The most challenging workshop so far, but incredibly interesting. Take a deep breath and make sure you have time and patience, because this is going to be quite an emotional rollercoaster. You'll find yourself stuck for stupid things, or things that you believe are out of your control. Keep searching, reading your support articles, and search in the support chats for similar problems. Eventually, you'll find you have learnt how to unstuck yourself, and this is a very valuable skill to have. Have fun & enjoy coding!

The extra (financial) support given to students and the impressive (emotional) support offered on the Slack channel are two great reasons to continue with SheCodes.
I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity to learn coding. I have experienced many educational programs in my life, I am a psychologist-coach, teacher and educational author, and I can honestly say that this was the best course ever. Course structure: The lessons are incredibly well structured, showing excellent insight in what the student is going through. For example, just when I felt like I needed to review the previous material because it was getting a little bit overwhelming, the next lesson - week 7- was a recap in which everything we had learnt was reviewed. Course content: Next to that, each lesson was a tiny step, so I never felt lost or confused. This is a key point to the course: it could seem incredibly overwhelming, but because of the small steps you suddenly arrive at the destination without realizing it! Individual learning path: The program also gives you the option to choose which level you want to engage in. For instance, the final project had two options, a basic and a more ellaborate one. And when working on the weekly challenges you can ask for help or get some hints if you want to. In terms of what we learn, I have consulted with software developers and they say it's a very complete program. Support! The SheCodes team is also very supportive and responsive: they are always available on Slack or email to answer any questions or help with any issues very quickly so when things got challenging it was nice to know that they were there. Their tone was always very friendly and they always put a smile on my face. Also, through Slack, other students help as well. SheCodes community: Last but not least, what really makes this experience unforgettable is the sense of community that the course creates. I've been looking to change careers and knew this is something I wanted to look into but didn't know where to start, or if I'd even enjoy it. I wasn't willing to go back to school and get yet another degree for something I wasn't sure about. I'm glad I found SheCodes! This is a great place to start and get a feel for it. Instruction is good & projects are challenging. I've learned a lot already in just the basics. Support from SheCodes seems great as well, though I haven't needed to reach out myself yet.
