I started the course with a little knowledge, but I learned in three weeks a lot of things about HTML, CSS and JS. The course was very simple and easy to understand. Especially the support team was incredible.They are always ready if I have any question. I truly enjoyed it and I would absolutely recommend SheCodes all ladies who wants to learn how to code. My SheCodes experience so far has been fantastic. It's the perfect mix of challenging, interesting and very well structured. Before SheCodes, I had tried to self teach myself Python several times, however I could never progress very far and I think the main reason is because I didn't have access to a community that supported one another nor a structured lesson plan to learn the concepts thoroughly. The SheCodes experience is well worth all the hard work and you're bound to find something you like about it. 100% recommend this program!
SheCodes has been a great experience! I just completed the Workshop and am very excited to continue on in the Plus curriculum. I had very little experience in HTML and no experience in CSS or JavaScript when I registered for SheCodes, and now I feel confident in all three! Also, having a platform made up of all women has been super supportive & encouraging especially with tech being a male-dominant industry. If you're looking for a career change, or just want to learn more about coding, there's a workshop for all learners!
I absolutely loved this bootcamp! The workshops were simple and easy to follow. Other bootcamps make coding seem hard and daunting, but Matt does a fantastic job of breaking down the concepts and the logic! The slack group is also great as everyone is willing to help and support you. 100/10 would recommend!!
I honestly am shocked. I took this course as an Operations Manager for a start up. I manage one tech teammate and I remember her inspecting pages and finding errors almost immediately. I just got tired of feeling like I was managing someone whose work I didn't understand and I wanted to become someone who she could go to for support. I looked at code today at work in our email marketing and what used to be SO scary to click was now total cake and made sense. I can't wait to take the next level in SheCodes. It's so fulfilling and Matt and his support team are unmatched. I also made friends and I am a TOTAL introvert. I'm so proud of myself.
SheCodes Plus has been a great experience from start to finish. Every lesson is explained clearly and the challenges throughout the course ensure you thoroughly understand each topic. Learning about vanilla JavaScript has finally demystified the "complexities". Before this course, I was very confused about how JavaScript worked. I knew that it is incredibly powerful and in fact powered most of the internet or websites. But I just didn't how it worked. This course gave me the wonderful gift of finally understanding and loving JavaScript and having a ton of fun with it. I finally understand that it is a language of functions and you create those functions to bring features to life. And incredibly so, learning JavaScript empowers you in understand other languages as well. It's truly incredible. Once again thank you to the whole SheCodes Team and Matt for this wonderful journey and all their support. Very good. Whilst I appreciate that React is comprehensive and this course certainly teaches you a lot, and I'm sure certainly covers the basics, there were many times during the development of the App through the teaching that other aspects of React were alluded to but were not fully covered or explained. I only wish these were elaborated upon. Otherwise, a fantastic course with a great online support team and brilliant intructional videos made by Matt.
I consider SheCodes as the most powerful teaching platform. Matt customized the course material while putting himself into our shoes and this was the main reason I could manage to complete the course. (I started from Workshop, took Plus course, and this was the most challenging one.) Matt can teach very complicated information into a simple but sophisticated way and thanks to him I could carry on my interest in coding and motivation to learn more towards all the way down to the end of this course. I would like to recognize countless and continuous supports that I got through Slack group chat platform. While observing other peer students` success such as completing weekly tasks (exercise or projects), I gained positive vibes from those who already moved to the next stage and I tried again with never-give-up spirits. Programming is a combination of simple coding. Human created programming to control (or perhaps communicate with) the machine in a simpler way. While celebrating the completion of SheCodes React course, I would like to consider SheCodes as the well-structured stepping stone that I can always refer to. Last but not least, I would like to show my appreciation to Matt who kindly followed his value, inspired by his mom, sharing the professional knowledge to empower women on the IT field. Even though I did not have much interaction with peer students who are located all over the world, I do consider the feeling of the solidarity with them. It would be interesting to have an interaction with alumni by having a reunion or graduates` association to check how alumni are doing after the graduation. Matt`s core passion and his power of execution motivated me to take step forward my own version of contribution to the world. Thank you SheCodes staffs, Matt, Joao, Sara!

I am really happy with the results in three weeks I learned a lot and would love to continue learning in this platform. Matt is clear in this explanation and all the team is always very supportive on Slack.
I am beyond happy I took courage and did this workshop. I was nervous because I didn't have any previous experience in computers or programming but Matt's way of teaching step by step was perfect for me. I'm a stay at home mom with three girls (8, 5, 2 years old) and the fact that I could do all the classes and challenges on my own time really helped a lot. From beautician to front-end developer!!! A year ago I couldn't imagine changing my career, but the pandemic pushed me to evaluate my current position. It was the best decision I've ever made. SheCodes course was exactly something I was looking for to accelerate into a different industry. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the course, but the lessons were very well structured and easy to follow. I am currently working in the Sales Department at a Tech company and I signed up for SheCodes as a way to up-skill and broaden my technical knowledge. I started as a beginner since all the knowledge that I had was based on my MySpace HTML time, from about 15 years ago 🙂 The workshop is easy to follow and the challenges and homework fun to solve. SheCodes comes with a great community of other women interested in coding that you can connect and interact with via Slack 👩🏼💻👩🏽💻👩🏿💻and support is always available too! The past 3 weeks have been so insightful and I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus!

Shecodes Plus is a difficult workshop, since it is available for beginners, I think it should include more support to improve the learning experience. All in all, very good tools to learn, but difficult for students starting in the coding world.
SheCodes was a fantastic way of learning coding for anyone of any skill sets. I loved how collaborative and supportive the program was. The shift between watching videos and actively coding was so helpful and effective. I can't wait to take my next SheCodes workshop soon!

I really like the structure of Shecodes: bite-sized, digestible lessons; challenges after each lesson; homework each week and a big project in the end. This course was great to start learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I understood everything from this course, it is easy to follow and we always had the Slack chat for support.
I found all of the videos easy to follow and the exercises challenging without being frustrating. I appreciated how I could go at my own pace and the support that was available on Slack. I work with developers every day, and while I always knew what they do is difficult, this workshop helped me understand on a deeper level just how difficult their work is. I'm thankful to this workshop for not only giving me introductory programming skills and knowledge but also allowing me to better understand and appreciate my colleagues and their work.
The SheCodes Plus course was a great next step following the Introduction to Coding workshop. It allowed me to build on the skills learned in the introduction while challenging me to improve my coding knowledge further. The SheCodes Plus course was a great addition to the Introduction to Coding part. It challenged me on a daily basis and motived me to keep going on and learn more. The structure of the course made it possible to pick up skills and work in a framework that I have never imagined to be able to do before! :) And when I was struggling with the challenges, it was comforting to know that I have support, should I need it. Shecodes has been so informative and easy to follow. The lessons are bitesize yet full of substance. With a very busy lifestyle, I was still able to fit the course into my life, even doing extra hours just getting lost in the possibilities of code. Lots of support and a great community to be a part of.
So far very good! There is so many different online choices but this makes a difference: workshop way of working (with homework, deadline and homeworks to submit) and possibility to have support from the SheCode team if you have some issues (kind of mentoring on demand). Continue offer great product & service! Small future suggestion: as some videos were done in the past, update new info/changes eg. What is the difference between JavaScript 6 and the newest one.

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the 3 week introduction to coding, I feel confident to adjust and upgrade my sites and business with the skills I have learnt. I am dyslexic so thought it maybe to difficult follow and read the code however Matt explained everything clear and concisely so it was fast to pick up and put in to practice. Thank you so much for introducing me to something I think I have fallen for ! The constant support from the team was also wonderful so thank you all!!

I always thought of coding as part of an elite, something that was so far outside my grasp. However, it has always been something that has really triggered an interest within me. But my main problem was not knowing how or where to begin, and that's when I came across SheCodes, a course that provides with all the tools and help you need to get started. Without a doubt, I signed up for my first 3 week workshop, and I was not disappointed! I have now changed career course and would love to explore the coding world even more! With the help and support from SheCodes, nothing is outside my grasp. I want to thank the SheCodes team for the support network they have set up for all of their students, and how they have enabled and opened up a world I didn't think "was meant for me".

If you are looking to venture into the world of coding, this is a highly recommended workshop. Over three weeks you learn a tremendous amount of information about HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The SheCodes platform was user-friendly and it created a great learning environment that challenged me to get out of my comfort zone. An added bonus, is being in a community of like-minded individuals which was supportive and uplifting. The instructor and staff are knowledgeable and are quick to provide assistance when you are stuck. Overall, it was a great experience!

My SheCodes adventure has been a fun & delightful one. Like all good things, It has now come to an end, but i will hopefully keep in touch with the team & fellow students through Slack. I thoroughly enjoyed discovering & gaining some basic skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript & React. It will help me continue to learn on my own, but i'm not ready to apply for a development job yet. Skills would need to be further developed & honed for me to feel confident enough to hold a position in this field. ~ I'm grateful to Matt for the clarity & practicality of his lessons very suitable for beginners, & i also would like to give a special shout-out to João who's always been so quick to answer my questions & help me figure out what's wrong every time i had an issue with my challenges or projects. I had tons of fun. Yes, there’s definitely some frustrating times but all the support you get from the community and Matt alike, just gets you going! I knew zero to zilch about Code and now I feel like a competent ninja, inspecting different websites to identify what we learn throughout the workshop. It’s a great place to start if you want to figure out if you’ll like coding or not, and venture this vast world. I’ll be upgrading soon and I absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Because of my background, I knew "more scientific" programming languages, but here I was able to discover a whole other side of computer programming. Loved the easy to follow bite-size lessons which I could fit comfortably around work and family. The assignments were challenging at times (in a good way) but the support from the other ladies in the group was great.
I enjoyed every second of Matt's lessons. Coding used to be super scary to me. I never thought I would be creating and understanding code. The most amazing thing is becoming part of this community of women empowered to enter the world of coding and supporting other women get there as well.

I always thought coding is super difficult, but thanks to Matt's didactics I was able to build my first website! I have always been interested in coding. However, I also thought that it is kind of a mystery and hardly possible to learn without sacrificing years to it. Well, then my friend mentioned SheCodes and all my prejudices fell while watching the free class. These three weeks were so much fun and informative. Matt´`s instructions and the material provided alongside the workshop were very clear and helpful. This paired with the communication on Slack and the support by the SheCodes made the workshop so enjoyable. I am very happy to have joined. 🤩☺

The React course was a great overview to learn about this JavaScript library. I understand now the logics and feel ready to jump in a more advanced challenge, adding more languages to my toolbox and levelling up everything I learned these past months with SheCodes! Thanks to Matt's video tutorials even a total beginner can actually build something nice and useful. I am very happy I have chosen SheCodes to start with coding..
SheCodes Plus has been absolutely amazing! It's allowed me to strengthen the skills learned in the initial SheCodes workshop and build on from there. I appreciate the emphasis on becoming self-sufficient coders by highlighting the available resources, while still providing the support via Slack when we're really stuck. I highly recommend the course!
Learning to code has never been so fun! I was an absolute illiterate in coding but thanks to the simple, easy-to-follow video tutorials and online support I was able to get through the workshop with success. I definitely recommend the course to women who want to improve their IT self-confidence and learn coding skills
What a cool experience! Starting on the lessons, that were always very complete, but not time consuming, to the awesome support team, always on topic. The challenges were essential and very well constructed. 🙌 I highly recommend SheCodes to all the people curious about coding out there.
In short time I learned a lot about HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was super fun and not so difficult, all thanks to great coding instructor- Matt. I did all challenges, homeworks and final project with just left hand (right one is broken at the moment). If I can do it like that, you can do it too! This first workshop was great, see you all in more advanced courses! Also thanks to Daniela and Lexi for support!
I had a lot of fun while coding and I enjoyed the structure of the workshops. Matt's explanations are very clear, everyone was super nice and supportive when help needed and I think the challenges & home works are great ways to learn! I am very happy I found SheCodes and I definitely recommend it for ladies trying to learn coding.
It's a coding course for everyone! Whatever level or ability it is so easy to follow and gives you such confidence after every successful challenge completed. This is also such a relevant skills and to learn at home in your own time with support through the online chat, is perfect.
Amazing experience, so many hands-on projects, and a lot of learning. The way the course is run is so flexible that everyone can fit it easily around their busy schedule. The super supportive crew made the whole adventure fun yet still challenging :)
