Matt is an excellent teacher and the support and timing of feedback from the SheCodes team are fantastic. I would highly recommend this workshop for newbie coders.

Very good formation for learning the first steps of code. Interesting and nice way to learn. The instructor is a good teacher, anticipating the potentials problems or misunderstoods we could meet. He explains in a clear way every lessons, even if it's already more technical. The team is also very good. The course is great for beginners. Thank you very much to the team of SheCodes and to the teacher Matt for the knowledge which was received. I enjoyed learning and doing my homework. Sometimes it was difficult (especially the last big project lol) but it doesn't mean that it wasn't enjoyable. The team via email and on Slack was very nice and helpful.

She Codes was such an amazing experience to learn the basics of coding in a step by step fashion. I wanted to start this journey a long time ago and as starting is the most difficult part of every adventure , fear was eating my courage for breakfast every time I opened VS code. This time everything was different. I got a huge dose of knowledge, inspiration and a bunch of ideas how coding lets you paint your dreams in a digital reality... even if you're an opera singer who lives in an abstract world of her own fairytale... I’ve got to say that I’m really impressed by SheCodes Plus content. Matt it’s a very good teacher and the staff on Slack it’s always available for you if needed. I’m a criminal law Ph.D. candidate using my “free” time (and brain) to do the courses. It’s not easy to manage everything together, but it’s doable. You’ll need to dedicate yourself to it, maybe more than 5h a week, and practice as much as you can, trying new things inside your challenges and homework. The course will give you a full understanding of how to work with JS and put your code online, the rest it’s up to you. Practicing and exploring is crucial, especially if you want to pursue a development career. SheCodes it’s a very good first step into it!

The workshop was great, but I wish we got to learn more. The third week wasn't anything new - just a quick summary of what we learned in weeks one and two. I feel like that time could have been used better. Otherwise, the workshop was fun and Matt is a good teacher.

The lesson was great and teacher taught everything clear. The only problem that I had it was that checking the homeworks included too much time; 48hours for each homework!.
I am so grateful to SheCodes team for these courses. I started my coding journey 7 months ago thinking that I would never be able to understand the complexities of code and now I learned so much and gained so much in autonomy over the last months that I feel that I can go further on my own. SheCodes taught me something essential that I use in everything I do, being able to troubleshoot yourself. I tried to apply that along the whole cours but when I had a more serious issue, the SheCodes team was there to help. Wish I could continue on this journey even further with them but I managed to get to the end and I'm so proud and thankful to all of them. The SheCodes Basics workshop has been very useful for me as a complete beginner and has helped me to start my journey of coding. Reading the good reviews allowed me to trust SheCodes, but I was still a bit skeptical as I wasn't sure if it was for me. However, after just one lesson I was able to understand and learn things I never thought I'd learn. Matt is a great teacher and I hope more women are able to use SheCodes as a way of gaining new skills or expanding their pre-existing knowledge.
