I enjoyed the course a lot. It is really cool to see how many new things you can learn within 3 weeks. Regarding the structure of the course, Matt's didactics of the units and the support on slack i would definitely recommend it. It was really fun to create an own project at the end.

SheCodes provides a great opportunity to develop a feeling for the world of coding - compresensive descriptions, personal feedback and support, lessons on demand. It is really fun to test one's own recently learned skills in small challenges and to be able to detect mistakes. SheCodes provides an insight into the WorldWideWeb from the other side of the computer.
I had no prior experience about coding before but I learned a lot in SheCodes. I never really had the confidence to finish this course but the workshop was really beginner friendly and the support of the SheCodes team from Slack helped me to push through despite the frustrations! I would like to improve the skills I learned in the next workshop!

I have learned so many interesting and useful things during SheCodes Plus workshop. Everything was clear because Matt explains every piece of code into details. I also appreciate that he does not share too much information, so I am never overwhelmed. Sometimes it was so good to hear from him something like "You do not need to understand this right now." I really enjoyed SheCodes' lessons and challenges and the friendly community. Matt and the SheCodes team are great at helping and supporting you when you need it. I registered to SheCodes Basic workshop 3 weeks ago and I feel it was a very good decision. I truly recommend SheCodes, because I am a very visual person and for me details like the platform which is very well organised with beautiful colors and designs, the classes are well explained specially topics like JavaScript which are usually a bit hard to understand, thanks Matt for explain it in an easy way, the homeworks are supervised weekly and also we received help of our mentors and you can even have a reply a Sunday which I though it was not possible. I really enjoyed this class! I had absolutely zero coding experience, and I will say this class was a bit more challenging than I anticipated. If you are someone who needs a lot of repetition, like me, you may be spending more than 5 hours a week working on this class. Matt is a great teacher who makes coding easy to understand, and provides a great deal of resources for students. The slack chat with technical support is very helpful as well. I feel very excited to continue my journey in tech and have already recommended this class to several friends!

After completing SheCodes Basics, the SheCodes Plus course was a steep learning curve – but I knew I had support every step of the way. The in-depth lessons of this course have helped me understand how to connect CSS, Javascript, and HTML to work with one another, as well as how to integrate APIs effectively. All in all, I've gained new and practical knowledge. If you're someone looking to take your coding skills to the next level, I highly recommend this course!

I am so happy I found SheCodes! I had been learning how to code on my own for a few months already. And though I did learn quite a bit, I was struggling a lot. I felt lost in this new world, and it was very easy to procrastinate. This course has given me the structure that I needed and it really is set up in a way that eases you in so you don't feel so overwhelmed. I didn't think I could code. I had not used a computer in years. This course was so simple to navigate for me despite my lack of using a computer. The structure of this course is easy to follow. Although the challenges are, well, challenging, I had an immense amount of fun expanding my knowledge in this new-to-me industry. Love the support from the team as well! This workshop was amazing! I really appreciate the fact that the course is pre-recorded, as it gave me freedom to do things on my own pace. Lessons were very informative, clear and straight-up to the point. I would reccomend SheCodes to anyone who wants to start coding, as it is an incredible introduction to three coding languages! Having completed shecodesBasics, I really enjoyed it and decided to take the next step to ShecodesPlus. This one was much more challenging and it took me much longer than expected (due to being on maternity leave and looking after a young baby full time!). The team are very understanding and supportive and I genuinely don't think there is another course out there like this one. Thanks so much to the Shecodes team for producing this course for people like me! Definitely taking it even further and going on to do React as I've learnt so much already and keen to learn more!

In the past two months, I was trying to build my online portfolio. It was painful. If I had done this course before starting my own webpage, the whole process would be much easier than it was. I have tried to learn coding from the many free online courses, free sites and have bought books over the years but nothing has helped me grasp the concepts and stick with my learning the way SheCodes has. Everything just makes sense now, I felt I had full, guided support and having paid for a course I felt more committed to completing it. I work, am studying for a degree and have demanding family commitments but could fit this course in around all that as it is so flexible.

I have wanted to learn to code for a long time but always felt it would be too hard as I am not from a tech background. After attending the free coding class I decided to do it and join the beginners workshop. The way Matt explains things makes it so accessible and less scary. The support you get throughout and the quality of the classes is amazing. Couldn't recommend enough.
What a journey the last 2 months have been! I have come from coding basics to creating a fully-functional app hosted online, with a search engine that displays real-life data. I used to study about the basics of HTML back in high school and found it really interesting back then, but now, I am amazed to be refreshed, and enlightened with the new languages and the changes in the coding world. Now I know that learning about coding is not too daunting.

It has been such a fun and educational three weeks. I have never enjoyed coding so much before. Prior to enrolling at SheCodes, I used to feel hesitant to code despite being a Computer Science major. This basics course exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Matt is a great teacher and the approachability of the material, community, support, and resources was key to my learning. It can feel a bit daunting to realize I do not learn as quickly as when I was in school full time, but I found things clicking along the way and making their way into my day to day vocabulary. I have shown my work to friends that have taken expensive courses and/or gone to university and they are impressed in how much I was able to retain and the incredible resources available to me. From curated cheatsheets, to color gradients, image hosting, videos I can play at any time and even SheCodes Radio(my favorite part!). Highly recommend more women empower themselves through code there are not enough of us!

These courses very detailed and if your mess up on HTML, CSS or JavaScript, there is so much support to help you get back on track. I have never coded any webpages so this is a brand new experience for me. Matt Delac teachings are very good and if you miss anything, you can always rewind or look in up on Google. I do not regret taking these courses and look forward to completing all of my certificates.
This course is challenging but supportive, there were times when the end result looked impossible but with the help of the SheCodes network and Matt's videos breaking every thing down into small steps, I was able to succeed at even the toughest tasks.

My friend told me about SheCodes a couple of year ago but I did not think I had what it took to learn. Though the pandemic year I decided to challenge myself to try and learn, enter into it with a clear head and ready to make a tonne of mistakes. I never thought that today I would be handing in my first project. I felt like there was a lot of support especially when I made a number of silly mistakes. Don't get me wrong, this process still requires focus and dedication to come back to things when they get hard but I really enjoyed this process. I am keen to learn more because now I have started the only way is up!

The past 3 weeks have been an amazing first step into coding. The way that the lessons are followed by a challenge, based on the lesson's content, allows you to learn whilst doing, which is great for absolute beginners like myself. I had never looked at a piece of code properly before this, so learning how to write it has been incredibly rewarding! I loved the flexibility the workshop provides. I was able to spend the first week completing the lessons and spend 2 weeks consolidating what I had learned and work towards my final project. The community and support you're given access to on slack chat is also a huge benefit of this programme. Not only can you access help when you need it, you're also able to share your journey with others. I cannot recommend SheCodes enough!

I'm really excited to be starting my coding journey with SheCodes, the bite sized step-by-step lessons allow for flexibility of study, and facilitate learning a breadth of information and technical know-how in a short space of time. I have been able to learn a range of skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and VS Code editor, extremely quickly. The fun interactive challenges serve to test and consolidate your knowledge and keep your progress ontrack. There is also a supportive and responsive SheCodes community and tutors continuously on hand.
I have always wanted to start a career in tech, but never thought I could do it. After my company started restructuring the business and my position was on the line, I finally had my wake up call. "Is this what I want to do for the rest of my life?" and "Is this what I want to teach my sons?" So I signed up for the Shecodes Webinar to see if this could be something for me. I was immediately impressed by how easy Matt was able to explain everything and doing this in a safe environment supported by other women is what finally made me sign up. Although I found the first week challenging with a lot of information, after a couple of weeks it started to become more natural and I am actually enjoying my project and improving it bit by bit.
