I'm thrilled I signed up for the SheCodes Basics workshop! The workshop structure is well-ordered. The challenges and homework projects are challenging and fun!! Matt is an excellent teacher and the support and timing of feedback from the SheCodes team are fantastic. I would highly recommend this workshop for newbie coders.
This workshop has been quite the ride! So much guidance every step plus online support for when you just can't get it working the way you are intending. There was so much information and techniques in these few weeks that I feel I am more comfortable using HTML, CSS, and even Javascript. Building a real working web app is such a fantastic way of truly understanding the concepts of how these languages all work together to create something fun and useful.
Thank you, Matt and SheCodes Team! You made me obsessed with coding! Lessons are so well structured and explained, and support is always available. It's so many courses out there on the web, but so few that you want to follow up and finish. SheCodes nailed it! An additional big THANK YOU for SheCodes Foundation. This workshop was fantastic! I loved how each lesson built upon the previous one. Matt is a great teacher, he explains what he's doing and why he's doing it. After struggling with self-directed learning, I was looking for somewhere I could get more support and feedback and also keep me on track each week. I'm so glad I found SheCodes! The whole experience was friendly, inclusive and encouraging and I can't wait to get started on the next workshop.

This was an interesting and helpful workshop to start my coding adventure. I learnt the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript to get me started and had fun along the way. I recently migrated to Australia from the US. I have zero experience with coding! I want to start a career in tech and I was referred to SheCodes from a colleague. This three week workshop has been challenging at times, but wow the resources and the way the lessons are designed you have all the support you need to figure out the solution. Also, with my current employer I work daily with our dev team and this hands-on knowledge I am/will be learning can help me immediately in my current role during my conversations with customer onboards during the integration process with different CRM’s to our LMS software. I plan to continue onto the SheCodes plus program and fingers crossed I will succeed in becoming a developer one day!

I have always been interesting in coding, however I assumed it was very mathematical and something I couldn't understand. That was absolutely not the case! these courses break down each topic in a way that is easy to comprehend. There is a welcoming community that allows open you to seek help if needed and feel supported! such an amazing community !
This was my very first introduction to coding and I believe SheCodes was the right choice. I really enjoyed the format of the SheCodes Basics program - structured with lessons and homework, but you still had the freedom to go at your own pace through out each week. I also really liked being a part of the Slack community - everyone is willing to help if they can and then you have the support of SheCodes as well.
After 6 months of intense online workshop together I am at the end of my path with SheCodes React that add another milestone to rich me of knowledge about the coding world. Thank you so much to everyone in the team. Appreciated your support and reminder weekly to permit me to stay on track with the program. I will for sure recommend all SheCodes courses to whom is interested on changing work and find another path. SheCodes has given me a lot and I now can fly alone. The Basics workshops are a great introduction to anyone who is interested in coding. I felt both challenged and supported during these three weeks.
In just three weeks, I went from having zero knowledge of programming to understanding all the basics, which is absolutely amazing! What I liked the most about it is that you can get live support via Slack whenever you are stuck in an exercise, which comes quite in handy, I would say. I am truly grateful for this experience and with everyone who made this possible.

I managed to complete all tasks because of wonderful support and instructions! Lessons were not overloaded. And also I appreciate that sometimes Matt left a small piece of items for us to search in Google by ourselves. That`s a nice idea of challenge! I highly recommend this course to everyone, no matter if you are a project manager or just caught some interest to coding and don`t know where to start.

SheCodes Plus is a challenging yet intriguing course. I've deepened my knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JS. The way Matt provides bite-sized explanations, challenges, and support is on a high level. Front-end development is challenging and needs a lot of dedicated practice. So, my journey only starts. I enjoyed that students were taught to use GitHub, Netlify. Working with API's is challenging and real fun. SheCodes Plus is highly recommended to everyone!

The SheCodes React workshop was fun and challenging. It was a pleasant experience to turn the vanilla JavaScript weather app from the Plus workshop into React in this workshop. The Slack Channel provided good support. Many students struggle with similar problems thus I could find answers to most of my questions on the Slack Channel.
I like this course very much! For me it was such an challenge: I thought that coding is should be very difficult... And firstly it was not so easy for me to find a time for studying, because I have family with two childern, little dog and full-time work. So that I felt quite stressed. But in process I began to enjoy coding, and final project helped me to understand what I can do it in fun way :) A lot of thanks to all SheCodes family for the support and inspiration!

Dear friends the course, SheCodes Plus was very interesting. It was not easy, not everything could be programmed at once, but there was a support team to help. I learned a lot of new things and it was inspiring. Now I understand how the API works and I can convert a file folder from my computer into a web-based application and it's just magic! My pivot from the world of Education to Technology was swift and rewarding. I found that you can start over many times, in tech, as each new language requires a new understanding. SheCodes made an immediate impact on my ability to understand the foundations of coding in HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Matt took his time to explain each new project and the layout supports the learning path. I did this to prove to myself that I am capable and to better understand the Engineers I support on a daily basis. I recommend this to anyone looking to pick up a new tech stack, quickly. Fantastic workshop! Easy to understand information for beginners with no previous experience (I am a previous speech therapist). Lots of content broken down into short, easy-to-understand videos. Plenty of support from the community so I never felt lost.
Learning SheCodes Plus can be quite a challenge but it was a great experience! I am happy to have learned more about coding after SheCodes Basic. I am also thankful that their team's live chat support is always available every time I'm feeling stuck or confused on how to do the homework.

I really appreciate the step-by-step process of this course. I feel like learning and practicing in steps and then later on applying it into a project is really helpful. I also enjoy the organization of the program and feel adequate enough to know where to look for help and where to find references in order to support in my learning.
SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging than SheCodes Basics. However, the SheCodes community was encouraging and helpful. During this course I had another severe asthma exacerbation, and it was such a relieve that I could continue to work on my project from the comfort of my own home. I was also able to make a friend during this course that was a huge support. I feel truly accomplished with my weather app! and I'm so excited for what is coming next!

SheCodes+ was a complex, yet fun and informative workshop. There were times when I struggled, but it was pretty exciting whenever I found the solutions myself. I was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be fun and quite easy for me. I enrolled in the basic workshop but I will continue with a pro. I understood every class and all the concepts of coding. It is a creative workshop and not boring or difficult at all. Also, when I needed help I was able to ask the community and the tech support.

I really like how the courses are built. They are truly bite sized, easy-to-follow and from topic-to-topic it gives you the sense of achievement that keeps you going even if you have to re-watch the actual topic a few times to feel totally confident about it. I also really like that anytime we got stuck we get the needed support on Slack in a timely manner.
Great introduction to coding. Matt allows you to fundamentally understand how html, css & java integrate and function. The pace was good.
