The Basic Workshop had easy to navigate lessons, challenges, and homework. The program provides great support through Slack with quick response times from instructors and other users. As someone who is completely new to coding, I would recommend this program to others hoping to learn an introduction to coding.

This introductory workshop really helps understand the basis of html, css and javascript. You learn at your own pace (love that you can speed up training video and pause when needed). I felt engaged owing to the online slack support as well as challenges and homeworks. Also, challenges and homework are great, practice is key in coding to understand how all these languages work together and is needed to actually retain the info (at least for me^^) I loved the format, not too easy not too hard, just challenging enough to want to dig into it more :)!
The courses are setup brilliantly with testing challenges as well as projects. The supporting resources available as well as the team have been great.

This last workshop (React) was a tough one. But when you get the hang of it, it becomes a lot of fun. This has been a very challenging project. This is a great introduction to the world of coding, I had to get used to the disappointment of the code I wrote not always working and to asking for help. I wouldn't say that if I had to do it all over again I would be able to, without the help of tech support and Matt's videos. At the same time I have definitely learned a lot about APIs, Github, Sandbox, and everything else introduced in this workshop.
SheCodes has been an amazing course. I have felt fully supported the whole way and had so much fun! It's been such an exciting experience and I can't wait to start the next step!

SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I was a little hesitant at first, as I learnt to code in a statistical software during my masters, but I unfortunately did not enjoy the experience. Nonetheless SheCodes has been an amazing experience. The lessons are very interactive and Matt does an amazing job of breaking down the concepts related to HTML, CSS and Java Script. I loved the fact that staff & students were readily available to support with any questions that I may have regarding my code or certain topics. Iv always been passionate about learning to code as I find it challenging and interesting especially whilst working closely with developers. I just couldn't find the right course however, when heard about 'SheCodes' thought id give it a try. Enrolling was the best thing I did I have already learnt how to code using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and Editor which is great achievement for me. I like the way the course is broken down to small weekly workshops, lessons and homework all of which was easy to grasp. This part of the workshop was much more challenging and some lessons were even difficult to grasp but it was very well explained, I only had to watch the lesson again and practice to get the handle of it. It all felt very rewarding by the time I finished this project. Highly recommend this! Support has been amazing.

I faced difficult tasks: to develop a weather application and a dictionary application in React.js. For me it was very interesting because the projects have practical application. I myself use such applications and I have always been interested in how it works from the inside. Thanks to Meth and the team for the helpful projects and for support during their realization.

I knew nothing about coding before the course. Now after finishing the course I have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I've had a lot fun during these three weeks. Having small challenges and weekly homework keeps you engaged throughout the weeks. The community and the support have been great and of course Matt's videos have been easy to follow along.

Started with SheCodes Basic and then took SheCodes Plus. SheCodes Plus was a huge step from the Basics and found myself frustrated at times, but the support from the SheCodes Team was always there. I learned so much from this course and would definitely recommend it. I look forward to practicing what I learned but I am so incredibly proud of what I achieved.

What I particularly like about the course is 'step-by-step' approach to teaching and mentoring. The course is split into lessons, each comes with amount of information just right to understand and use. A lot of scaffolding and support from the team really help to make new complex ideas easy to comprehend. Every new thing I was learning I put into practice right away while working on the course project. By the end of the course, I had created a working web app and it was even a little sad to finish the project and the course but I also have a great feeling of accomplishment. I would definitely recommend this course 😊✨
I really liked the course. At times it was difficult, but it helped to revise the lecture, or visit support chats. I didn't really enjoy working in codesandbox. Because constantly something buggy and incorrectly displayed when encoding. Working in Visual Studio is much more pleasant. Thank you very much for this learning opportunity! I am interested and I hope that in the future I will be able to apply this knowledge in practice.
