It was one of the most difficult training in my life, but I did not give up and made it to the end. Thanks to the whole team for their support throughout this journey, it was unforgettable. I want to learn more and keep learning. Now I understand that all this work has not been done in vain!
The course's format is efficient: frequent challenges, weekly homework and final projects alongside with clear instructions from the instructor; very supportive technician team giving quick solutions/explanation. I have learnt a lot by practicing almost daily.

I was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be fun and quite easy for me. I enrolled in the basic workshop but I will continue with a pro. I understood every class and all the concepts of coding. It is a creative workshop and not boring or difficult at all. Also, when I needed help I was able to ask the community and the tech support.
I have loved every second of SheCodes Responsive! I'm so excited to have the knowledge and skill to create my own fully-functional websites, looking back to see how my coding journey has progressed from the first simple HTML webpage project in SheCodes Basics makes me incredibly proud. I really like how the courses are built. They are truly bite sized, easy-to-follow and from topic-to-topic it gives you the sense of achievement that keeps you going even if you have to re-watch the actual topic a few times to feel totally confident about it. I also really like that anytime we got stuck we get the needed support on Slack in a timely manner.
Great introduction to coding. Matt allows you to fundamentally understand how html, css & java integrate and function. The pace was good. I loved how Matt encouraged wider thinking and exploration of how to find answers and solutions yourself. Very empowering. Very informative. And so much support. Thank you!

This course was great just like all the previous courses I've taken. The content was easy to follow and understand. I really enjoyed the project. As always Matt is amazing at explaining things and the entire SheCodes team is always responsive and there to support along with the entire SheCodes community. The best platform for learning! Very strong support from teachers and students.
I had a lot of fun working through the different practice problems and seeing everything come together in the homework assignments at the end of each week. Every lesson builds upon the last in a neat, stepwise progression that makes learning feel like a bit of a challenge but not difficult. I appreciate how the answers aren't provided but that students are given the information they need to "Google it" and come to workable solutions on their own. Bonus? My daughters think I'm cool now :) That said: I encountered an issue when submitting my first week's homework assignment that has left me troubled. I replicated the provided example but, after review, I was notified that my homework was incomplete; when I checked to see what the problem could be, the link I had previously followed to the example opened a differently-formatted page. I went to Slack to ask if I would be required to reformat my homework despite my submission being a faithful representation of the original example and was answered with a request to post my question in another channel of slack because it was a "technical" problem; because the turnaround time for answers was slow (an as-advertised ~48hr) and I didn't want to wait (and I want to learn), I went ahead and reformatted the assignment. Still, I have two problems with this: 1. Assignments that require students to copy (nearly exactly) an example document should not be graded in comparison to example documents that did not exist at the time the assignment was completed. 2. A support team should provide support, not direct questions to different channels and then definitions of what "technical" means, even if it does mean something different (and so vague as to be meaningless) to them. I asked a question of the support team that pertained to a philosophical question, not a technical question: Considering that I submitted an assignment based upon an incompletely formatted example (that was available to me), would I be required (by the SheCodes team) to continue formatting my assignment to match an example that did not exist (to my eyes) until after I had submitted my assignment? When I indicated that my question was not technical in nature (I had no difficulties creating a document, coding a document to match the example available to me, or submitting a document), I was told that, essentially, all questions are technical questions and if I want an answer I should submit my questions to the proper channel. This is not a free course and it is alarming to me to be paying for support and receiving resistance, instead. Just an FYI. I am learning a lot, but I am someone who enjoys the Googling and searching and fiddling. If I were taking this course with the idea of getting (and receiving) much support from the support team, I'm not sure how that would be going.
This has been an excellent experience and can not wait to learn more with SheCodes........who knows it could even be career changing 🤷♀️. Very enjoyable and the support is incredible!!

A challenging course, but absolutely exciting. Glad to have taken my first steps in React with the support of SheCodes. A lot of practice is the key factor of this course, it gives you the opportunity not only to learn the difficult things, but to believe in yourself.
I would highly recommend this program to any woman who wants to explore the tech field! It is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-star program. The people who help answer the questions, and help you get up and running are AMAZING!! The only experience I have is answering emails and browsing YouTube. I was extremely impressed with Matt the instructor. His teaching skills are in another dimension. ✔I have learned so much. SheCodes Responsive workshop is definitely one of my challenging, yet favorite one. I took a lot of time to finish this project, but at the same time, it was very interesting! Matthieu Delac's teaching skills, the tons of information to learn and practice he provides, to the guidance of the supporting team (shout out to João, Vlada, and Paul) have been incredible! It's a pleasure to see the final result and to know what I accomplished in the 5 weeks(creating my portfolio website with multiple pages that are responsive !) I've already enrolled in the React Course and am excited about the workshop! The SheCodes journey has elevated my desire to learn more, and practice my skills in real-life projects. Definitely would recommend this course!
I'm really grateful for this amazing chance to open a new door of opportunity for all women. Somehow it still is a common prejudice that IT professions fit men the best. Throughout the whole introduction to the course as well as the course itself Matt Delac constantly supports code-beginners, feeds the feeling in us that 'you can do it! It's OK to make mistakes! It`s a fantastic course which I highly recommend anyone who is looking for the way into coding. The tasks are definitely challenging, at least they are for me. I have spent several hours a day learning again and again to understand properly, not just to catch the general idea. Powerful, however it`s worth doing. The team of specialists are always ready to support if you get stuck. Deadlines - keep you "alert", so as not to fall behind. What else - it`s vital to practice evry single moment, look for alternative decisions, do additional research. It`s not a game, it`s tough and strong course requiring your full attention to embrace this knowledge. I`m greatful and a bit tired but eager to continue.

SheCodes Basics is really good for getting started with coding. Thanks to three weeks of regular classes, I realized that studying can be interesting. I love this course for its simplicity and clarity. Ideal for beginners. It’s very convenient to study on my own and at my own pace, but at the same time to know that the community will always support me and share their experience.

I was a complete amateur when I started the SheCodes workshops and I've learned so much since then. I thought learning React was going to be a bit more difficult than it was, but I got through it with ease and Matt explained everything well. When I did have issues, I had good support from the team through Slack. I'm bummed that this is my last workshop, but excited to see where this coding journey will bring me.

SheCodes Plus was certainly challenging for me. I had experienced a number of predicaments during this course. When I sought for help from the SheCodes support team, they offered me external sources to get educated on which I had struggled to understand. Also, I learned a lot from a student I came across whose project I found amazing and educational. As I reached out to her, she kindly replied to my message and shared her experience in coding. I have been truly enjoying my coding journey through SheCodes. It is truly fulfilling when I get to solve the issues and make my codes work. I cannot wait to learn with SheCodes further.
Thanks SheCodes, I have really gotten so much out of this program. It helped me to get into further coding studying at a university and a digital jobs program through the government in my country. I'm really excited about everything that I learned, and I can't wait to keep learning more. I appreciate the style of teaching, the supportive teachers in Slack, and I'm shocked at what I've been able to build in just a few short months, and the way that this has allowed me to springboard into understanding more complex courses and code. I never would have dreamed what I have created would have been possible for me, thank you.
Very happy but more sad that the workshops are over. I completed all of them with a long break halfway through. React was the best workshop as it was a lot about advancing in front-end frameworks, structuring code and building something very interesting from scratch. The projects were the parts I enjoyed most as for me it is more important to have something to show instead of "just" a certificate. I felt guided and supported throughout the workshops with a great balance between autonomy and dependence. I really liked that Matt is so authentic when the code didn't work, e.g. "my god this is the kind of stuff you could spend hours on fixing this" made my day. 🥐🥰
I absolutely LOVED this experience! It was challenging but the needed support was provided through slack and cheat sheets. I loved the self-paced aspect of it. I love the challenges and appreciated the hands-on practice.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking the self-paced Basics class at SheCodes. Matt is an awesome instructor and while classes are pre-recorded, I felt as if they were live because Matt was engaging, entertaining, and really broke down concepts to make them understandable. I loved having the lessons and homework as a I learn by doing. I also had a ton of support with the SheCodes Slack community and was able to ask for help when needed or check the threads for tips and guidance on assignments.
I really enjoyed this course and would highly recommend it to any woman who is interested in taking her first steps in coding. Matt's instruction videos are easy to follow and I liked the hands-on approach.
