder what other interesting things are there for me. Embarking on the SheCodes Plus journey has been both challenging and immensely rewarding. From mastering complex JavaScript concepts to navigating APIs, each module presented its own set of hurdles. Yet, through dedicated learning and hands-on practice, I've emerged with a profound understanding of most of the concepts that were taught. I'm really grateful for this transformative journey.
π After 8 weeks of SheCodes Plus, Iβve finally completed my project! π It''s a Weather App that provides real-time weather updates for any city worldwide. It features current weather conditions, a 5-day forecast, and a responsive design. Users can search for their desired city to access relevant weather data. The project leverages HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the OpenWeatherMap API, making it a reliable resource for weather enthusiasts. SheCodes Plus was an excellent continuation of the SheCodes Basics workshop. It provided me with the opportunity to enhance my abilities and become more proficient in JavaScript, while also gaining knowledge on GitHub utilization and website hosting. I am looking forward to what the next workshop has in store for me!
I recently completed the SheCodes Plus program, and I can't say enough about how valuable the experience has been for me. As someone with a basic understanding of coding, I was looking to take my skills to the next level, and SheCodes Plus exceeded my expectations. Taking the SheCodes Plus course was really exciting for me.While some tasks seemed really hard at first, but when I solved them, it felt really good. Under the guidance of Matt, and his clear explanations made coding seem approachable. Learning was fun, and I enjoyed every bit of it. As I complete this course, I will be continuing with SheCodes courses. SheCodes Plus has sparked my interest, and I'm eager to see what else I can do with coding!
